Delicious pizza and ribs!! Can’t get enough! Quick service and will definitely repeat..highly recommended! 😋😋

I am a less than a mile away and although they deliver they won’t deliver to my address “after dark”. Business bordering Detroit that don’t want to service Detroit residents/residences need some sort of disclosure.

My wife's favorite pizza and pasta. That's saying a lot, coming from an Italian familia! Also, if you're next door having a drink, Mama Rosa's is their kitchen. Don't hesitate to order a fine dinner. It'll be right over.

Their pizza is excellent. Great sauce and crust with a reasonable amount of toppings (meaning, they don’t overdo it or skimp—it’s just right).

Pizza and wings were good. Loved the fried mushrooms! Delivery took about 25 min which was great. I will definitely be ordering again!

I ordered take out from here. The pizza was good and the prices were fair. Currently, they don't have the staff to support dining in (which is a problem everywhere), but the staff member who greeted me was very cordial.

First of all I know a lot about pizza. I see a lot of other reviewers on here and I can tell they have not eaten as many pizzas as I have. I order carry out from Mama Rosas every week. You might be thinking “hey man, you are eating too many pizzas.” Maybe I am, maybe I’m not. My doctor says my BMI is excellent. Point is, if anyone knows about Pizza it’s me, and Mama Rosas is good. Much better than chain pizzerias. The people that work there are also nice and will remember your name if you go there every week like I do. I don’t really care that they don’t do dine in. They haven’t done it for like 3 years. I’m trying to eat pizzas at home anyways. Technically you can cheat the system and buy a pizza there and it in the parking lot. One thing I will note is that occasionally the pizza has a little more flop to it than I’d like, but it’s never too floppy. Ideally when you hold the pizza by the crust the slide will hold its self up when folded. Not always the case. The crust is pretty thin, but makes for a solid base. Cheese and sauce and toppings are good. No funky taste to anything. They take Apple Pay which you may not have expected.

I've been going here, since I was child for pizza...but now, it's the only place I get my Veal Parmesan 😋 I love everything about this place💐

We arrived at this restaurant for lunch. we heard about this spot from a lot of people. Well, it was a winning. The staff members were very polite and we had a fantastic feeling. The meal was great. We had a great time and we shall absolutely come back again. Warmly recommended.

It was ok I had the jumbo shrimp they were good just a little oily but everything else was delicious they need to practice making garlic bread

This is a classic family owned neighborhood 5 star restaurant. You feel the neighborhood love as soon as you walk in. Great food and excellent service.

Sorry but not the best pizza the dough is skinny and flat the crust is no crust I like fluffy crushed cheese wasn't that great and pizza wasn't that great I've had better frozen pizzas sorry pick up your game up a little step it up

Been a customer for 30+ years. I'm disappointed that there is no dine in. I get it, help is hard to find. But I did recently come down for a carry out order. (I currently live 30 minutes north of the restaurant). I'm sad to say that half of my order was incorrect. And not really sure what's going on with the pizza. It was almost like I received a thin crust, it was over cooked and just not good. Hopefully next time, it will be as good as it once was.

The spaghetti with meat sauce was delicious. I wasn't a fan of the meatballs. They tasted similar to the meat inside of the Chef Boyardee canned pasta. Wing dinner (wing dings not whole wings) was good, but very small. No complaints about the Greek salad. I was especially happy that it came with regular Greek dressing and not the creamy pink one. I forgot to snap a pic of the current menu, but add about $5 to the cost shown in the pic someone posted 3 years ago.

Not a bad place to grab a pizza, but it would not be my first choice for what it cost.

A classic joint! Never had a bad time at Mama's! Their pizza is always fresh and funky, although it was even better when the restaurant had dine in options. They also have incredible ribs and salad, servers are always nice and I always get my food in good time. Would be 5 stars if they brought back the dine in experience but alas...

The pizza is great I eat this at least once a week with my work group, but we had ordered the lasagna with our order because it was so good the last time we had it , but it tasted completely different this time around.. did we change the ingredients? 😬 let’s go back to it please

Great standby for old world pizza in Grosse Pointe/Detroit. Get the sesame seed crust. Yes to Mama bread! Request: don't turn the oven so hot on busy days! Burned the bottom of my pizza on Halloween but first time I ever had an issue in 20+ years

WORST PIZZA DISPLAY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I ordered a bbq chicken small square pizza and when I picked it up, I opened the box and expressed to the waitress, calmly, that I only saw about 5 pieces of chicken on the entire pizza. The waitress said, “no that’s how it’s made, I know they made it right because they make good pizzas”. I said “ma’am, there’s not even a piece of chicken on each slice, can they just remake it?” She told me that she can just cancel it, but it’s made right and next time just order double chicken. She did not cancel the order and I’m very disappointed.

Went in on 6-12-2020 at 9:15 pm asked the lady to add one more oreo pie to my order was told it would be 15 to 20 minutes before I could get the additional slice but the person b4 me asked for a couple of things and she had no problem getting it for him I felt that the color of my skin was the reason that I was told to wait the pizza toke 20 minutes why would it take that long for a pice of pie

I grew up in Grosse Pointe. There are three restaurants I visit when I’m home: Coney Island (which has become a chain, and a sad reflection of its former glory), Buddy’s Pizza, and Mamma Roses. MR is a perfect blend of conventional pizza and Detroit style richness. Doughy, flavorful and satisfying. It’s like crack. I’d eat it every night. Do yourself a favor and try their pizza. I wish I could right now,
