One of thee best South Asian joints I've ever been to on Long Island period. I'm a Sri Lankan and this is the first time I'm having Maharashtra cuisine at a restaurant. Wanted Pav Bhajee but it was out of stock so went for the Vada Pav and it was Soo good! My wife loves all things potatoey and this was a real treat. Ordered Bombay style Indo Chinese chili chicken and Murgh Dhaniwal as our entrees along with their goat biryani. The Dhaniwal was so different from almost all 'North' Indian dahi based Chicken curries I've had before, it had a sort of earthy yet aromatic quality to it. Biryani had a good amount of goat meat and it was really good 👍 chili 🌶️ 🐔 was spicy and tangy. They serve proper naan too that went amazingly well with the Dhaniwal. Washed it all down with thumsup and limca. Food and service was top draw. They have a bathroom inside but you have to go through the kitchen area to reach it. There were around 6-8 tables but the seating area is small. I highly recommend this place to everyone coming to Hicksville for their Indian groceries, just give this place a go and you'll never go back to the places on that main street. Can't wait to try their South Indian items! We'll surely be back. 😊

This a small restaurant away from all the major Indian restaurants and stores in Hicksville, but it is among the best Mumbai and info Chinese food I have tasted in and around Hicksville. Go there at least once. Better still order take out as there are very few seats in the restaurant. The proof of that is we almost ate the food as they came and so you will see near empty dishes in the photos.

We traveled all the way from Brooklyn to try this place, because not many places serve Mumbai food. It’s a small place and is always full. We had to wait for 10-15 minutes although we had a reservation. We started off with Vada pav, Bombay style chicken kathi roll and goat sukka. The Vada pav was good, wish they had served some extra chutney on the side. The kathi roll was very disappointing. The chapati was raw and the filling was dry, barely any flavor. Some shredded lettuce and onions and grilled chicken with mayo sauce. It wasn’t “Bombay style” at all and had to send it back as it was raw. Goat sukka was good and flavorful. For the mains, we got chilly chicken with gravy and chicken fried rice. Both the indo Chinese items were delicious. Good portion size. We had mango lassi but it was too sweet with a lot of cardamom. Overall the food was good except for a few areas of improvement.

Delicious food as always..We ordered almost 5-6 times in 2 weeks..taste so so good,everything is freshly made. We have tried chicken chops, chilli chicken,Amritsari fish ,butter chicken exactly India wala :D and of-course chicken biryani is the bestest i have eaten in entire long island ! Great customer service ! 10/10

Nice new find in Hickville for some good Indian food not too far from Little India Hicksville of Broadway. No frills small place with a small seating area, dishing out fresh, delicious more of the popular Indian dishes. Star of the meal was the Chicken Chop, succulent, juicy & flavorful, chaat and samosa to the point, malai kofta regular and Chili chicken close to Indian chinese but had a char and a little extra sweetness that could be toned down. Quick, attentive service, portions very decent.

Worst ever experience. The only place in my life where the son of cook(also the server) says there in no difference between paneer tikka masala and paneer butter masala. I ordered paneer tikka masala and i got the butter masala. I am indian and i do know difference between tikka masala and butter masala.I was so furious when he said this but had to control myself. The ambience is not at all good. There was another incident that i witnessed which shocked me. May be it was late in night but still this wasn’t expected. The cook came out of the kitchen and started drinking with the other guests. And i could also hear him speak about my complaint and laughing about the sane. After dinner i had to stand in queue and wait along with other customers for server to give us the checks and do the payment. Damn this was hilarious and would never recommend anyone to visit this.

Food was delicious and service was great. The place is small and seating close to the door is cold, but worth it for the food!!

I've been eating Indian food all over NY for the last 25 years and what a hidden gem this place is. My wife who is from India agrees this place is authentic with the freshest tasting food we've tried at any kind of restaurant in a long time. Packed with flavor and very fair prices. Try it and thank me later. This has become a weekly stop for us. Just wish it was closer to me.
