This place is perfect. The atmosphere, the food, the staff, everything. I had a perfect burger with fries, and these are fresh cut fries that get perfectly crispy the cooler they get, which is incredible to achieve. The wine and beer list is crazy with a cocktail and whisky menu to match. I couldn't describe a better bar burger experience I have ever had. 10/5

Awesome place good food at a decent price. Good beer selection and they offer brews that aren’t just theirs. Definitely recommend Fat Heads Saloon!

This was our first place to try in Pittsburgh and it did not disappoint. We shared several appetizers and it was more then enough for two people. The smoked wings with garlic Parmesan (5 pc) were the beat wings either of us had ever had. Their signature smoked wings are breaded and then smoked and then the flavor is added afterward. The pretzel was soft with the perfect amount of salt, and it came with three dipping sauces (spicy mustard, mustard and cheese) and the chicken artichoke flatbread was filled with a ton of flavor. The crust was similar to pita and on the softer side, but firm enough to hold the toppings. The fried mushrooms were tasty and crispy and well seasoned, the horse radish dipping sauce topped it off nicely. We sat at the bar and made friends, the bartender recommended great drinks, highly suggest the sangria, real fruit is added on top to give it a nice finish. The imperial stout was delicious also. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a great meal or somewhere to hang out or meet up for a drink.

This establishment continues to be a favorite place for us to stop at when a trip is made to Pittsburgh. The sandwiches, appetizers, salads, and beer all are fantastic. The menu is large and you can easily find something on it for anyone. I highly recommend bringing an appetite for this one because you're going to need it. P.S. if you wanna hit flavor town give the smoked chicken spinach and artichoke a whirl before your sandwich arrives and thank me later.

The food is really good and huge portions. And their beer is the best thing around to start with!

The food and beer were so amazing. Very tasty! We even bought some beer to go!♡ we got the spinach dip flat bread 10/10. The smoked chicken was so tasty. I got the polish sandwich and my fiancé got the pulled pork. Everything was great. I would definitely eat here again.

This location of Fat Head's Saloon has a laid back, welcoming vibe. Obviously plentiful options for beer on tap! The place has a beer for any taste or food pairing. I only snacked on a giant pretzel which was tasty with a cold beer, but the wings and food of the people around me looked good as well. There is a nearby parking lot so that was easy enough too.

They are by far the best pub saloon ive ever gotten food from. The beer selection is great. I got jacko and fried wings. To die for. Next visit got southshore steak n egg and onion rings. Delish. Mext trip got sauteed perogies and loaded nachos. Always good. Got pork on the nachos. Little bit busy but worth the wait for the takeout

A Southside staple. Great beer, great food, great tunes inside. Its typically pretty crowded for a reason. Come for the amazing brews (their own and others), stay for the headwiches! Fat Head's is awesome! #HeadHunterFTW

We ordered wings to go and they were exactly what we wanted and more. The chicken was juicy and hot. We got the Original Sauce and it was different than we expected, but delicious. The sauce was tangy with red chili flakes. We ate inside on our second visit and the wings were just as delicious! We got the Carolina sauce, which was a little sweet for my liking but still very good. I didn't have wings while I was living in North Carolina, only barbecue, so it was a new experience having a mustard sauce on chicken. I can't wait to try the hottest hot sauce on our next visit.

Took a bus tour of Pburg ... looked like a fun place to stop for a beer on Carson St. We weren't disappointed. Had two ...😎. Good variety of styles and also had taps from other beer makers. Nice bar atmosphere and friendly serve team. 👍

I had my first experience there, I’d it met my expectations overall and food was good and delicious. They were fast to bring our order. Be careful if you are ordering “PALE ALE ED’S ANGRY CHEESESTEAK WRAP” It was super spicy 🌶! Definitely go back to try other options.

Great beer! Also had some apps and everything was great. We tried the cheese curds and the stuffed banana peppers. Both were amazing.

My wife and I stopped in here for an earlier dinner than usual. We arrived around 4:30 on a Friday, they were busy but there was not a wait for seating. Our server came and got our drink order quickly. We asked to be moved to a booth, which was not a problem. We ordered the pierogies and the large pretzel for appetizers. Both were absolutely amazing! The mustards that came with the pretzel were both top notch, but the pierogies stole my heart. My wife ordered the cod and fries. The fish were some of the largest pieces of cod I've seen. She enjoyed it very much, and for the price, it was a great value. I ordered the Marks Mighty Fine Bovine Headwich. The flavors on this thing were crazy good. The homemade pickles were a great addition and had a little spice to them. The atmosphere was nice. Not too loud, but still a bar environment. We aren't drinkers, but there was a nice selection of beers and liquors. The iced tea was very good. 10/10 would recommend.

If you're a fan of craft beer and are in the South Side vicinity, you've got to check out Fat Head's. Great venue, great selection of brews on tap, and decent grub. My only beef was the miniature serving size of the fish & chips for the price - disappointing.

Talk about a selection of their beer! Kerry was lovely with explaining everything to us about the menu and is very kind. We decided to start with the Giant Pretzel, wasn't worth the money. For the entree we both got the Beauty and the Beast. I got it with the tater tots and she got the fries. Definitely worth the money and more. Tots are crispy and the fries are just the right amount of salt. The sandwiches are amazing. Love the choice of buns they use with also giving you a ton of meat. Blows away the competition away! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and is a warm atmosphere.

Stopped in for Mother's day with my wife and kids. Food was awsome. Had the "expert pastrami" the wife had the chicken Philly sandwich. Food was greT service was great. Only negative I can day is that the dining area next to the bar could use a face l8ft. Other than that good food good service. Been there before, been there today and will definitely be back again.

I've been eating here for years. The food is usually very good. The French onion soup is surprisingly good. Amazing beer selection! Service can get overwhelmed when it is busy. I've been forgotten before. Also, the prices have gone up to the point where it may not be worth it. I'll be back but only occasionally as it has gotten so expensive.

Excellence all around! Flights are reasonably priced. Get the Smokehouse Wings. I first visited the Fat Head’s near Cleveland two years prior to coming to this one in mighty Pittsburgh. We were really looking forward to the wings since we were too stuffed to eat the last time.

Absolutely amazing as always! The best food and beer in Pittsburgh. The South Side Slope is the best

Food all tastes delicious. However, this is not where you go if you or anyone from your party wants a healthy meal. Every meal is at least 2x daily recommended allowance for calories. Deep dried mushrooms are a great appetizer and the platter is huge. Beer selection is great too. I subtracted stars from the food rating only because there are no reasonably healthy options on the menu - like not even close. I subtracted one star from atmosphere because the booths in the back are a little dark. If you are at or close to the bar the natural light from the front is perfect.
