Love Danny’s. A South Hills tradition! I prefer the steak hoagie over the Italian, but everyone else in my family likes the Italian better so I guess I’m just the oddball haha. I do have to knock one star off because twice I have gone and despite their hours listed they were closed for no reason.

To me, the make or break it ingredient of any hoagie is the bread. This bread is very very good & fresh & I love that. Overall this is a Solid Philly Cheesesteak. The steak is plentiful & well seasoned, good amount of cheese with the perfect amount of veggies. I also got a Sicilian cut & truthfully I’ve never been much of a fan of Sicilian style pizza but I figured why not? Glad I did, the crust was everything. I didn’t get a picture of the slice bc it was gone first. 😅 This was my first visit to Danny’s and I’ll definitely be returning.

Ordered a small pizza with mushroom and an order of wings. The pizza in my opinion was a little undercooked. It had a very tasty sauce and there was a good bit of cheese. Just needed a few more mins in the oven. The wings were good with plenty of meat on them. Maybe it was an off night. I'm giving a 3 star on this review. May change after I try more off the menu.

This place is a staple of Bethel Park so I had to try it out. It has a nice simple old school style of pizza; nothing you've never had but very good for what it is. The pizzas were good but the sandwich I had (no picture; sorry) may have been even more noteworthy -- an original Danny's steak sandwich. The secret sauce they use was super clutch; a nice sweet and savory kick that complements the toasted bread and toppings very well. Lastly, the pricing was very good in my opinion -- for the same price as their biggest pepperoni pizza, you can get their largest supreme pizza (also pictured). Typically, the supreme pizzas will cost significantly more, so the competitive price of $15.50 for each was a nice touch to the already impressive overall offering.

Best place to go for food if you want quality.. Friendly service and staff.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED... WELL WORTH THE DRIVE/TRAVEL TIME.... AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL FAMILY RECIPES SINCE 1960... I recommend getting the Danny's original Italian hoagie and square cut pizzas... Always a great place to go to before or after high school football games.. this next statement will tell you how good they are ---- DURING THANKSGIVING & CHRISTMAS TIME, THEY SHIP OVER 1,500 HOAGIES TO VARIOUS PARTS OF THE UNITED STATES. How I know ---- I used to work for this pizza shop.

This place is an institution to me. Grew up coming here. Love the Italian Hoagie! Best in town. Slices of pizza are excellent as well. Sorry to see the Lemon Blend was discontinued.... Keep up the good work Danny's!!

Has not changed since the 1970s-80s for the better. Great Italian hoagies that are well toasted and have plenty of ingredients.

I've been eating Danny's hoagie foe 50 years. I love them, even with changes in ownership the hoagies have basically stayed the same. This is a must go to for hoagies.

Ordered a pizza and a steak hoagie. The Pizza was decent...hoagie was very greasy and soggy. There was also a twist tie in the middle of it. Had trouble finishing it after that.

Danny's is an absolute classic. The Italian hoagies are literally the BEST IN THE WORLD. (NO JOKE) My only problem is that I can only have them when I am back in the Burgh. Danny's, please NEVER change...

Definitely not what it used to be. Less meat. Less dressing. Smaller hoagie. More money. Pizza extremely greasy! Used to be my family's go to place for hoagies. 45 min drive. Not any more. Disappointing! Also. No hats, hair nets, or gloves being worn. I'm sure the health department would love that. Gross!

I’ve been going here since I was a child and my parents before I was born. Best Hoagie. Primanis who?!?!?! Better prices. The bread, sauce, and crusty cheese is the best. Have grown up on these Italian hoagies

Not sure how many times Dannys has changed ownership, but it’s time to change the name. Not what Danny’s used to be. For starters, they got rid of the lemon-blend machine. Followed by a product that taste and feels like a knockoff of past recipes. Not sure if they changed distributors or ingredients but Dannys is not one of my favorites like they used to be.
