I have consistently received poor service by retail staff at this store. When I have chosen items and gone to pay - there have been instances where staff chat amongst themselves and do not even look up, just sticking out the eftpos machine when it was time to pay. Twice now I have my items passed to me without a single word or a ‘see you later’. I’m not sure customers need to pay a premium for in store shopping at matchbox Doncaster - you almost get better service online.

Quiet morning but the lady staff is very rude when I asked if maxwell dinner plates is on sale since there is big 60% sale sign on the shop front. She asked “Do you come here very often?” I hesitated because even though I did shop here few times before I am unsure how often is an often? Then she raised her voice and asked again “ Do you come here very often? These prices are already best price. We never have sales on these items.” By the way when I first greeted her “hi how are you?” She replied “good? “ that cold stare and the awkward silence afterwards makes me so uncomfortable. I proceed to buy the two cashmere high rim dinner plates however I kind of regret it now. I should have just walked out .

Worst customer service ever received today. I was shocked when I had my elderly mum and who is also vision impaired viewing a tray and because their was four of us my mum was a little outside the door. Mind you the display is right at the door, she told me "put it back" worst customer service. Felt like a criminal. Even thoughshe was right infront of us. Mind you how can an elderly woman who looked very much vision impaired can see what is in front of her let alone be treated like that ??? Just horrible

Return an item Bluetooth scales which is not linking to my phone. I have pressed my password and the EFTPOS has also approved refund. But the suff said she still needs to check my signature so she forced me to sign the signature on my credit card but for what? how weird is that. I have got my driving license to approve I own the card but not enough? Just made me feel difficult shopping there.

Had what I was after at an ok price. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good overall variety on offer.

Great for a lot of kitchen utensils, pans, etc. Definitely worth a visit. They have really good prices on top brands.

Found them online, excellent user friendly, easy to use website. Items were delivered very quickly, some fragile items but they were very well packed with recyclable materials - would recommend. Thanks

I shop there it my closet store the manger & the staff are all very helpful when l am looking for something and if they don’t have will see if another store has it for me

I bought a bottle this morning, and washed it then I think it is too heavy while it filled with water. I went back the shop right away and going to change to a smaller one. The shop said because of Covid, and I washed it, they refused to change or refund. So since when Covid become a reason not to change a non-food product???

Extremely rude service from the lady with the glasses in a pony tail at Doncaster store 2:56pm.
