We came here to make memories with our thirteen year old son who is terminally ill with brain cancer. They were so incredibly accommodating, went above and beyond to make the experience a truly memorable, once in a lifetime chance. The guides, we had John and Jake, were hilarious, knowledgeable, experienced and all around excellent in every way. They made a super fun experience even better than expected. Everyone on staff treated us with the utmost kindness. The views are varied and gorgeous. Some of the ziplines go through the canopy, others give you a gorgeous open mountain view. The zip lines felt safe and they treat safety just like they treat fun, super seriously! I could not recommend this enough!

I've been zip lining before at other places but The Gorge far exceeded my other experiences. I went with my daughter and had a blast! The location was well maintained and beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Our guides, Joseph and Matthew were the best! Super friendly guys that made our experience personal and loads of fun. Can't recommend highly enough. GO ZIP AT THE GORGE. You won't regret it.

Our two guides were very good together. Fun goofy while still leading the group in a professional manner. It was so fun speeding down the lines. Only complaint was I think they could use a photographer as well. We got a couple pics from the package but the guides don't have enough time with everything else they have to do.

Super experience beautiful views and great guides!!! 4.5hr trip. Suggest going either at the 4pm when it's cooler during summer or first trip out. The guides are experienced and carefully instruct you with safety as a priority. Great for first timers. If you have a shoulder or hand issues you may want to double check. The stops on the end of each run can be quite jarring, but a person in our group had 2 broken fingers and did ok bc she only used one hand. Just don't grip hard at the stop.

Had so much fun at the Gorge! My husband and I went together and loved the guides we had- Hannah and Vinny. Both were professional, informative and funny which made things even more enjoyable. We went on a somewhat rainy and foggy day but were still able to get some incredible views in on a couple of the lines. Highly recommend!

Having never been on a zip line, I was a bit apprehensive that this intimidating adventure is truly for beginners. However, the staff were reassuring and I signed me and my 11 year old up. It was so worth it!! Once the nerves settled, we had the absolute best time! John and Ben were amazing guides. Safety is obviously paramount and they did a great job of helping to settle nerves and give tips for the best experience. We will definitely be back!

We had the best time at the Gorge Zipline! It was one of the coolest experiences. The beginning of fall colors and cooler weather was a perfect time to go. There was a great mix of different zippiness, beautiful views, and rappels. Ryan and Elliott were the best guides ever!! They made the whole thing so much fun and had some great jokes! Definitely go check this place out for some awesome adventures.

Katy & Dakota were the best guides ever! They were very friendly & helpful, & kept the mood light & funny to ease any fear! They also knew the history of the area really, & gave fun-facts about each leg of the tour! If I ever go back, & we’re allowed to pick our guides, I’d definitely ask for them!

We had so much fun at the Gorge! Even the rain could not keep this from being a great experience. The views were breathtaking, the ziplines were fast and the pictures were silly. Sam and Maddie were awesome guides and made everything easy and fun.

Alex and Sam made our experience so pleasant and fun. They were always caring about our safety, making sure we were having fun as well as comfortable and documenting the entire experience with fun photos all along the course. Booking was super easy. All expectations from us prior to arriving we’re communicated beautifully. The facility is so welcoming as were all the staff. I highly recommend this for your next zip adventure!

Such great fun! Everyone should sign up for this kind of fun. Chris and Malynne were so funny and helpful. It just felt like a fun outing with friends. Not overpriced or overinflated expectation. Just a really great time. Malynne makes the best hot chocolate! Chris is so funny. Thanks to both of you for a great time. We’ll be back!

My husband and I received the zip lining tour for our birthday's this year, and we could both not have been more pleased with the Gorge. Absolutely breathtaking views, wonderful guides, great communication [from booking our trip to arriving on site], and clean and spacious amenities. There was a warm cozy indoor/outdoor loft area that overlooks the mountain, with clean restrooms, as well as warm beverages [complementary]. There was a cool gift shop for additional finds. The guides were very energetic and fun, talked us through the entire course and pointed out the gorgeous views. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and will be back in the spring!

I really enjoyed my experience! Our guides, Matthew and John, were great. They knew how to make everyone feel comfortable and have some fun. The views were spectacular even in the winter; without the leaves, you can see miles of views usually covered by the canopy. This is a great experience for beginners, too!

