Really nice lakeside bar with a large patio and outdoor bar. Very crowded on the beautiful Saturday I went, precisely for that reason! Didn't have any food but the food I saw around me looked tasty, but the beer was cold and refreshing!

We didn’t get to eat here we just stopped by with friends while in town because they wanted us to see it. How beautiful!!! We will come back when we visit!

If you stop at one place to eat while at Portage Lakes. NEVER a bad experience.

Great experience! The atmosphere is excellent and the staff was fast and friendly. The food came out immediately after our drinks were served.The PLX Shandy was delicious. We will look forward to visiting again!

You cannot go wrong with Danos. Service with a smile. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable considering the location. Worth a visit whether you get there by boat or drive there. The restaurant is very clean. There is a very spacious patio and there is the dockage for your boat.

We had the prime rib. It was pale and hardly had any taste. I ordered mine rare but no juices on the steak. Canned potatoes were served with it. Maybe just a off day.

Great place on Portage Lakes! The Dock guys were very attentive and friendly. The service was great from our server and the rest of the staff. Dano himself even gave my daughter a popsicle as we enjoy beverages in the sun. Food was ok and did come out ridiculously fast. We will definitely be back and recommend.

Limited menu still offers the basic variety of burgers, fries, chicken tenders, etc. Nice to be able to sit outside by the water. Nothing fancy, but comfortable tucked away in a local neighborhood. With access to the lake.

It's the local version of Cheers! Good food, friendly and fun atmosphere, great staff, and the absolute best host in hospitality - Dano! Will always love a Dano's burger!

9 of us rented a pontoon boat and stopped here for food and a cold beverage. Everyone ordered something different and it was all very good. The service was equally as good. Nice atmosphere and good music. Highly recommend stopping by. Also the Monday burger special is huge.

First time going to this place. Nice place, great atmosphere , friendly service. The food is trash. Ordered a burger it came out in 5 minutes. How do you cook a double burger in less than 5 minutes? Because it’s precooked frozen & gray looking. Cod sandwich looked pretty gross too. I’d give zero stars for food.

Such a great location and fun place. Drinks were good, service was good, but what's with the food? You are serving pail gray unflavored dry burgers that aren't even grilled or even brown? Never expected something like that for a place on a lake. Chicken tenders were pieces parts too! All easy fixes too! Fries were good.

Have always had good service here, love the atmosphere! Food is mostly fried but it's good, especially the fried pickles and sauerkraut balls!

I don’t normally write reviews, but this was probably the best service I’ve ever received so it deserves one. The food was great, the server was super quick and the atmosphere was awesome. This was our first time visiting and we’ll definitely be back!

Food was horrible! They used a frozen chicken patty(texture was like rubber)bun was dry.Orange juice came from Multi flow (not real oj)Took one bite and left,will never go back there again. I've had better chicken sandwiches out of a vending machine!

Seven of us went to grab a bite to eat here. We were in town the day before our daughter ran her first marathon, the end of October! Food was tasty and we had a great view on the water! Fortunately it was still nice enough to sit outside! It had many TV screens inside for watching sporting events as well.

Took away one star because the burger patties were small, dry and bland. Had they buttered and fried the bun a bit or.something, the flavor would've been so much better. It was just lacking. Adding to that the generic branded ketchup that had poor flavor, the food was mediocre at best. We did enjoy the atmosphere and sitting outside by the lake!

It's a great lakeside pub. I had the prime rib special. It was very tasty and cooked to my liking. Service was excellent. The owner was out greeting the guest and bussing table's. You don't see that kind of service much anymore. The entertainer had a good voice that fit his song selection. It was a great experience.

Dano's amazing staff makes you feel like family, as does Dano himself...great vibes here and a great location. Nice outdoor bar & seating with a great view. My "go to" sandwich here, as pictured, is a garlic grilled mozarella cheese on Texas toast...I add a burger, bacon, and grilled mushrooms & onions....mmmm, mmmm absolutely mouth watering. Don't forget the spicy mayo to dip their awesome fries in! On Tuesdays, the porkchops are out of this world... Better than most restaurants steaks! And you get 2 chops!...along with pierogoes, fresh green beans, salad, and Texas toast.
