Dormont Dog Park

Dog park

😐 No one really takes their dogs in here, to my knowledge. I walk through the park all the time and no one is in there. It's an old tennis court. You're better off just walking your dog around the park on its leash. May be good for some off leash alone time with your pup or a planned playdate with... People often mention park,

You're better off just walking your dog around the park on its leash. May be good for some off leash alone time with your pup or a planned playdate with another pup and their owner, perhaps. Absolutely not hating on this area; just, not a standard dog park. It's literally an old tennis court lol.

As others have said, this is completely paved. Not good for dog's joints or paw pads to be running and playing on. Would be nice if there was grass or dirt. The small dog section is also oddly larger than the big dog section. Such a let down because the rest of Dormont park is beautiful.

If you have an active dog that likes to run, please do not take it here. Hindsight being 20/20, I should have known better, but my dog tore both carpal pads significantly after playing fetch for only 10 minutes. A paved surface is ridiculous for high energy dogs.

It's a little rough and kinda feels like a prison yard. But the dog park is in a super convenient area and our dog enjoys it. We've met some very nice people there.

A very nice location with lots of shade. That said, this one is completely paved. As long as your dog is ok with running around on pavement, this is a great dog park. 2 separate areas for big and small dogs, along with a bag dispenser and garbage can.

I need a high fence place for my dog, and this was perfect. There's no grass or obstacles, but I really just wanted some place that I could walk to and let my dog run, and this was exactly that.

Nice place for dogs. Parking on Memorial Drive.

Nice area and surrounding park but the dog park is asphalt and no really much for dogs to explore.
