Went on a one day tour to eqi glacier. The glacier calving is breathtaking and the whole area is surreal. the trip can take a while tho, and there is not much to do or see on the way (other than icebergs of course). Food is served on board, but is not that great.

I booked 3 trips from them. The trips were ok but the staff didn't look very passionate. I booked the northern light tour and read their terms and conditions carefully but it seems a little bit misunderstanding. If you didn't see the northern light, they won't refund you even they cannot arrange you to the next trip. They said because you already went to the trip , even though you didn't see it they cannot refund. But my understanding is, if i didn't see the northern light and they cannot arrange me to the next trip ,i can ask for refund. Maybe you should rewrite terms and conditions and make it clearly. When I ask for the next trip, they said they already cancelled the trip today. the latest trip is after 3 days. It seems that they don't even want us to go again and refund as well. So be careful when you want to book the northern light trip. Also, they brought us to the wierd place which you can feel many light from town. I think you can go to the hiking entrance to see the northern light instead of paying for the trip. It was a terrible experience and you just stand on the rural area with no shelter and wait for northern light (freezing cold). About the boat trip, it was great. But we are the only two who don't speak Danish. After the guide introduce in Danish to other guests, he introduced to us in English. And we distracted by the whale for a moment, when we came back to seats, he didn't continue to introduce any more (we just listen around 3 mins before). it makes me feel unrespected. Why we paid for the same amount of fee, and we cannot enjoy the same service?

The idea of tours for them is charge you 40 euros for a Northern Lights tour, put you on a group with other 25 people and bring you in a mini bus for 1km away on the road to the airport and leave you there for 1 hour (at sunset!!). At least you are extremely lazy to walk for a kilometer and don’t want to freezing just standing out in the road for an hour keep your money in your pocket.

Kind, super friendly and skilled guides, good organisation and beautiful experiences for a very wide range of tastes: kayaking at sunset, fine dining, glacier tours and helicopter rides... I recommend strongly to anyone spending time in Ilulissat and Disko Bay area

Very nice crew and fun trip! Just don’t think their refund or reschedule policy is fair enough for customers.

I took the day tour to Eqi Glacier. We met at the headquarters in town. Do to a mix up of your start times we spent far too long waiting. Once on the ship the I formation was informative a and the scenery was stunning. We had unlimited tea and coffee, a rest room, access on the vessel outdoors and blankets. Another perk was that the steering house was not off limits. The lunch was superb and the 2 hours afforded at the base of the glacier gave us plenty of time to snap photos and witness some calving. The only negative experience was crew members throwing cigarettes from the bridge to the ice sheets in the glacier bay. This is totally unacceptable. Otherwise I feel the outing was a worthwhile tour.

Whales and up closer. Small and well maintained boat with great captain and guide. Completely recommend as a must do in Ilulissat.

This company is as amazing as the country itself. The staff are really friendly and helpful and all the trips they organised for us were top notch with incredible local guides. I cannot praise them enough for helping to make our stay in Greenland so magical.

Took a tour to Eqip Sermia glacier and had a blast. There was hot coffee and tea on the boat as well as comfortable bathrooms. Sweet polite guides. We were served a delicious lunch. I have really enjoying my travel to the glacier.

!!! BE WARY !!!! If I could say "-5" stars, I would. Remember to include the cost of travel/trip insurance. They DO NOT ALLOW ANY cancellation/refund - not 9mos in advance, not 6mos in advance, not even for COVID-19 or related illness! Per their Customer Agreement, cancellation is available for those with valid "Force Majeure" reasons. Which reminds me, "Don't forget to hire a lawyer before you sign on the line which is dotted!" Ask yourself - "Do I want to risk booking a $1.5K tour with a company that has such a restrictive cancellation policy AND refuses to work with their customers to find a mutually amenable solution and thinks it okay to ghost paid customers. If so, you found the right company.

Special thanks to our guide Jens - who not only gave us interesting facts about Ilulissat and showed us the northern lights but also is a fantastic football player (which my boyfriend happily confirms)!😊⚽️🇬🇱

Had a lovely time on the day trip to Eqi glacier. Our guides were so nice and really made sure everyone had a great experience. Plus, we saw some whales on the way back, which capped off the tour with some great memories.

We took the boat trip to Eqi Glacier, spent one night in a standard hut and one night in a tent at the Eqi Base Camp. We enjoyed our stay very much. All guides were very knowledgeable. The food was amazing. The hiking and the views were stunning. The trip might seem expensive in money, but it was worth every kroner!

I participated iceberg sightseeing tour in July 2018. One of the best experience in my life. You can see huge and massive icebergs in the midnight sun. Even if you're lucky you can see humpback whales. Tour guide was friendly and chatty. He explained all my questions and talked about the Ilulissat Icefjord, icebergs, glaciers and so on. I'd participate again if I had a chance

It has been an absolute pleasure visiting Greenland and meeting all the people from World of Greenland. They were always professional, on time and clear with all instructions of what we will be doing. We did 3 tours with them (all of which we can highly recommend), and each time their equipment was clean and in a great condition. This is easily the best tour company I have dealt with. Thank you for making our time in Greenland special!

The Tourist Information ℹ️ in Ilulissat. Although friendly and helpful the staff at times did not seem being able to assist us with what we considered basic questions. Also, there was a lack of clarity in the information provided, to the extent of that being incomplete and confusing. If Ilulissat wants to develop tourism, a more professional approach and improvement in basic areas in this place are necessary!

Take their whale watching tour, it was amazing. And you get to cruise the icebergs. We saw 2 Humpback whales really up close. A fantastic day.
