One of the most aggressive hikes in SC, which isn't saying a whole lot. However, it is more of an ascent than a hike. The cool breezes at the top make it worth it, and the birds and flora are outstanding, depending on the time of year. The primitive camp sites are wonderfully secluded, but car camping it ain't. Nice to have the camp store nearby for forgotten supplies.

A State park on Route 11 in South Carolina also known as Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway. On on one side of route is Lake Oolenoy and the visitor center, on the other side most of the trails including the steep Table Rock Summit trail. The park is beautiful with no entrance fee. Parking is also free.

Did the Table Rock Trail as a first time hiker, and man it was hard (but doable! My friend and I both made it all the way to the top and down). We are both a little out of shape, but if you really want to reach the top you will. The first 2 miles are very difficult- lots of stairs and rocks to climb, and it’s very steep. There are several difficult parts during the last 1.5 miles, but it is generally pretty flat and easier. The view is insane and incredibly worth it- you will know it when you see it. The descent was SO much easier. It only took us 2 hours compared to the 4 it took us to reach the summit. If you are hiking the trail and are not an experienced hiker, bring TONS of water and snacks- especially in hot weather. I would not recommend taking your dog unless they are very fit and used to this sort of strenuous activity. The entire state park is so well maintained and beautiful. Also- I would highly recommend hitting Dacusville Pizza on your way out if you’re going that way.

Very beautiful state park. There is a daily admission fee so be prepared for that. We hiked the Carrick Creek Trail to see the waterfalls. It is a 2 mile trail marked as moderate, but there are some pretty steep climbs up and down throughout the trail. There was also a nice sized place to swim if hiking isn't your thing. There are also several other trails that I would love to go on without my kids. Overall it was a nice park.

Great time of year to visit and see the fall foliage. We made it up table rock!! Great views!! Very friendly staff. Bathrooms were clean and well kept. Parking can be difficult on the weekends, be prepared, bring water and a light lunch.

This is a great park. I've hiked many miles there, and we have stayed overnight in the cabin areas. The trails are beautiful, and the views from Bald Rock and Table Rock are worth the long hikes to reach them.

This is a beautiful place to visit and I’m glad we did. Had a great time hiking and exploring the trails and creeks. So far one of my favorite parks. Will definitely be back.

This is a pretty epic spot to go hiking. Ive hiked all around this great state of SC and let me tell you…. This place should be one of the ones at the top of your list. The views are A1 though you should prepare for the event that the weather craps out on you. Bring a small poncho with you thats easily accessible. Bring plenty of water as some of the hike can produce a workout with the steepness. It becomes all worth it once you make it to the top. Take some photos, enjoy the scenery and have lunch to end the day

Paid for visiting the park $19. Nice place to get to waterfalls, cool down, hike and beach access for little ones, who love splashing in water. Clean bathrooms, would like more people around as the park was almost empty. Parking lot is well maintained. A lot of space.

Great state park. Super friendly staff and Rangers. We met Ranger Adam and he was so cool to chat with. The staff at the Nature Center and general stores were so friendly. Can't say enough. The guys who work at the concession store and boat ramp were super helpful. Lots of parking at the beach. 2 playgrounds near the beach; for little ones and older kids. The visitor center is at the opposite side of the road to the East side entrance and there is also a West side entrance. If you have little ones, I would recommend if you are hiking with them to plan on hiking Carrick Creek...Easy/Moderate that an older toddler 4/5+ can do. We camped in a tent in loop B. Would recommend if you are camping in a tent to have a little padding for the base of your tent. We also tried the paddle boat and that was easy for us to do. Hoping to try kayaking next time. I liked that all hikers had to register at the Nature Center. Highly recommended.

Table Rock is beautiful! There are hikes that start right in the park. We camped there 5 nights earlier this month. The bath house was always clean. The employees we met were friendly and helpful. The park was mostly quiet.

