    Expedia was one of my favorite travel agency couple of years ago. We travel a lot my husband or me we always used to book hotels flight etc. We just come back yesterday from a trip with friends I explained them our new experience for the future we forget Expedia , be aware if you would like to book with them. My husband purchased 4 ticket to Hawaii over $3000 for the family. After he got update tickets changed. We don’t do big deal because the trip is on august. But last week he received the email our returning flight it’s not going anymore. There was 2 option change the ticket or return the money. So I called up the costumer service they said there is a flight but it’s not a same day, but we had all reservations for car house everything, but not everything able to change now. So I told them can’t change the ticket for next month because September kids going back to school , other months not the best to visiting Hawaii just put the money back to the account . The lady said they only give back the money for the returning flight because the other one didn’t chanced ! There is the flight policy after 30 days they don’t give the money back. I told her not I’m the one, who made this changes ,that’s not my responsibility. I asked to speak with her manager waiting an hour to find somebody after a man explained they will give back the money for the returning flight and for the arriving one he will give credit . I told him let me explain to my family so I asked the call back . He said the same time will be good tomorrow 8-9pm ? Before we hung up the phone manager was so rude he said don’t call us and wait again an hour . So next day of course nobody called us but my husband received the email how was the experience with Expedia let them know. I filled up and sent back . Then we went to sleep then after midnight between 1am my phone was kept ringing and ringing … till we pick up . Not the manager the lady was on the phone said Brigitta ? I told her do you know what time is it ? She said you requested the call back! I know she called me from India and time is not the same there as here but make this mistakes? Not with us again! Of course no money back ,no changes with tickets they just let hung on this case! I did some research and read reviews they went down for 1 star not surprised . If I’m able will give them minus . If they keep this work with the costumers who trusted them, this company will be closed soon ! If you are the first time user don’t book anything with them go to the flight company straight and book with them . You will not safe lose lots of money with Expedia. Never again.

    Scammed me out of $800. I changed a flight through one of their agents via a phone call. She clearly stated that I was purchasing a cancellable / refundable flight, but she booked the option without cancellation. Expedia is claiming that I cannot get a refund now. Will never be supporting Expedia Group businesses again.

    Terrible experience! Horrible service I don’t recommend them to anyone. I booked the non refundable hotel by mistake and I call immediately and ask them to stop my transaction and stop the booking. They tell me no worry! Next day they charge the money and refused to refund my hotel booking $600. I called them again, they blame the hotel refused to give me the refund. Then I contact the hotel, they said they need authorization from Expedia. Then I send Expedia email and call them they said the authorization is the hotel . Terrible, waste my time without any result. It is worse experience!

    Expedia would not refund my money after a 20 minute reservation. I went to the hotel and discovered it was despicable and not a place to bring kids in. The front desk clerk was great and understood the type of hotel it was and issued the refund to expedia right then and there. I was on hold with expedia for over 2 hours and was told to request a refund via email. Ok, fine. Did that.... three weeks later. No refund and they "could not reach the hotel". Its the clerks job to answer the phone but you couldn't reach them. Ok, fine. But they can see that she canceled the reservation within 20 minutes of making it. Soooooo sickening. This is post covid customer service.

    Long story short as to not bore you all. Booked a trip to Hawaii “Direct Flight” from NJ. Paid top dollar and paid the insurance and all. After booking we get notified the flight was changed to a lay over which we noticed was $1,400 cheaper. Airlines nor Expedia would refund the money they claimed it isn’t such an inconvenience only 3 hour difference so they won’t refund us. We had insurance so we canceled and went to rebook same flights with the lay over and save the $1,400. Expedia REFUSED to return the $300 for insurance saying they did their best to accommodate us on another flight within 3 hours of our original Direct Flight. NEVER BOOK THRU EXPEDIA.

    In all my travel experiences, dealing with Expedia has been the worst. I recently took my family to the Dominican Republic for a family vacation to celebrate my wife and daughter's birthday. When we checked in, we found the room was utterly unsanitary and, to be honest, disgusting. I thought it okay go to the counter and get another room. I did check on it and found the other room had mold and needed the air conditioner vents painted over. My wife began calling Expedia, and she spent the more significant part of 9 hours calling them as they kept disconnecting and hanging up on us. I went to guest services, and they informed us they would support us in checking out and finding another hotel. So we checked out the following day. Expedia was told by the hotel manager they would release us and refund us back to Expedia, but Expedia refused to take the measures for the corrections. My wife was in tears as this ruined her birthday. We have reached out several times to get reimbursed because we had to dish out out-of-pocket expenses for a new hotel costing over another $2k. I am distraught, and I will continue to post these photos on all the travel sites until this is resolved. I have also reported them to the BBB for their lack of trying to help us. Would you sleep in a bed with blood on the sheets and mold on the wall? This hurts 🤕

    I ordered the shuttle bus. Nobody showed up. I asked Expedia to issue a refund. Expedia accepted that request is reasonable, but refused to refund. Never use Expedia. Go to Priceline. Save your money!

