The
OR
nurses/staff
did
an
excellent
job
taking
the
best
care
of
my
baby
and
I.
I
will
say
they
had
over
flow
of
other
non-postpartum
on
that
floor
which
was
taking
away
from
the
nurses/staffs
ability
to
take
care
of
their
postpartum
patients.
These
were
very
needy
patients
that
could
not
take
care
of
themselves
and
needed
a
lot
of
attention
that
was
placed
on
the
floor.
I
had
a
C-Section
and
was
very
nauseated
and
throwing
up,
it
took
my
nurse
over
a
hour
to
bring
nausea
meds
because
she
was
in
the
middle
of
discharging
a
patient.
Meanwhile,
throwing
up
after
having
a
major
surgery
was
the
WORST.
The
new
nursery
regulations,
I
do
not
agree
with.
The
same
night
that
I
was
very
sick,
we
called
the
nursery
to
see
if
we
could
take
our
baby
to
the
nursery
so
my
husband
could
help
take
care
of
me
since
the
nurses
was
under
staffed
it
seemed
and
the
nursery
was
also
understaffed
and
the
nurse
whom
I
spoke
with
told
me
all
the
other
nurses
was
out
on
the
floor
doing
assessments
and
she
could
not
come
get
the
baby
since
she
was
the
only
one
in
the
nursery
at
the
time,
when
I
told
her
I
was
very
sick
and
my
husband
could
bring
him
to
the
nursery,
she
seemed
very
annoyed.
After
having
a
major
surgery
or
even
a
mother
who
just
went
through
having
a
long
delivery,
I
feel
rest
is
needed.
We
kept
him
in
the
room
the
next
night
and
it
was
awful.
Not
only
were
they
coming
to
check
my
vitals
and
getting
labs
and
such
they
were
also
coming
in
to
check
my
baby
so
we
got
zero
rest.
We
could
not
wait
to
get
home
to
finally
get
rest
and
have
support
from
family.
Some
people
do
not
have
this
support
when
they
get
home
and
I
can
not
imagine
the
sleep
deprivation
they
are
going
through,
which
is
not
good
for
postpartum
depression.
I
had
my
oldest
son
5
years
ago
at
Flowers
and
it
was
the
best
experience,
this
time
around,
was
not
an
experience
I
want
to
go
through
again.
I
do
not
blame
the
staff
or
nurses,
they
are
doing
their
best
but
something
has
to
give
for
patient
care,
which
should
be
a
priority.
