Awful customer service. Said hello not once, but twice and the cashier just stood there staring. Once I finalized my order I said thank you, again nothing. Please teach your cashiers to say hello and thank you.

It’s hard to mess up a tropical smoothie so I’m rating this location 3 stars because the smoothies were good but the customer service was severely lacking.

Worst tropical smoothie I have been to. I placed an online order and got a sandwich with extra protein. But to my suprise they put less than 1 portion forget 2. Also, no one speaks English. So even if they get your order wrong, you can't explain it to them. This has happened multiple times, and I am sick of wasting my money.

Each time I've visited this location, I've received great, prompt service. I've ordered at the counter, as well as online for in-store pickup and have received the same level of great service. Unlike some locations, here, you can choose to eat at their inside or outside tables. There is a large parking lot, usually with many spaces available during different times of the day. Nestled on the far right end of the Plaza America shopping center, this Tropical Smoothie Cafe is conveniently located along Sunset Hills Rd., not far from Wiehle-Reston East metro station.

Generally go around 7pm and while the staff is generally good and the food tasty today wasn’t. Guy was slightly rude and blended one of the labels into my smoothie. Bits in the picture are the parts I split out onto the lid. I should have walked out after he lifted one finger up and curtly said “wait”, before I even said anything and was waiting, so he could finish a phone order. Also said something about not knowing how to make a smoothie as he walked to the back.... dude, you work at a place called tropical smoothie....

I had a large catering order for my company recently. The order was delivered, my employees raved that the food was very good! There was initially a mixup on the order that we caught early and the team at Tropical Smoothie went above and beyond to make it right and deliver stellar service to their customers. I would be happy to trust them to handle my next catering order for my company again!

My first time here... I ordered the detox green and it has a lot more ginger in it and less of other flavor than the one I got from Liberia, Manassass, which was delicious. It tasted like I'm drinking a watery green ginger smoothie. I don't plan on trying this location again. I should have read the reviews for this location. When I placed a mobile order, the Centreville Rd, Herndon, location would keep it in the fridge until I get there to pick up. This location, it is left on the mobile pick up table. Fortunately, I was only a few store away when I placed the order. Otherwise, the smoothie would start to warm to room temperature before pick up. Recommend placing a fridge by the pick up table to keep the smoothie cold and from melting. The lady working there was OK but she did say thank you before I walked out. The doors on the inside has no handles? This store is much smaller than the Herndon location, and the Manassas location is the biggest of the 3. Overall, of the 3 locations that I have gotten smoothie from, this is my least favorite with Manassas being my favorite. I do like that this location has tables outside, which could be because the space inside is limited.

I never knew Tropical Smoothie offered breakfast until this morning. I placed an order for delivery at 945. I ordered two smoothies and a breakfast wrap. The gentleman told me they would arrive within 20 minutes. Now, 56 min later, I still am wrapless and starving. Also I've grown quite hangry. I tried calling back a few times and the line has returned a busy signal. I checked my bank account because I became suspicious that I didn't order Tropical Smoothie but it was a TS charge so I did order at the right place. 1 star for extremely slow service.. if it ever gets here. --- UPDATE! Food and smoothies arrive 11:12 am. Basically lunch now. I open my All American Breakfast wrap only to find a peanut butter and banana wrap in its place. Disappointed. Don't get delivery here y'all. It's awful. ___ UPDATE! I went to the store to get the right sandwich, they gave me no trouble. I asked for a complimentary flatbread and they accommodated. Changing from 1 star to 3 stars.

Cashier didn’t really speak English so unfortunately it was tough to communicate as we were charge for the sides we got that were supposed to be included with our meal order.

Went in a couple months ago and have not came in since yesterday one girl wearing a scarf was so nice and answered all my questions, lady making my food was rude and when I asked for napkins she looked at me and walked away I had to ask a different girl My first experience a few months ago was horrible and never came back until yesterday my first experience I came in and a lady making food so was rude and when I asked her for something she just looked at me and walked away. Overall yesterday costumer survive was not bad and lady with a scarf was nice
