Picked JF because we have never stayed here and we always look for new locations to try. What a gem! From check in until check out we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was spotless, everyone was nice, and watching the barge traffic was icing on the cake. We couldn't believe how spacious each camp site is and everything was so level with nice picnic areas. We will be back.

Arrive only during the day. Short, steep hill off 14 and then a sharp left to get on campground road. A larger rig does best angled. We did it in a 35 ft class A. Lovely off season. Quiet. Clean bathhouse. Views. Get a site on the water, we used Google maps. You can kayak. Dam 3 miles downstream. Concrete pads and tent pads. Level in site 18. Newer hook ups. No sewer, there's a dump. No laundry. Small expensive supermarket in area. Piggly Wiggly. Gas motors allowed on lake. Seems like it would get crowded. Marshy so prob bugs. Easy drive from interstate. Watch out for speed traps in town. Gates locked from 10pm to 6am. I like this, makes it safe. My husband doesn't. Camphosts, and it appears, some locals. Recommended.

This is a very short drive from I-20 and value for money, you can't beat it. The camp host is Southern friendly and the park is very well kept. COE parks never disappoint me and this one is super nice. You can view Black Warrior barge traffic from your spot in the trees, or camp on the slough in the back. It's nice and quiet with hardly any light pollution. I'll definitely return.

The spaces are large and clean. We had a fire ring, grill, and picnic table at our site. We stayed in site 17. The cell service with Verizon was very good with two to three bars. The only drawback, if you call it that, is that there is no sewage.

A new favorite RV park. Paved pads with a fire ring, picnic table, grill, and a fabulous view of the river. Dog friendly, great playground, very clean bathhouse. We love that it's wooded, but trees don't interfere with parking or slides. The host, Miranda, was very kind and helpful. We will definitely be back.

The sites were spacious and well kept. Bathhouse was clean with hot showers. Good place for fishing and boating. Our site as well as many others had beautiful views of sunsets.

We arrived and were greeted by a lovely attendant who assisted us with finding our site. Incredible campground. Support from amazing volunteers will keep this campsite going but funding is needed so they can maximize numbers!

Beautiful place to stay! Host was very nice and made me feel welcome. The campsites are immaculate and there is not a bad location in the whole place. Fantastic place for fishing and boating.
