Second time dining at North Italia. The fuse time, we came without a reservation and were seated almost promptly. The food is excellent the white truffle garlic bread. That dish is mouthwatering and addictive! The service and atmosphere on both visits were both good. On the second visit, the restaurant was quite busy so the food took a little longer to be served but understandable.

We went for lunch at this restaurant. The atmosphere was good, it is spacious with nice decoration and big tables. The bolonaise (this was a bit too heavy for me) and meatballs pasta we ordered were tasty and the portions were big. We also liked the salad with arucola and avocado we ate; it was fresh. Staff was so polite and helpful. We will definitely go there again.

A new Italian spot that I ran across during restaurant week. We were quickly seated in the front window by the door. The dining area is rather large. Perfect for large groups. They have a nice outside outside area for those diners as well. Service was pretty prompt. We did not have to wait too long for food and drinks despite the crowd. The food was really good. Seasoned and full bodied. Not bland at all. This is a contender and a new go-to for Italian at a reasonable price. The only complaint was the bathroom was dirty. Doesn't look like anyone checked or cleans it for hours. So I will be back to try a few other things on the menu.

I’m so excited to give this place five stars I haven’t even left yet. I intended to dine elsewhere tonight and happened to pass by and was intrigued. So I decided to stop here and eat. Everything was fantastic. I tried a local craft beer from nearby in Virginia, which was awesome since I love exploring beers. My server, Michael T was genuine and friendly, and very prompt, never annoying. I got to sit by one of their large windows to still enjoy the nice day, and it’s very airy, open, and light inside, with a friendly atmosphere. My food was all perfect. You can tell a lot of care went into balancing flavors in the dishes, and I believe everyone, even the picky eaters (guilty!), will find something they love. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, and am so glad I stopped. Excellent all the way through.

Balanced & tasty Italian dishes in a laid back venture! Service was what needed to improve! The five star doesn’t go to the service, but the kitchen crew. —— Second time: The service was really good! That is how important is rule of those friends who take care of service. People work hard and when go out for food expect to receive a service and food that bring them good mood. If any of these to is not right, the customer may not come back; but we did and I don’t regret. The half & half pizza: Mushroom 5/5 | Pepperoni: 2/5

I recently visited North Italia with my mother and had a wonderful experience. I decided to start off with a glass of wine, which was absolutely fantastic. I also ordered the pesto chicken, but instead of chicken, I opted for shrimp. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with the dish. The shrimp in the pasta were not whole, but rather cut up into smaller pieces. Additionally, the pesto sauce was quite overpowering, my pasta was drowning in it and it didn't quite meet my expectations. However, I must mention that I have previously dined at North Italia in Atlanta and had an exceptional experience. So, I believe that this particular visit may have just been an off night, rather than a reflection of the restaurant as a whole.

Highly recommend! We got several dishes and shared everything. It was all great: eggplant parmesan, spaghetti and meatballs, crushed meatball pasta, shrimp scampi appetizer, garlic truffle bread appetizer, arugula avocado salad. Maria was our server and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. Yes everything is very expensive, but it's an experience. The only problem was it smelled like pee where we were sitting not even close to the bathroom. All in all a great restaurant!

I recently visited North Italia, and had an amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere. The decor is beautiful, and the restaurant has a great ambiance. The food was fantastic! I ordered the Cacio E Pepe Pizza, and it was delicious. I also tried the Pomegranate Mules, which were a great recommendation from the waiter. The service was exceptional. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, I had an incredible experience and spent around $64 including the tip. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Italian dining experience!

AMBIANCE; Seating is quite close and not comfortable in this restaurant. It feels like you are eating with the people seated beside you. FOOD: nothing special. I recommend the lasagna but not the spaghetti and definitely not the Caesar salad. My husband had a gnat stuck in his do we sent it back to the kitchen. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Our waitress was attentive and answered all questions we had about their menu. I personally will not visit this restaurant again

Made a quick late-night dinner stop here. Opted for the funghi pizza and the spicy rigatoni vodka. Both selections turned out to be excellent. The service was truly exceptional – our waiter was attentive, assisting us in choosing our dishes and checking in multiple times to ensure our satisfaction. They accommodated our request to split the spicy rigatoni vodka into two separate portions, one with meat and the other without. While the ambiance can get a bit noisy, it was still an enjoyable experience overall.

Very nice food at good price near our historic Hotel Lombardy. Food came out fast and nice presented. The "small plate", are good size. I aldo had the aranchini, small balls of risotto on the spicy side, pretty good if you like spicy. We will go back before we finish our vacation. And we went.

It’s a typical Italian restaurant with very good vegetarian options that are going to quench your Italian food craving. Went here for winter restaurant week. We opted for sweet potato burrata salad and the eggplant Parmesan which were both excellent. Next, we orders the pesto pasta and a Margherita. Both hit the spot and at this point we want to save space for dessert and had to box the left overs. For dessert we ordered the tiramisu and the bread pudding. Tiramisu hit the spot but bread pudding was a little too heavy but we were also pretty full by then. Overall, really enjoyed the food.

We came here for our anniversary dinner and everything was delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and our wait time for food wasn't very long (and it looked like a packed night). I've been telling everyone to go here and to try it out.

We came for brunch and this place was great! The breakfast pizza Bomba style was delicious, the breakfast sandwich was huge. The spicy ketchup was wonderful. The drinks were refreshing. Super close to the metro, out door dining available, and not crowded at all for Sunday brunch at 12.

Great food. Service was excellent. Our waiter Tony was polite and went above and beyond my mom’s needs for gluten free options. They can do pizza and pasta gluten free and they were all delicious. The cook even made us gluten free “fry calamari”. My mom had gluten free chicken pesto and I had the vodka sauce rigatoni. Mine was a bit spicy, my nose and eyes were watering but I couldn’t stop eating it! We had a wonderful experience

Was my first night in DC and we out walking and this place had a great crowd and vibe too it for a Sunday evening. I think you may need a reservation but we sat at the bar area. The dish I had was amazing although I can't remember the name so check the pic. Service was slow at first but the waiter recommended the dish I had. Def a great place and a short walk down to the Whitehouse since it's on Pennsylvania Ave.

Really enjoyed ourselves. Nice, clean, airy, modern chic, but casual enough to be comforted in shorts and a t-shirt. We had two pizza, two pastas and the chicken parm, all was excellent. Creamy, unbroken cream sauce, pizza had the perfect crisp and the chicken parm was fab!

Came solo & sat at the bar. I had a good time. Derrick was honestly such a vibe & we shared some laughs. The food was on point. I ordered the spicy rigatoni vodka, the bread/oil, torta caprese and espresso martinis.

A national chain it might be, but North Italia doesn't disappoint. With a solid choice of salads, pizza and pastas, this spot is surprisingly on point every time. Service is great, prices are reasonable and seating is spacious. Put North Italia in the rotation!

Dessert was 10 out of 10. Chef's kiss! Very nice options and well-presented. The Rigatoni Vodka pasta had a nice spicy kick and the spaghetti bolognese was great too. If you are an Italian food lover like me, don't miss out on this one! Outdoor seating and a nice bar tucked away too. Can't wait to go back again. Service was amazing and staff was very friendly and informative.

Service was excellent. Atmosphere is lovely. Prices are fair. Good, old world wine list The garlic toast is not the best. The salad was good but too much dressing. The short ribs were amazing. I’d go back

Understated and under rated. Our group ordered a bunch of the starters as sharing plates and split a few of the mains. The food was INCREDIBLE. I'd describe it as staying true to authentic Italian with contemporary touches. Highly recommended with excellent service.
