Had a very pleasant experience with a same day appointment. Jasmine at the front desk was courteous and professional. Dr. Hadi Jeiroodi was thorough in his questions and quickly diagnosed my illness, sending me on my way with advice and a prescription. In all it was less than an hour from my initial call to completing my appointment, even though I arrived a few minutes late. I am very appreciative and highly recommended this Medical Centre.

I was left shocked and upset at the lack of care and professionalism I received from one of the doctors here. I came in after experiencing serious symptoms over two days including night sweats, chills, fever and shortness of breath. This doctor immediately started an interrogation without doing any check-ups, around my weight, diet and lifestyle, asking irrelevant questions and making assumptions. He dismissed my symptoms and concerns entirely, and didn’t think to do any medical checks. I had to insist on getting my fever, blood pressure and heart rhythm checked, after which the doctor started talking to me about OCD, insinuating that that the symptoms were in my head. This doctor also said that tests aren’t required to make a clinical diagnosis. I walked out, paid and left. To add insult to injury, I paid $146.80 to be moved to tears in 15 mins with this doctor. I will not be returning to this clinic despite all the other doctors I’ve seen here being wonderful, as I no longer want to support this practice. I’m very concerned about how many serious diagnoses have been potentially missed by this practitioner’s negligence. I’m considering making a complaint to AHPRA as doctors have a duty of care to patients, and I don’t believe that this was met in my case.

This clinic does not bulk bill pension concession cards unless you are over 65 years old. Don't be fooled by their website. It would also be nice if they managed to get your name right. Lack of attention to detail is not what we need in a medical clinic when our health and well-being is at steak 🤦🏼‍♀️

My experience at Capstone Medical Centre was superb. It was my first visit as I was looking for a place closer to home in Southbank. Dr Hadi was friendly, warm, professional and caring. It's not a bulk billing place you pay an initial cost of $89 then you can claim part if that through Medicare. Definitely worth the money. Thank you

Worst clinic I’ve been too. 30 minute - 1 and a half hour waits to be seen, even when I call to make sure it’s worth me coming in on time it’s beyond an acceptable wait. I have severe asthma and they refuse to give me a mask exemption which is discriminatory. Miscommunications from reception and doctors, forgetting to write notes as to who I’ve seen. Rude staff, I’d recommend never coming here with serious health issues.

My family and I moved from Regional Victoria to Southbank in January 2020 (just before Covid!). After 20 yrs with our previous local / country GP, I was a bit anxious searching for our new family city doctor/practice. I admit I read one bad review of Capstone and initially went to another GP in South Melbourne - $800 tests/X-rays etc. later the original health issue still had not been resolved! Since then, we’ve attended Capstone about 8 times over the last two years including having all our vaccinations and now our boosters there. The Administration Team at the front desk are always remarkably respectful, kind and caring even when the practice is clearly very busy! The Vaccine Nurse is also lovely despite how busy she is also - her relaxed and calm approach helped our 12yr old get through her injection well and without it hurting. We’ve seen two doctors at the practice also and found this to be an equally positive experience - they were thorough , knowledgeable and seem to subscribe to a preventative / holistic approach to health and well-being. Our family are very appreciative of their care and pleased to call Capstone our new Medical Clinic. We’re also very happy to recommend Capstone to other families who are new to the area and looking for a caring GP clinic.

Natasha the pathologist is so amazing at her job!!! She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed as i had a really stressful morning somewhere else. She found my hard to find deep veins so effortlessly with no pain. She was super friendly and funny. Such a kind soul that deserves so much recognition! I will be recommending her and coming to her if i need bloods done from now on. Please send her the kit's for seperating plasma that she's been asking for! A great place to get vaccinated. I was required to get my 3rd shot for work requirements (otherwise I am not allowed to go to work). I booked online & filled out the forms online so I was in & out very quickly. All staff that serviced me were nice, which includes the nurse & the 2 reception ladies. I have never been there before & I cannot comment about the doctors so I am only commenting on my experience so far.

