I
came
to
Hand
and
Stone
in
Upper
St
Clair
today
for
a
birthday
massage
treated
to
me
by
my
husband.
I
booked
my
massage
for
Saturday
at
2:00pm.
The
booking
process
was
not
bad
and
the
person
who
helped
me
was
the
same
person
who
checked
me
in
and
out.
I
got
there
today
15
minutes
early
(1:45pm)
to
make
sure
I
did
not
have
any
additional
paperwork
to
do,
(I
completed
everything
prior
to
the
appointment
to
avoid
any
delay
in
my
massage)
I
was
called
back
by
my
message
therapist
Deacon
at
2:00pm
we
chatted
about
the
areas
that
I
was
wanted
to
work
on.
I
mentioned
to
him
that
I
have
had
some
tightness
in
my
shoulders
and
back
due
to
weightlifting
and
my
occupation
but
mentioned
to
him
to
do
the
whole
body
as
it’s
not
a
major
issue.
He
stepped
out,
let
me
undress
and
came
back
within
a
minute.
I
request
a
deep
tissue
massage
because
back
home
I
would
get
deep
tissue
massages
from
a
person
who
got
her
certification
in
Thailand.
This
massage
was
very
uncomfortable,
the
pressure
was
overbearing
and
I
felt
myself
not
enjoying
the
massage
that
much.
He
spent
a
lot
of
time
on
my
shoulder
and
back,
rarely
touched
on
my
legs
and
did
not
touch
my
feet
at
all.
He
would
check
in
from
time
to
time
to
see
how
I
was
doing
but
I
never
felt
comfortable
enough
to
say
that
the
pressure
was
too
much.
There
was
a
point
during
the
massage
where
he
asked
if
I
had
scoliosis
because
the
way
my
spine
was
shaped.
(Note:
I
do
sleep
on
my
back
but
I
go
to
yearly
checks
up
for
my
doctor
and
this
has
never
been
brought
up)
I
felt
like
this
was
a
little
weird
to
mention.
He
proceeded
to
point
out
where
the
deviation
in
my
spine
was.
Anywho,
getting
to
the
point
in
the
massage
where
I
turn
around
on
my
back,
he
starts
to
massage
my
shoulders
and
arms
and
goes
“unfortunately
we
are
out
of
time”.
He
leaves
the
room
and
I
look
at
the
clock
and
it’s
2:52pm.
Note
that
I
got
there
early
and
was
brought
back
to
the
room
at
2:00pm
and
my
massage
didn’t
start
until
like
2:05
after
the
talking
undressing
and
coming
back
into
the
room.
So
really
this
was
a
45-50
minute
message
when
I
paid
for
a
60
minute
massage.
I
paid
$69.95
since
i
had
a
discount
but
for
people
to
be
expected
to
pay
full
price
(I
believe
is
$102)
and
only
get
a
45-50
minute
massage
is
crazy.
The
location
was
convenient,
the
spa
was
clean
and
the
front
desk
person
was
nice
but
overall
my
massage
was
not
what
I
was
expecting.
I
will
not
be
returning
and
probably
should
stick
with
small
business
owned
massage
places
for
now
on.
