In and out pretty quickly for lunch. It’s got a nostalgic feel. Ordered two dogs, a sweet relish and one chili and cheese. The chili was good and the relish was packed on. The price was fairly inexpensive as well, you won’t break the bank.

Revisited...6-9-23..Still as awesome? 1st visit and it is just as good as the downtown store. LOVE the 50's Vibe!

When my husband was paying, I thought the amount was too high. When I asked about it, the owner came over and handled it. It was discovered we were charged for a drink when I had water. No biggie. Easily remedied, or so I thought. The owner opened up the register and handed me a dollar. I asked what a drink cost and was told $1.50. I asked him why did he short change me $.50. He handed me a quarter and said water costs $.25. Nowhere on any menu was that displayed. I let it go then. Of course we ended up paying taxes on something we didn’t get and he was definitely mad about the whole thing. This is in the “No biggie department” for me but he made a big deal of it. I would NEVER expect someone to pay for something they didn’t get! No apologies, no nothing. He clearly does NOT understand customer service. Oh btw. The chili on hotdogs is from a can, but it’s homemade chili in the Frito chili pie.

Always great food! The young man that took my order was super friendly! I can't wait to get back in town to have a couple more slaw dogs!!

4 stars because of the energy of the employees, they were so happy and gave me great customer service. As for the food though I’d probably give it a 3. I tried 3 things a la carte by recommendation. The spicy relish dog, the chili cheese dog and the chili cheese burger I believe. The prices seem reasonable on the menu but I’m not sure how i spent 20 bucks. Nevertheless the food wasn’t the freshest I’ve ever had but it was flavorful, although I wasn’t blown away. Maybe my expectations were high given the “best hot dog in the world” painted on the exterior. I think it was okay but then again i am from Chicago and we know the Chicago style hot dog is a hard adversary to compete with. Come for the food, stay for the service!

This family owned business is very comfy and cozy. It's a throwback to the old 50's style diner. The menu is simple but good. The service I received was friendly and quick. I had the chili dog and enjoyed it. For a quick and simple meal, I recommend it!

Took myself and the kids while visiting Georgia and the food was AMAZING. The spicy relish was so good that I might have to stop again and buy a pint before heading back to Texas.

Who doesn't love CJ's? The absolute best place for a slaw dog, chili dog, or hamburger. Family owned and operated. A staple in LaGrange. You would be crazy not to stop by and see for yourself. 🙂

I was having lunch at the bar today. All seemed to be well until I heard screaming coming from the back. Literal screaming. As I observed the situation, I realized it was an older male manager yelling at a young woman who seemed to be new. I felt it was highly inappropriate and I’m surprised they have any employees at all if that is the way they are treated. I was so disgusted by his behavior I will not be back to this establishment.

You can get 2 hotdogs and a burger for a price of 12 dollars. Pretty good deal. It is not the best hotdog and burger i had, but in that price, it is worth eating

Great food! Low prices. I would definitely go again if I had the chance.