Had my covid booster today at Capstone Medical Centre . The nurse Mehrdad Eshraghi who administered the covid booster was very friendly and very professional and compassionate. I didn't feel a thing and no side effects. Thanks for the amazing and stress free service. Great medical Centre.

We were considering a treatment at Capstone and rang to discuss treatment availability and cost associated prior to consult, the receptionist called back and insisted to come in for a consult, told me to stop talking as she hadn't finished what she was saying and wouldn't disclose costs which were relayed on the website. We have decided to go interstate and have the treatment performed there due to that interaction. Very disappointing customer service received.

I have telehealth for prescription I have waited 4 hours. I was so sick I have to call them again and again to send me through my medicines. receptionists was so unprofessional when I called her she said we are very busy. Is it fare? After receiving medicine I started having it and on the back side of it is written please check with your doc if you nursing. I emailed her again. Never received any response. While the team and Dr Ben are great. I find it concerning that I’ve always had to wait over 20 mins after my scheduled appointment time to see him. More can definitely be done to manage appointment times, perhaps space them out to give him more time with consultations and calling others to inform that there is a delay would be ideal.

I went for my Covic vaccinations and also the booster at the Capstone Medical Centre with my wife, the front staff are very friendly and their services are knowledgeable and professionals. The Vaccine nurse is very good and friendly hardly feel the vaccine injection pain. Overall their services are very good, will not hesitate to recommend family members and friends.

The service is good. The nurse, Maya was with me the whole time while I was having my Iron infusing. The doctor came in from time to time to make sure I'm okay. And they also offered me a cup of warm tea and some sweets after the treatment during my 15mins observation. Overall, I am impressed with the level of care I received during my Iron treatment.

I recently visited the Capstone Medical Center for a check-up. I was very impressed with the level of care I received. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the doctor Ben Mansoori was very knowledgeable and thorough. I was particularly impressed with the way the doctor listened to my concerns and took the time to answer all of my questions. He also made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the appointment.

I’ve never even been to this clinic but get multiple spam text messages constantly. I have even called and asked to have them take my number of the list and they have told me they have, but yet I still am getting sent an SMS every couple of weeks. This is bordering on harassment at this point and unfortunately I will have to take this matter further!

The clinic has a lots to offer due to service and plenty of time slots to book in if you need to see the doctor on the day. Be aware of the waiting time can be more than 45mins waiting from the time of your appointment, without any notice of the waiting period unless you asked to follow up. The fee is currently $91.20 out of your pocket and Medicare paid back $41.20 can do the refund on the same day if you have an eftpos as saving account. 1 star down side to the waiting time and the price due to the cost of living, wish it can bulk like it used to - Personal opinion. Other than that they are great GP and willing to provide their best service.

I wish it was an option to give this clinic a 0 score. I'm extremely happy with Dr.Prado, he is an amazing GP, super profesional, reliable, empathetic and everything you want to find in your personal doctor but I just wish he was working in another clinic, I seriously wish!. The customer service in this clinic is terrible, nobody knows what they are doing, in various occasions they have missed to call me when the doctor have ask them to do it. I booked an appointment for today Thursday at 4:00pm, I got to the reception and the receptionist asked me really surprised: nobody has called you? my answer was: not, why?, oh so sorry Dr Prado is not working today, like seriously? they knew since Monday that Dr Prado wasn't working today and they told me they have called when they have never called me, or text me or email me about it, also they never cancelled my appointment through the Hot Doc app where I booked, in short words they never checked that I knew this information even that they have the time since Monday. The thing that annoyed me the most today was that at the start they weren't taking responsibility and owning their mistake of not calling me, they were trying to put it on me when I have proof that they have never called me or left any voice messages on my phone. This is just so unprofessional, for me as patient is enough having the stress of worrying about the results of my medical tests which was the reason I needed to seeing my doctor today, and now to add the stress of dealing with people that have not idea in how to do their jobs and the worst thing: they don't take responsibility in their mistakes. They finally apologise after seeing me really upset which is not ok. Also another excuse is that the Hot Doc app wasn't working for them, but oh surprise I left the clinic and straight away I got a notification from the app with the new appointment that they just booked before I left. Conclusion: this clinic needs seriously a better management. I couldn't be more unhappy with them.

