I’ve taken my kitten to Caputo Animal Hospital 3 times now. And three different vets saw her and I would say I liked Dr. Arman the most just because he was very detailed about explaining things which was different from the other visits. He explained What’s good for her and what’s not, and her food and other things as well. Overall, the experience was great considering that it’s my first pet and my first vet experience.

Went to this vet for years, but they're awful ever since the new owners took over. They turned away my cat for a *severe* eye infection and refused to prescribe antibiotics (which she has had before) until they could see her in person ($$$), which they said wasn't possible for 5-6 weeks. They refused to make any exception for this urgent matter. For the next week I scrambled to find her help elsewhere, and thanks to this vet clinic's lack of logic and compassion, that delay destroyed my poor cat's eye beyond repair. I'm **furious** at these monsters.

Wonderful staff and doctors. However, if you want to save money this is NOT the place you want to take your fur pal. I take my aging dog to West Warren Veterinary and receive the same professionalism but for a lesser price. Five stars for professionalism and 3 stars for price.

a year ago when i first adopted my dog from a shelter he was 29lbs (07MAY2022), he was so sick with kennel couch he would barely eat maybe once a day, he lost 2 pounds in less than a week down to 27lbs (13MAY2022). Today my dog was 38 pounds, the vet told me that the last time he visited he was 25 pounds (inaccurate, he has never had a weigh in that low at Ford Caputo) and that he should lose 10 pounds. Thoroughly unprofessional advice to suggest that an otherwise healthy and happy animal (we walk 3+ miles a day) should lose a quarter of his body weight based in inaccurate information. I will be finding another veterinarian to take care of my dog ASAP. The staff is otherwise nice/timely

Once Dr. Caputo sold his practice 3 years ago to Midwest veterinary practice the professionalism disappeared. It's all about the money. I took my dog to be euthanized on 9/1/2020 and the woman vet tech on duty treated my dog and us very poorly and giggled as he was laying on table. We were clients there for over 20 years but no more.

Took my 15 yr old Chihuahua in without a scheduled appointment and was able to be seen by the doctor. So grateful for that. The staff was great, concerned, and made me and my pet feel comfortable. Great pet care!!

They were not my primary vet but when my cat had an emergency they fit me in that morning. I was so thankful. My normal vet couldn't get me in for two weeks. Suffice it to say I have found my new vet.

Called here for an emergency appointment. The lady on the phone was so kind and took the time to direct me to emergency veterinarians in the area. She explained to me how some of them have long wait times. Suggested which ones might be the best for me at the time. I really appreciated her kindness and her empathy for my animal. That's the kind of people that need to be working in customer service. I wish this woman could teach other people this kind of work ethic. Great job!!

Dr..Pete is great. The whole staff is very friendly and attentive. I have been taking my dog there for years. I wouldn't trust him with anyone else.

These people are always great. I took my 2 kitties and they made sure I was in a exam room right away so they didn't get stressed out from the dogs. They do have a waiting room just for cats but they go the extra mile. Speaking if the extra mile. When Max my 210 lb English Mastiff suddenly became unable to walk or even get up on a holiday no less.... these wonderful compassionate people came to my home. Unfortunately my Max's problem could not be helped. He was put to sleep at my home. They cried with me

Ford Caputo animal hospital takes excellent care of your pet. I was satisfied each and every time my dog had an appointment. All my questions and concerns were answered/explained. Kelly Simmons DVM is a excellent vet, she gives the best shots my dog never once made a sound when he was given his shots my dog was 1.62 lb until now he is 3.64 lb just had the last shot for the year. She calmed my nerves cuz I was a little nervous, in so doing she gave me answers to provide the best care for my little guy BJ. To end Ford Caputo animal hospital is a 10 in my book.

My sweet Old man, Axle, is 14 & came 2 me from a GSD Rescue abused, neglected w/ serious allergies & skin infections. Since moving, it's been so hard 2 find a Vet. Either the staff was rude & impatient, the Vet was a total A-hole or they'd ignore me & the Axle's medical history/past records only 2 suggest $800+ tests. We finally found long-term help @ Caputo Animal Hospital! The Vet, Techs & Front desk ladies are all kind & helpful. Were met curbside by Tech (very sweet lady) 2 took Axle in while I waited outside & they called several times to update me. Doc was beyond great! Calling & talking 2 me for at least 20 mins. Knowledgeable & efficient. Explaining, listening & re-explaining things 2 me. Prescribed minimal meds & suggested Natural, cost effective & long-term remedies. The actual cost of the vet visit, 2 scripts, prescription shampoo was incredibly affordable! We'll definitely be returning whenever necessary!