What an amazing experience!!! Ziplining was on our bucket list and The Gorge Zipline did not disappoint!! Guides Riley and Boden were both awesome....so knowledgeable and personable. They definitely added to the enjoyment of the tour.

My second time on this adventure. The Zipline course is beautiful any time of year, the guides are the best in the business, and the equipment is well maintained and safety is their #1 concern! Thanks Jon and Emma for a wonderful day of zip lining in the Gorge!

Ziff and Bodie were AMAZING! (hope I spelled your names right) We decided last minute to book our tour and I am terrified of heights so I was quite scared when we first showed up. Our guides were so helpful, patient and knowledgeable that I felt completely at ease... and they had a great sense of humor that kept us laughing and having a great time! The views were outstanding and we can't wait to go back!

I was not sure what to expect, but all I can say is that this is an experience of a lifetime! It was amazing feeling like a bird in flight (as close as one can) and seeing the views from the zipline! What really boosted the amazing experience up two notches is the guides.......I had Mason and Vincent aka Vinnie! These guys were incredible and hilarious! There were times when they would notice someone may be a tad anxious and they would offer support and their humor to help ease the tenseness! If not for them, not sure if the experience would have been the same! Everything is planned out perfectly and these guys know what they are doing! I cannot wait to go back and do this again! I even bought me a cool tank to show what I had conquered. Also, the guides take pics along the entire journey and you can buy them at a reasonable price (IMO) to show your fun you had...because trust me, you don't want to bring your own personal phone out there and risk losing it! The facility itself is clean and has a cozy/woodsy vibe to it! I highly recommend to anyone ready for adventure and a high dose of adrenaline rush! Again, shout out to Mason and Vinnie.....we loved you guys and want you as our guides next time.......luckily I don't live far and can come back soon!

What a cool adventure! I highly recommend this to anyone seeking a bit of an adrenaline rush ! Jake and Grae were great tour guides, instructors, and cheerleaders to the entire group. I will echo the advice of the company and tell you to leave the phone in the car or at the lodge. I brought mine in my zippered pocket hoping to take some scenic photos. You’re wearing gloves the entire time, they take lots of photos, and you’re trying to stay out of everyone’s way on the platform. You don’t need a phone. I’m addition, the photos are of relatively high digital quality if you wanted to get one printed professionally averaging between 5-7 mb per shot. If you’re going in a group, it’s an insane value for $35. You get every photo taken on the course (88 for our group) so you only need to pay for one set. So for a group of 4 you’re looking at $8.50 each I’m pretty terrified of heights, and this was a good way to get over it. Both guides were very informative about the capabilities of the equipment, the maintenance and the inspections that are performed . It was much easier to focus straight ahead then freak myself out looking down or around until I was back on the platform. Just beware there really isn’t a whole lot of opportunities to quit once you start. You will have a chance to climb down a ladder after the second zip. You’re kind of committing to the entire course after that. The jolt at the end can be a little jarring, steering yourself can be a little nerve wracking the first couple times, and climbing up onto the platform at the end can bea little tricky but the guides will make sure you land safely. In a full group it took just about the full 4 hours, and try to limit your fluids the morning of, there aren’t any restrooms in the tree tops .

This place was absolutely amazing!!! I brought my son here to zipline for his birthday and he had a blast. Both of the guides had great personalities as well!. I couldn't participate with him, but I wasn't scared for his safety as the staff demonstrated a high level of competence. I will definitely be making a return myself so I can take in those beautiful mountain views!!!.

While visiting the Asheville area, my sister and I decided on an adventure at The Gorge. It was exciting, fun and beautiful. Our guides, Lauren and Max, were both super positive and enthusiastic. I had a difficult time on the landings due to a bad knee and they both helped out so much. Definitely recommend!

Our zip lining tour was one of the highlights of our vacation in North Carolina. Our guides, Zif and Cory, were very professional and highly entertaining. The area is beautiful, especially at this time of year - it was a breathtaking experience and an adventure not to be missed.

Jenny, Dylan, and Garrett were our fantastic guides. They made us feel extremely capable and were great on building our confidence as we progressed along the 11 zip lines. They were patient and explained the origin of each line, speed and distance. This was a first time experience and I really appreciated Jenny when she said, I’ve got you!” as I approached the platform. I believed her and felt very safe. The views are spectacular (if you keep your eyes open!). Highly recommend!