    I hate Expedia. Will never ever use them and havent used them since 2019 when we flew to Brzail and an entire airline had been bankrupt and non existent for a month come to find out the day of our flight. No notifications , had to spend over $1,000 for my wife and I to get home as didnmy brother and his wife because every connecting flight got messed up. They offered us $200. The worst. And couldnt even spell my name right either. Just another POS company making money off of us buying up and re selling it to us

    Do not stand behind the customer when the business they use are terrible. Horrible experience at the hotel we booked through them. I would give them a 0 star if I could for this booking. The hotel, Red Rood Inn Sutton in Mass was horrific. The hallways smelled of smoke and the inside was run down and looked like a dump. The room was musty, there was mold and mildew on the carpets and there was black hairs on the white sheets on the bed when we pulled back the covers. The bed was all wrinkled and tussled as if it had been slept in and not changed. The bathroom was run down and disgusting looking. Needless to say we did not stay and when I went back to the desk they told me to have Expedia call them for a refund. I called Expedia immediately when we left. Well of course we never got a refund either because after multiple calls to both parties Expedia said they could not reach anyone at the hotel and the hotel manager told me they never called them. If Expedia supports these horrible businesses they should stand behind their clients when a booking goes bad.

    i continue to experience the worst customer service from expedia. and all for a single reservation. After being on a call for 2 plus hours, the agent dropped the call with no call back. Never use this company. i will be sending an email to executives demanding a full refund, An awful waste of hours of my time. Do not use expedia. Just terrible. and i am exhausted.

    Hello Google. This is my last resort to get Expedia to fix my problem. I tried to cancel a flight bought with a cancellation protection policy via Expedia's Virtual Agent, but the Expedia Agent cancelled my cancellation protection, NOT my flight. I tried calling and they gave me the runaround between them and Travelguard. The Expedia rep told me that I needed to call the travel insurance company and file a claim; Expedia couldn't cancel my flight since I now no longer had cancelation protection. I then called Travelguard to dispute the cancelation of the cancelation protection policy, so that I could cancel my flight. The Travelguard rep said that Expedia canceled my cancelation protection policy so I don't have a claim... they also rejected my suggestion to reinstate my cancelation protection policy because they now knew that I was trying to cancel my flight. The reason I had a protection policy is due to COVID; I never know if quarantine or isolation will come up at the last minute - Why the heck would I cancel a cancelation protection policy when I specifically told the Expedia Virtual Agent to CANCEL MY FLIGHT?! This is an outrage. I just need the flight cancelled so I can rebook it, but they (either Expedia or Travelguard) are not helping resolve the issue at all. They just refer me back to the other in an endless goat-rope do-loop. Their customer services are of no use.

    By Far the worst experience I have ever had. Expedia and the airlines gave me and my family the run around for 5 hours. My flight was booked through expedia. The fact that we live in 2022 and expedia cant help, airline cant help,. I missed my flight despite being 4 hours early. And now I am trying to re book without having to pay for new flights. Amazing to me that they get away with this and everyone plays the blame game and does not take responsibility. KLM had no problem taking my money for my luggage but could not provide me with a boarding pass because they claimed my flight that I was early for has already been "flown" and they are not able to change it in their system... If they cannot change it, who can. Nobody had an answer.

    Don’t book any cruises with Expedia because they gave me the worst cabin that was under a loading dock in the ship. It so noises I couldn’t sleep never again I use this service. Cheap prices from r a reason.

    THE WORST COMPANY EVER! We used them to book a hotel. On the way to our destination we called Expedia to see if it was possible to book a closer hotel to where we were going. The man on the phone with zero patience or tolerance said it should not be a problem. i let him know we paid the 15.00 in case we had to cancel. He assured me that as long as we paid that fee , we wont have a problem and he continued to push through the conversation so he can book us again for the next hotel. I interrupted him ( which annoyed him) to ask again, Sir are you sure we wont get charged twice. He said he was going to go into the reservation and get us the refund. Again , I said Sir.. I cannot pay for 2 hotels and again he reassured me that would not happen. Low and behold, the next day I get an email stating i was out of time to cancel and now I am responsible for the 2 fees. I called the customer service to see if we can resolve this and they continuously put me on hold and came back to the phone to say, Im sorry the time was exceeded and there is nothing I can do. Keep in mind they put me on hold a number of lengthy times, and then said there is nothing that can be done. I lost the 496.00 for the first reservation and paid over 600.00 for the second one. Absolutely no compassion for their mistake and basically had no intention on helping me. The first hotel had me as checking in and no body ever entered the hotel. very disappointed and now broke..