Our skincare practice is opposite Capstone Medical. We would have loved to be able to refer here, but it's never felt like a high-end practice, which is what our clientele would want (and deserve!) However, recently I was in need of a short-notice skin cancer assessment. I was seen by Dr. Jamie Pearce, who explained that the clinic is under new management. I found Jamie to be warm, intelligent, efficient & kind. His work in preparing the area to be biopsied was excellent & I did not feel the initial local anaesthetic injection. I am used to receiving injections and I can tell he has good injecting skills. The followup care was great, with an SMS of the results coming directly from Jamie, without the need to call the clinic or attend the clinic to find out all was well. I would also like to compliment the receptionist. In my own business we know that a good receptionist is the cornerstone of any clinic. The receptionist was personable, polite, efficient without rushing, and welcoming upon arrival. She was beautifully well presented, her workspace was well-organised and she managed multiple patients coming & going with ease while I was there. I have seen so many bad reviews of this clinic 'especially the receptionist' which clearly belong in the past era/past management, that I feel the current receptionist really deserves to be applauded. She is clearly good at her job & a kind person. I will look forward to recommending our skin clientele to Capstone for future skin cancer checks. I would definitely suggest they change their name though, because the google reviews from the old management seem warranted and quite bad. Good luck with moving into a new positive era guys!

I have been a patient of Dr. Ben for some time now and can honestly say the service you receive at this place is highly professional. There have been times where I was running late to an appointment and the receptionists, very kindly, assured me that Dr. Ben will see me or gave me the option to reschedule if I wish. Felt very respected. Dr. Ben himself is also very patient and knowledgeable in his field and the diagnosis have been on the spot so far. I had been struggling with a chronic skin condition which for some reason was not responding well to other medications I had been prescribed with by my previous GP, but Dr. Ben offered an alternative remedy which kept things under control for one and made an endeavor to solve the underlying issue for another. Friendly, professional and respectful staff and environment.

I am so lucky to have Doctor Ben as my GP. This is a so professional medical centre. Because of my age, I have had a few medical issues in my health recently. What a painful is that all of these issues have occurred at the same period. I have suffered a lot. However, I am so lucky to have Doctor Ben to look after me. I went to this clinic for the first time today and was met with a lovely front of staff who were very friendly and courteous. Bonus points for being so sweet to my kids! I was seen right away by Dr.Farnoush and I thought I would leave with a quick referral for what I thought I needed done elsewhere and was pleasantly surprised when she was able provide a solution right away. I was introduced to Dr.Hadi the same day and got something removed that was affecting my confidence for a while. I felt heard, taken care of and as a mom of two young kids it was invaluable to be treated with so much patience and care. I also thought I would mention that my sister was suffering alone from covid symptoms a few months ago and thanks to her telehealth appointment with Dr.Farnoush she received immediate relief and on going support.

I had a telephone consultation with Dr Ben Masoori a month ago, the consultation lasted for 7 mins and they tried to charge me $95 (standard consultation is $80). I rang multiple times trying to get an explanation but they couldn’t explain to me or ever send me a proper bill. Every time the receptionist just urged me to pay via credit card over the phone and when I ask why I was charged over the standard consultation rate, they said they will get back to me but it’s been a month and I never hear back.

