Best hotdogs in the South! Get them “all the way” with chili, mustard, and onions!

There’s a reason why Holmes Hotdogs has survived for 70 years, and is still going strong today. My grandparents, mother, and I have all loved the experience over the years and the quality that Holmes provides. Definitely worth the visit. Great hotdogs and fries!

Hotdogs and fries were good but not so much for the coleslaw. It was clean and I loved the old drink boxes and the snack machine. But it was so hot in there. Almost 90 outside and it had to be nearly 80 inside. It shouldn't have been like that. Super nice people that work there. Very nice to see

The new owners are wonderful. Very nice people good food outdoor dining under the shade tree all around great experience especially when you pull in at closing time and still get served. Southern Hospitallity at its finest. Thank you all for the great service

Our favorite lunch spot in Spartanburg. Any time we are passing through town we jump off of the Interstate for a quick stop at Holmes Hotdogs. The dogs are great, and the fries are hot and crispy. The staff is friendly and efficient. They get your order right every time, and deliver it with a smile. I wish they were open for dinner!

One of the nicest customer service I have ever experienced. That's first, the food (only had hot dog and sausage dog with fries) was great. I'd recommend the sausage dog over the hot dog 100%, keep in mind that it will take like 5 minutes more compared to a hot dog order.

This place is AMAZING! Who knew something so simple could hit just the right spot! Space is limited but so worth it! And remember in tight spaces, try and keep all germs to yourself.

The grand kids loved it for their first time and want to go back . Been going there since the 80's and thought why not give them a shot and it was a good idea for lunch THANKS HOLMES

Great spot and awesome history. I got the two sausage dog special. It comes with a drink, fries and coleslaw. The total was about $14 including tax.

First time here, atmosphere is wonderfully aged. The staff was very pleasant and nice. Hotdogs definitely hit the spot and couldn’t go wrong with a glass bottle cheerwine as well. Will be back again!!

The staff are the true gems. Always with a hello and remember me. Chilli not as spicy as Ricky's but the bologna sandwich is great.

I work close by and recently visited here since I heard it was similar to another well known hot dog place in Greenville. From the moment I walked in I was in love with the indside decor. I'm a big fan of vintage metal signs and memorabilia so all the Coca-Cola and different branded stuff was really cool. The hot dogs with chili and cheese basket was really good. I also got a corn dog which was state fair quality or maybe better. It was battered and fried to order and came out steaming hot. One of the best corn dogs I've had. All of the ladies working behind the counter were very friendly and nice as well. Definitely a very welcoming environment. I will be coming here a lot more on lunch breaks!!

Good Hotdogs! I had plain hot dogs and they were really good...even without toppings. Good sweet too. Servers are nice and you receive your food fast. Really nice down south/country feel to the place

Ive been eating here since I was a small kid, and that has been a long time. They haven't changed, the food has aleays been great, smiling faces when you go in, quick service. Just like going home for me. Brings back a lot of memories, but if you like hot dogs, you cant go wrong.

The food was aahhhmazing!! I'm pretty sure that was the most delicious hotdog I have ever eaten and the coleslaw was very good. The people who work there are very friendly all with smiles on their face. I will be back as much as possible!!

It's been a while since I've been to Holmes Hotdogs. 🌭 I was in the area so I stopped by. As soon as I walked in and Rob the owner spotted me and nodded and whispered "sausage dog" and I nodded yes with the biggest smile on my face. With fries fried soft just like I like them. And I usually get a slice of lemon 🍋 cake but today they also had strawberry 🍓 so I got a slice of both.🥰

Being new to South Carolina, my partner brought me here for some good old fashion hotdogs in the area. Generations of his family have been going here for years and it was my turn to experience it. Never heard of Cheer Wine until I walked into this place. Hands down the BEST hotdog place I have ever been too. At times there is a bit of a wait, but you can't help it when business is booming, service is OVER the top, and they make you feel like family! I don't understand why someone would write a bad review about this place. It's all about the hospitality, and good old-fashioned food.