    Guys. Read carefully before you making deals. They forced to accept or cancel flights for their benefits. U paid for their problems. No apologies. Do not allowed to write in chart section. That’s it. Done. Instead of flight bought month ago for September forced to switch to flight with 1 stop And it’s Tuesday, not even weekend ?! Is it reliable service???? I am talking about Expedia 😔

    I just paid more for my luggage to be checked than I did for my flights. I was so embarrassed and caught off guard by the lack of information given by Expedia about my flight purchase not including one checked bag. $259.76 was the ROUND trip cost of my flights. The cost of my one suitcase to be checked was 1380 AED = 375.80 USD I will not be booking flights through Expedia again. Please check fine print and look at the airlines not the information from Expedia.

    I had to cancel a trip very recently and then submitted paperwork to the travel plan (Generalis Global Travel Insurance) that Expedia promotes/uses on their website. Now I as a customer of Expedia was not aware of that this travel insurance plan would have been so difficult to deal with. So for the last two months Generalis has been very poor with communication, efficiency and honesty. Clearly they do not want to pay. I have doctors letters and submitted everything needed and still they state excuse after excuse and lie. Please be cautious of the type of insurance plans these websites are promoting. I learned my lesson the hard way.

    I booked flight through Expedia and added travel protection plan. I wanted to cancel my ticket and calling expedia since 4 days to get my refund. One person says I don’t get any refund if I cancel my flight. Another says I can get refund with a charge of 100$. Another said that they want to give as credits(but I have a protection plan which covers 100% cancellation). The thing is when I explain the whole scenario to them the call somehow gets disconnected and they never called back. This happened all 4times. This is the most worst travel agency I’ve ever seen. Someone should really sue them. Very worst experience. Bloody beggars wanting peoples money shame on you expedia.

    Unfortunately Expedia allows hotels to charge hidden fees without disclosing them on Expedia. This has been going for years and Expedia looks another way at best and knowingly benefits at worst. Pod Hotel Times Square would be a good example. It's not a resort of any kind. But OK, whatever. Expedia did announce they they charge a resort fee and I prepaid in full to Expedia. Yet once I arrived Pod Hotel still charged me some taxes and wants money for the gym use. And there are more examples like these through hotels that Expedia promotes and does business with.

    Never ever book your tickets on Expedia Pathetic service ever I wish there was an option to give 0 stars I booked an air india ticket from expedia for Ny to Pune. I just wanted to inquire (just inquiry) about the additional charges to reschedule. #expedia agent went ahead and cancelled my booking without my knowledge; once agent realized his mistake they just tried to remove the cancellation. However this wasn’t in line with air India policies & I kept getting cancellation email. Several calls with hours on wait & multiple chat later expedia escalated to supervisor who admitted the mistake. Instead of immediate resolution they escalted case for some management approval. I am less than a week away from travel date & have not received any call from team. Every time I call I have to spend hours & explain all over to just arrange callback which I never get. This is worst service ever.

    UPD We were just reimbursed by Expedia. We finally got to talk to an employee who could actually help. Even though they made that mistake, it’s great they admitted it and fixed the issue. My husband had a flight booked in advance with Expedia for $900. He called their customer service to see if he could change 1 leg of the flight and see how much it was gonna be. The woman in the phone just canceled the whole flight that was due in 5 days! We asked for supervisor and he kept us on the phone for hours and did nothing eventually. We ended up purchasing the new flight with airline company for $2880 as it was 4 days left and the prices were already crazy!

    Unreliable, uncaring, deceitful, etc. I’ll never get another hotel thru this company again. Paid $80 for a hotel still under construction. The shower roof still leaking, everything in their office was bagged up. Unreal. Get away from Expedia and use something else. You will regret their service.

    Expedia is simply a criminal enterprise. I will NEVER even open a site from them again. I booked a single night for $290. My credita card was charged $1,008.30, 3 months ago. I cancelled the reservation a month in advance and filed a complaint with my credit card company, yet 18 hours of aggrevation and 3 months later, they continue to refuse to credit the account, despite making the excuse that they "accidentally charged me the amount in Israeli Shekel". I now have to file multiple complaints with the regulatory agencies. While you're at it, do NOT ever use a Barclays credit card. They are witholding the funds for 45 days while they "complete the investigation", so I am now having to cut my trip short, as I am in the Middle East, and miss the Conference I came to attend!

👍👍 This place was absolutely amazing! The price is very cheap! It has a lounge with coffee, candy, water, etc. It is very neat and their bathrooms are also very clean! You can rest, and they also have a charging hole to charge your phone. This place was so good and I hope many of you guys can come here...