Park was great with a toddler! Did not hike any trails. Visitors Center is full of cute and fun souvenirs, shirts, sweet and treats, and clean bathroom. Pinnacle Lake area has a surprise playground and swim area! Very well maintained. Cabins, tent spots, and RV spots available. Hiking trails range for all levels of experience.

We just went to Table Rock State Park for the second time. We loved being able to walk from our cabin (#7) to the playground, lake and the hiking trails. The waterfalls on the hikes are beautiful. It’s a great place for the kids to play in the water. The playground is mostly shady. The lake was a lot of fun too. We did the paddle boats. The cabin had almost everything we needed. Just make sure to bring charcoal for the little grill outside your cabin, some firewood, and a lighter. We were able to buy those things from a local gas station after we arrived. The weather was really nice when we went last weekend.

Always a great time. The table rock trail is rough, but perfectly doable for most anyone with enough will power. And it is so incredibly worth it.

This is our second time coming to this state park! Love it!! We went on the table rock trail, which is very strenuous. But it was rewarding💛 and there are so many adorable flowers during this season🌼 Highly recommended! Last November, we came here and went hiking for the other strenuous trail (pinnacle trail? I guess). The fall color was super pretty! Don’t miss out the fall season at Table rock state park 🍁

It's one of our favorite places to go camping locally! There is so much to do, from hiking, waterfalls, swimming, sunbathing, camping, and playgrounds, just to name a few. Great family-friendly atmosphere surrounded by great and friendly people. Our campsite had a picnic table, but there are multiple different sitting and picnic areas throughout the park. The playgrounds are nice and shaded. We try to visit at least 2-3 times a year.

So many fun things for the family. Hiking, waterfalls, fishing on the lake, camping, cabins, and swimming on the beach. We had a great time. AND THE VIEWS! It's a magical place.

Concessions were not open during summer on weekdays. We rented the paddle boats, but my 7 year old could not reach the pedals. So she was disappointed. I recommend bringing your own life jackets if you have them. The ones provided are very old and have a musty smell with spider webs on them.

You don't have to be an agressive hiker to enjoy this amazing view. Just off of Highway 11 at the Table Rock State Park entrance on the North side of the road. A few parking spots and a very short hike to a bench on the shore of Pinnacle Lake. This magical reflection is a gift to be enjoyed in person!

I enjoyed staying here for a service trip and just recently revisited and got to see some nice views. Also nice there is an EV charger in the parking lot. Would be nice to see more charging stations.

One of the best outdoor family experiences in the state of South Carolina. I have camped here many times over the course of my life and Table Rock never disappoints! There are two loops of water & electric sites with very comfortable bath houses equipped with hot showers. There are several reservable shelters, a swimming area, boat house with paddle boats & kayaks to rent, a nature center with rangers on hand, and most importantly of all… the mountain! Table Rock is an amazingly beautiful mountain with a fairly technical trail all the way to the top with the most amazing views! At the beginning of the trail system near the nature center there are small waterfalls, which are very popular for cooling off in hot weather. The Lodge hosts free bluegrass “Music on the Mountain” monthly & rangers give fireside nature talks on weekend evenings at the amphitheater. The Visitor Center & adjacent Lake Oolenoy provide additional views & fishing from two piers or non-motorized craft. I say, what’s not to love!

Great place to camp and hike. Campsites are nice and roomy. I tent camp so plenty of room for that. Poles to hang your lanterns on, fire ring, picnic table, and easy access to the trails. Rangers and camp store staff were very helpful and friendly.

Beautifully kept grounds and Visitor's Center with stunning views. Interior is extremely well-kept with a helpful staff, lots of State Park as well as area information, and items such as fishing poles and camping accessories to make an overnite stay even more inviting.

We stopped here before going to Caesar's head. The Fall colors were beautiful surrounding the lake. They have a nice gift shop and bathrooms.

Gorgeous trail, gorgeous time of year. Well maintained. Lots of traffic and doggos, as to be expected. Would like to see people leave less trash- no one wants to look at dog poop bags (especially when you’re less than a mile from the trailhead!).