THE BEST! <3 Kai and Kylie were my guides and they are very knowledgable, friendly, fun and made the experience so much better! They both are very outgoing, smart and when you enjoy your job- people can see it and I loved being there just as much as they :) The prices were great and reasonable and make sure to get the photo package, and bring your GoPro for videos! I would highly recommend coming here for your next adventure :))

Super great experience. It’s a long course so be prepared to be there for 4 hours. It is an amazing experience. Our tour guides Zif and Camille were very knowledgeable, experienced, fun, and most importantly very rigorous with the participants safety. They take a lot of pictures along the way that came out amazing. Thank you so much! 💯 recommended with Zif and Camille.

So amazing!! This was so exhilarating and fun!! You do not want to miss this so BOOK today don’t wait. Regardless of the weather or the weather forecast this is a family friendly outdoor adventure you can do rain or shine. The Gorge Zip line is by far one of the best and fastest zip lines in WNC. If you are afraid or scared we were too but our guides Dylan and Mason made us feel so SAFE!! They were detail oriented and so knowledgeable. They gave us clear and precise instructions that were easy to follow. Mason and Dylan were a lot of fun and very kind!!

Such a fun trip!! Jenny and Cory were a blast and helped us all feel safe. 11 Ziplines? I mean you can't get better than that. Definitely bringing the kids next time!

This was one of the best experiences we've ever had! It was thrilling, safe and we laughed a lot. The views were beautiful! We will be coming back and bringing the kids! I recommend getting the photo package! Grey and Hannah were our tour guides and kept the tour fun and interesting!

Good time for all ages! We did this last weekend and had Benny and Cam (secretly named Corey) and it was pretty fun! Lasted about 3 hours and you were zipping the whole time. I expected some physical effort but it was super easy, they do all the work for you. Lots of corny jokes, but we dig that. Definitely not as lame as South Park makes zip lining seem!!

We really enjoyed ziplining at the Gorge! I got tickets for my partner for Father's Day and we planned to come in the fall. It was gorgeous and our guides Benny and Beckie were absolutely amazing! Knowledgeable, kind, and patient with those that are a bit nervous. We can't wait to come back!

Gorgeous views and thrilling zips, we had a great time! Corey and Matthew were excellent guides on our tour. They made sure everyone was safe at all times, they were extremely knowledgeable about the area, and they were so nice. We had a lot of fun and felt safe through the entirety of our tour. The Gorge facility was awesome as well, we took advantage of the provided hot coffee and sat in a lovely heated lounge area while we waited to get harnessed up for our tour. The staff was friendly and accommodating too. We would love to visit again. 5 Stars, highly recommend!

The Gorge is definitely in my top 3 places to zipline. The views are spectacular. You get 11 zip lines, 2 repels plus my least fav. a bridge. You definitely get your money's worth. This trip our guides were Luke and Jenni. Our group consisted of 3 different families unbeknownst to each other. Ages 13-76. 76 yr old it was her bday. The guides made sure she was able to really enjoy her day and that we all got what we needed to make the trip special. Very patient and kind. Luke went out of his way to assist me with steps as I am recovering from a hip procedure. The guides went above and beyond. 5 stars does not do them any justice. I would give them a 7. They made the adventure fun for all. My sis 1st time and she was thrilled. Spending almost 4 hrs in very close conditions with strangers was never better. I am a diehard zipper and I get a thrill every time I come here.

My wife and I completed the zip line course on Friday, June 24. The check in facility was comfortable and modern without being overly about itself. Good accommodations restrooms drinks and things like that. Our guides were youthful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The course itself was very fun. We had drinks and snacks along the way provided by our guides. At the end of the trip there was a short 13 minute bus ride through several hairpin turns back to the facility. Would definitely recommend it to a friend.

We had such an awesome experience ziplining for our anniversary celebration. This was the first time we’ve ever done this but our tourguides made us feel so safe and were super hilarious. Also, the views were breathtaking and this experience gave us the adventure rush we needed. Would definitely recommend ziplining at the Gorge and shout out to our guides Malynne and Dakota!!! Y’all were awesome :)