I walked in for an emergency (need to get stitches) and from the first minute to the end the all staff was very comprehensive and professional. It's not the place that we like to go to but definitely I would go back again. Thank you

I asked for a legitimate medical certificate but when the Dr forgot and left for the day, the clinic said they could not or would not call her. They wanted to bill me for a second appointment for the same purpose with another Dr if I wanted a certificate. It’s already $51 out of pocket for the first appointment. Then all they would say is the other Dr did not have time and I should go to the hospital if the swelling from my serious allergic reaction was still an issue. Very poor and disappointing Lucky I have an understanding boss who I sent pics of my seriously swollen face to, in lieu of the very much needed medical certificate

Don’t go here. The doctor literally just went on google and searched up what to do, gave my friend a shot she didn’t even need, charged us $90, and sent us to a different hospital. — update to post: I was in the room when all of this occurred, so I am a genuine resource. The doctor did not come up with any advice or diagnosis on his own, quite literally googled it and sent us to a different hospital. My friend was already distressed and his reaction only escalated her distress. And we were still charged full rate. Other medical professionals later told us she didn’t need the shot she received. We were sent an email afterwards asking for our honest review, so we gave it.

Looking for good family gp with bulk billings service,I got exited to see the good review on Google with bulk billing, unfortunately after calling the clinic to book,they said,it's not bulk billing.

I attended this clinic on the 21/12 as my usual clinic was booked until next week at the earliest. I saw one of the doctors and was told by him that one of the medications I take’s dosage did not exists multiple times, even when I was telling him that I have been taking it for over a year. One upsetting aspect was that I was discussing medication with him and he chose one of the ones my previous psychiatrist had recommended without discussing the price of it like most doctors I’ve had in the past have done. I have ended up paying over $60 for one medication, had I have known the price I probably would have asked for an alternative as paying $60+ for one medication every month is not practical for a student to pay. Very disappointing

Whilst visiting Melbourne from Adelaide my 8 year old son went into anaphylactic shock after being exposed to nuts mistakenly. Whilst we have all the correct medicine on hand panic set in and we raced him into Capstone Medical Centre which was directly opposite where we were staying. The staff were fabulous and took him into their care immediately without hesitation or taking details etc. They provided him with the urgent care he needed and allowed us to stay until we were comfortable taking him home again. Dr Hadi Jeirodi was wonderful and did a fabulous job of taking care of both my son and us as shaken and nervous parents experiencing this for the first time. We are forever thankful for the quick action and care provided :)

I'm not going to share my identity on here. But this clinic needs to change their approch on pricing. I've been going to this clinic for more than a year and the doctors have been nice but I mainly stayed for the convenience of the clinics location and the fact there I can easily get a blood test there without going to a second location. When I first joined the clinic, my concession card was taken in to account and I was bulk billed the first time. Then all of a sudden I was charged $90 with a $40 medicare rebate without being informed until after my doctors appointment. I was fine with that because I know of the financial issues surrounding bulk billing so I swallowed it but for $40 an appointment I should NOT be rushed out the door in less than 5 minutes. The final straw was today when I called your reception yesterday informing them I needed a form filled out and they organised a long consultation and informed me that I would be paying $50, I consented to that. I went in today and the form was filled, the doctor organised a vision test and an ecg scan to cover any heart issues considering my symptoms and everything was fine. I was in the clinic for roughly 20-30 minutes. I was not informed of any extra charges by the doctor or nurse when these tests were being done. I went to the desk and waited to pay $50 for a long consultation. I instead was told that I would be paying a private charge of $150. I asked if this could be rebated by medicare or billed with concession and they said filling out the form took longer than expected thus they believed that justified the charge. I have a disability that prevents me from working, so I'm barely scraping by. My disability also relies on others to explain their services properly and to inform me of any extra charges before proceeding with the services. I'm extremely angry and the lack of notification and lack of consistency in explaining pricing before proceeding with procedures and not informing me of the cost until AFTER the procedure is at best dishonest and at worst, a scam. Thanks to this dishonesty and lack of precautions, I have lost money that should be going to my utility bills and food. If you are in any way shape or form financially struggling, do not go here.
