Based on the back story, this hotel originally opened as a motel 6, but then closed to form the country hearth inn soon after, and then that closed to form econolodge. This hotel was pretty bad and had terrible service as evidence on youtube. This place has got bed bugs, black mold, and existing stains and a crime scene on one of the mattresses from Dan Bell's video when this was a country hearth inn at the time of the recording. Don't waste your money to this hotel. You will really regret it. Better to be safer than sorry.

This place is absolutely the worst. #1 as a female you should NEVER stay here alone. There's a lot of "activities" going on outside. Not to mention, I'd booked on the hopper app. There was no mention of the "deposit" when I got here, the guy in the office said there was a deposit. I literally spent $80 on a room that wasn't worth even $50/night. Not to mention when I was finally able to get the $40 deposit, the owner came out and then said it was $100 deposit. It is honestly absolutely so ridiculous for someone trying to make it nowadays especially is this rundown hotel. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ALL TOGETHER! YOU'LL WASTE YOUR MOM.

The front desk guy was very friendly an professinal. The room was clean but very plan an very gloomy. Outside I had 3 people ask me for a ride on three different occasions. An twice some sort of fight broke out that I was scared was going to come right thru my window. Overall it was ok not worth $80 I would have said $40 would have been a. Decent price.

Worst experience in my life. Killed 5 or 6 roaches but they kept running under the bed. Door had a large gab beneath it. Dirty sofa, rusty on shelves, a certain smell to the room where you can tell it was not clean.

This place is disgusting, stay somewhere else. Let's start with I made a RSVP for a king bed...I arrive and they tell me reservations don't matter it's first come first serve and if I want to stay it's has to be a double bed room and a 10$ upcharge. I'm traveling from FL on a budget so I pay the 10$...get to the room and kill about 15 roaches before spraying odoban everywhere. It's late at night so I left all my stuff in the car and just got some sleep before leaving and I will never stay at this dump again.

Worst place ever. Should have slept in truck would have been better. Microwave had hairy growth in it. Bugs crawling around. 2 channels on TV. Paid for rooms with breakfast but they don't do breakfast.

When here a long time ago, going to clarify, the AC unit made whale sounds in the middle of the night. Could not recommend back then but, seeing as this is an old review, I'm gonna push it up to a 3. Hopefully they got better through the years, not worse.

Staff is very nice! Especially the older white gentlemen that's there alot. The beds are comfortable. But the bathtub could have been much better. For a cheap stay it's better than the motel 6 for sure thats around there. It's a bit run down but no bugs and felt safe.

I checked into ROOM 106 AND IT WAS DISGUSTING AND FOR 100 DOLLARS THAT WAS HORRIBLE. WE DIDNT STAY FOR 10 MINUTES. HOLES IN THE WALL, STAINS ON FURNITURE, AND THE TOLIET WAS MISSING PIECES. THE OWNERS ARE SCAMMERS.

I called at this location to reserve a large order for all of the talents during their stay for the film shoot and they hung up on us. This is not how business works! If you want to run a business then you should handle customers rather than being unprofessional and hang up.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL all of my things were stolen out of my room. I reported this to the front desk and to the corporate office. when I was finally able to get ahold of the hotel manager he lied and said I didn't make any reports. wasn't going to reimburse me for the stay or any of the items that were taken. because the hotel had proven to be unsafe I had to cut my vacation short and drive home in the middle of the night. the hotel manager made no attempt to follow up with me and bold-faced told me that they weren't going to help me in any way I received the worse customer service I've ever gotten from any hotel and I was stollen from and lied to.

Always remember: This is a 2-star hotel. Probably not newly renovated but my room and bathroom were okay. Bed sheets were clean, nonsmoker room, no noise from longtime renters, the owner behind the desk was friendly. I have seen much worse motels. I would stay again if I need to stop in that area

Needed a place to crash. Terrible anxiety driving on the interstate at night. Wasn't too bad, just gave off a very eerie vibe.

We got played they gave us a nice room that they remodel at the front we stayed in for 6 days on the 7th day they said they had to move us to another room cause they had to cut the water to do more repair to the room so they move us in a dirty room roaches every where went to complain they said it nothing they can do roaches all in the shower floor bed found out they lied about the water situation cause the same people that check in with us still living in the nice room when we could have stayed in nice room I be this a discrimination thing I guess the color of our skin wasn't good enough to keep on staying in nice room the put us people in nasty room with roaches so I don't recommend nobody to stay here they got our 80$ and played us by moving us to a nasty. Roaches infected room my thing if u move us from the nice room cause they so call cutting off the water to do more repair why they didn't move the rest of the people over to the roaches infected room the roaches so bad I had to keep my stuff in the car I feel like this is a discrimination thing keep your money don't stay here

Horrible customer service. Dude went through at 11 am and opened people’s doors with a master key. Double charges for the room claiming it was a deposit but our bank took it as an actual charge. I have to file charges for unauthorized transaction he also refused to provide any information or paperwork for the transaction. Expedia needs to stop having them as a option they are terrible and the gas stations near it don’t recommend going to at night time.

When we got there at 12:30 am it took the guy 20 minutes to check us in. And then said there is a 60 dollar deposit u can pay cash if u want..3 day later we left husband called on the 5th day to ask about deposit and the guy said you never stayed here...really we have proof..

The worst Choice Hotel I've stayed at, by a thousand miles. Customer service is next to nothing, there was what looked like mold on the front door frame, cigarette burns on the tub, like someone was tortured in it, I squished at least four roaches, and had a couple of tweakers run by my room late at night. This building should be condemned by the city.

Air conditioning was a joke. You couldn't set a temperature. Manager was a jerk. Dirty rooms and floors. Half filled shampoo bottles...Avoid at all costs.

Don't stay here !!!! I help my friend get the room for a whole week .This hotel have bedbugs they could not sleep the 1st night i called the next day to see if they could get moved to a different room the front office guy said "I don't have bedbugs in my hotel they probably bring the bedbugs with them" (RUDE) also when it was time to check out he did not want to give the deposit back he said that he could not find the person that check in the system took him more than then 30 minute so my friend left with no deposit . This place is nasty i would save my money !

Never again. While the folks in the front desk were nice, I was horrified when I got to the room. The absolute nastiest place I've ever been, completely unsafe. Cigarette burns all over the sink and bathtub, blood on the walls, roaches everywhere, mold in the corners, the fridge was hot and even after changing the setting it never got cold. The most horrifying and disgusting place I've ever been in my life.

I understand it is a lower level type of a sleeping quarters but I think the TV should work a d the outside door shouldn't be broken.

No , false advertising, says 48.00 but call them and it’s 80 and a 50 dollar deposit??? I can stay at a nice hotel for less than that ! Never will I call them again !

Very rude manager. really needs to get shut down. He agreed to let me stay and work there. Well I am a slow learner and it was my first day. I was trying. He is short tempered and rude. He owes me money for the day I worked there. Also has a discriminatory policy he explained to me that anyone in Greenville area, put in the “crackhead” rooms.

It isn’t a bad place for the price. The front desk was helpful, but the room they gave me wasn’t clean. Bed sheets all torn off garbage on the ground. I told the front desk and he made me take him there to show him, trusting me would have been nice. Either way, they changed my room no problem and the room is decent. Especially for the price. Bed is a little worn, but better than some.

If you're looking for a cheap hotel to lay your head down this is reasonable. It's not in the best part of town, though easily accessible to the interstate. They did have a vending machine on site as well as an accessible washing machine & dryer. They gave us a handicapped room to which was fine. Not all Econo Lodges are the same. ~