I am increasing my star ranking because things have definitely improved. I started going to Caputo over 13 years ago when I adopted my first dog, Zeppelin. The staff has always been kind and showed interest in my babies, which I love. One thing that has concerned me over the years is the frequent turnover in doctors. Just when you build a relationship with one it seemed like they were gone the next week to practice at a new clinic. I like having a relationship with my dogs’ doctor and them to know and remember my babies. They have recently changed names to Ford Caputo Animal Hospital and moved to a new facility just a little bit down the road. I am glad they are still close but I am concerned by an increase in treatment with the new facility.

Took my Poppysauraus there due to a leg injury. The new building is beautiful and everyone was so nice and caring. They took very good care of her today. Very impressed. I now have a new Vet.

Dexter recently had surgery done at the Ford Road Animal Clinic. Dr. Peet and the entire staff were wonderful! All of my concerns and questions were answered thoroughly and I felt very at ease with Dexter having the surgery. Highly recommend!

We were referred here by another customer more than 10 years ago. Have taken at least 4 of our cats and dogs here over the years. They always remember who the pet is and things that they like. I have never been pressured into having unnecessary test done nor have I felt judged if we choose not to take extra measures.

I recently cut my poor Himalayan while I was attempting to remove mats with groomer's buzzers. It was an emergency and I was lucky enough to call during an opening. She required sutures and they were done beautifully. Some more cost effective solutions were discussed and they provided quotes all along the way. Every single member of their staff made me feel better after this ordeal. They even pretended to not see me tearing up over it. So I'll forever love them for that. If you're hesitating or uncertain--bring your baby here. They'll be in good hands.

Our pets were clients of Ford Road Animal Clinic, Inc. for over 10 years. For the most part I was very satisfied with their health care for El Guapo (dog) and Jax (cat). The last transaction with them was the one that drove my family my to switch to another veterinary clinic. It made think that maybe they overcharged me over the years. We never questioned the prices, because we trusted them to give us excellent service and prices. El Guapo has problems with his liver and requires special medication (Denamarin). On or about October 1, we picked up his medicine and paid for it ($83.45). Once we got home, we noticed that the bill was a bit more than what it was before but did not think too much of it. I assumed that maybe they got 2 boxes for us since it’s a hard medication to find or because of the shortage of the medicine. It was when we opened the bag and found only 1 box. I went back to my records and noticed that other times we were charged much less. Then, I remembered that one previous time I bought the same medicine on their online pharmacy and decided to just check. I logged into their online pharmacy and found the exact same medicine at almost 40% less, they had it listed for $46.95. I sent them an email on October 1, hoping they would reach out to me about the discrepancy, waited for 10 days and did not get a response. On October 11, 2021, I emailed them again and did not hear back from them. After 10 years of what I thought was good service, I was forced to find another veterinary clinic for my pets. Now I wonder if they overcharged me over the years?!

I am amazed by the cleanliness of the place, you can't tell it's a veterinary, looks and smells better than a lot of human medical buildings. I take my 5 maine coons there, and I highly recommend everyone to try.

First time here! Julia, the receptionist was so sweet and kind. She ensured my pup would be safe and she was just friendly, all around. Dr. Peet was extremely informative and personable. I immediately felt comfortable and knew my dog, Charlie, would be in great hands. My dog was only there maybe 30 minutes which was extremely timely. I will be taking him here from now on! I got a covid puppy and she had to go in without me at the start of her life. Now at almost 3, she runs into the vet. She loves this place and the staff in here. They have taken great care of her and other dogs in my family with great care and compassion.

Brought my special needs kitty here after many disappointing experiences from a different vet, needless to say I regret nothing! Antibiotics were prescribed on the first visit and a lot of questions were asked so that they could get a better handle of the situation. Very satisfied with this first impression. :)

I have been taking my pets to Ford Road Animal Clinic for 38 years. The service is friendly and the staff shows genuine care for our pets. Over the years this has included 2 dogs, a bunny, 2 hamsters and a cat. When we had our dogs, Dr Lapshan was the main vet we would see. When we got our cat, my appointment was with Dr. Peet. My family loves her! When we brought him in for the first time, she just gushed over him. Made me feel like a proud new mama. Since this is our first cat, she took the time to answer all of our questions. I have never thought about going to another animal clinic. Good caring people from the front desk to the technicians to the doctors!

I’ve been coming here for a year now for my Yorkie and I love how they take the time to hear my concerns and they’re so knowable. They even take the time to answer questions over the phone, and in my experience that’s a first. I just took my new puppy (a very shy Cane Corso) and she was so comfortable and happy with the doctors. So I just want to take the time to thank them so much for having us a part of their family ❤️

Updating my review to 3 stars I received 2 prescriptions I submitted both the chewy and they sat in their portal for 4 days without being approved. I kept calling the vet and was told that all the vets that can do approval were out of the office. My dog can't wait to start his antibiotics because I don't want his infection to get worse. I eventually just gave up and went to 3 different pharmacies until I could get them filled. Absolutely ridiculous. Wow I'm so impressed - thank you so much. Nero was so happy and calm there. If he's happy I'm happy. Very reasonable, no long wait times....followed up the next day with another prescription. Thank you for caring for my high maintenance boy!

My puppy was scared in the waiting so they quickly brought me into a room so he’d feel secure!! The tech came in maybe 2 or 3 minutes later and after she was done the doc came right in!! So fast and friendly service!!

I can not say enough amazing things about the staff at Ford Caputo. I've been bringing my dog Dublin & cat Cleatus there for almost 3 years now and they've always been very sweet with both my pets. This past week, I brought Cleatus in after he wasn't eating or drinking for two days and was told it was time to let him go. This was very unexpected, so of course I was extremely emotional. Each and every staff member was so comforting and reassuring with me. They really made a difficult and traumatic experience a little bit easier and I truly appreciate everything they did for us. Special shoutout to Dr. Schurr who even mailed a hand written card expressing condolences and reassuring me once again. I would highly HIGHLY recommend this business and it's staff to anyone who will listen.

Our very first visit there (2yrs ago) was very good. Every other visit has been awful. They came highly recommended. I read all the reviews. No one there seems to know what they're doing anymore. Its very hard to trust someone with your pets when they're constantly making mistakes. I kept going back because I was willing to overlook some of the small things. Everyone has a bad day every once in a while. They apologized and apologized. Stop apologizing and fix things. I'm a patient person. I don't mind spending money for good care. I just don't think anyone there cares anymore.

Carside service was efficient and quick

these folks have the right equipment to handle my aggressive cat without putting him under stress! since we had to wait in the parking lot for the visit because of covid, we just communicated over the phone. i was called for every update and to answer any questions they had for me. they were very kind and informative. it was my first time there since theyre a bit far from me but they are worth the trek

It's good they seem to care about their animals

Visited them twice so far since I got my puppy three weeks ago. Their customer service is on point! The receptionist and technicians are really friendly and nice. The doctors are extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The doctor will not try to sell you or pressure you into anything. She was very honest and straightforward. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and gave me all the recommendations and advice that I asked for. I will definitely be coming back here for any of my puppy's needs.

It does seem like their over concerned about covid climate. But my service rating is 5 because it appears they really care and did get right to the problem

I was very impressed how well they trimmed my senior dog’s nails. And a good price I will take her there again just for nail trimming. Very nice staff also.

My dog had been rejected for spading surgery due to weight size (over 55 pounds) from mine and other vets. Caputo was able to get my dog scheduled for surgery in less than 3 weeks (given covid19 others were scheduling 3 months out). Day of her surgery the nurses were great, explained everything to me, called once she was done & told me how it went. She was ready by the afternoon for pickup. A week later she had some discoloration around the incision and they were kind enough to get her in that day and looked at her for no additional cost! I highly recommend using Caputo. I switched vets just based on this experience.

I had worked myself in to a wreck for weeks prior to my previous vet visits (another local vet), all over issues that easily could have been handled differently at a great comfort, and relief to me, and more importantly my dog.. I've been taking my cats here for years and always have a great experience. The vets and staff are compassionate, knowledgeable and friendly. I'm especially impressed with the proactive measures taken during the pandemic by offering curbside services. I definitely recommend this animal hospital to anyone with pets in the area.

Caputo's is a wonderful hospital. They have serviced my dog on several occasions. My dog is much better.

When I was desperate for someone to see my fur baby, no one would, but Caputo did. Everyone I spoke with was so compassionate and patient when I was a mess. They took the time to explain to me what was going on. I couldn't thank them enough. They have a loyal customer in me for as long as I have pets.

It's the first time I get a pet. I'm glad I chose them as my first place. It was a great experience. They taught me a lot, gave me all the necessary tips to raise a healthy cat, and provided extra resources for me to check whenever needed. Doctor and Technicians were all super friendly and nice! They even treated my cat with a tick and flea ointment that was fully effective in 24 hours, without charge. Highly recommended.

Never going back there again

Came her for the first time with my rescue dog after my normal vet closed due to covid. We also were looking for a vet that was closer to us anyway and were recommended Caputo Animal Hospital by a few acquaintances. We are definitely here to stay! I was so impressed by the professionalism and patience of all the staff. The vet spoke on the phone with me and answered any questions I had. There was minimal wait time and the costs were totally reasonable too. So happy with our experience!
