The rude person on the phone everybody comments about is actually Maria, the doctor (if you can call that as such). She booked my brother's appointment at 9AM along with 3 other people and we were all sitting there waiting, we got there on time which resulted in me waiting over 1.5 hours for a 5 minute consultation to get what we came in for. This doctor is border line psycothic, she was wearing a 10 year old robe and while we were there she spoke to some other patient over the phone in the least professional manner I could imagine. The place is disgusting, she has two dogs running around the office. Do yourself a favor and find another place to get your immigration shots/paperwork.

Visited this office in Pine Hills on North Pine Hills rd 2 years ago for immigration medical exams and vaccinations. Woman at front desk was horribly rude, unhelpful, disrespectful and unprofessional! We got through the exams and vaccinations but we never wanted to go back. Unfortunately, that office has records that we need copies of so I had to call and try to get copies. Same woman answering the calls and just as rude as 2 years ago. She’s very vague about any and all information. I figured that there would be a charge for the copies but when I asked how much she said that I will need to call back tomorrow and she will tell me, then hung up the phone on me. Now I have to deal with her tomorrow. This office seems very shady. They seem to only be open or available whenever they want and will charge you whatever prices they want. If you Google they’re address in Google maps, it doesn’t even have Dr Maria Hernandez name as a business or on the sign on the building in the photo. 1317 North Pine Hills rd.

Maria has the wonderful Latin American family charm and a depth of experience only gained from a lifetime in the medical profession. She has the character similar to a dry humored military doctor. She is efficient and quick and good at getting to the heart of the matter. She completed all medical tasks efficiently and took on the burden of paperwork for us which was completed to a high standard. Her 'matron-style' approach is refreshing in a world of nannying and half truths. I would highly recommend Maria based on her direct yet relaxed approach. I have high confidence in her medical abilities and experience. The therapeutic small dog was adorable and a nice touch and should make any visitor feel at ease. She outsources lab testing such as blood tests, which may require a short drive to another location if lab testing is needed. She was flexible and asked us to call by another day at our convenience to finish her conclusions once the lab test results were back. Lab testing is a weak point in Florida and certainly not the fault of the doctors in the area. I would imagine that those who marked her down failed to see her character for what it is and instead confused a direct approach with being rude. That isn't the case. Maybe those people would be better off having smoke blown up their proverbial instead of seeing a doctor. Maybe I grew up in a different generation - some who I observed visiting could use some manners such as 'Good Morning Doctor / Maria' instead of being demanding, b*tt hurt and acting like spoilt divas. If she tells you you're fat - you probably are ! Take the advice and do something about it.

I’m not the type of person to write reviews, but I wanted to warn any other new potential patients calling this office. The conversation I had was so off-putting that I am going to switch my PCP. The receptionist / woman who picked up the phone was ABSOLUTELY awful. I haven’t gotten to see this doctor since my insurance switched, so I as calling for a first-time visit, and mentioned I was going to need a referral from Dr. Hernandez to see a specialist, as told by my OBGYN. I then was screamed at over the phone and told that “a patient can’t get a referral just because they want one” when I calmly explained 3 times that I need a referral to see a specialist from my primary care doctor as told by my OBGYN. Unfortunate that I didn’t even get to meet the doctor. I cannot speak on a review about the doctor, but as for the woman who screamed at me over the phone, don’t work in healthcare if you don’t know how to properly communicate.

I am very much satisfied with Dr Hernandez's service. She is extremely knowledgeable and caring. Her knowledge expends to the most updated immigration requirements and regulations! If you read the negative comments, they are un-related or miss-understood, and I disagree with all of them. Dr Hernandez was very patient with me and my family, she was opened for all of our questions, and explained everything - including immigration requirements. I highly recommend her to everybody, and I will come back for all my annuals.

okay, I wish I had read the reviews before visiting this office. this lady is TERRIBLE and I am trying to get her reported. NO! you do NOT provide health care in this manner! I went there for my school physical (I didn't know better) I asked her the price for school physicals and she stated 75 dollars. I paid her the 75 dollars on that day and she had all my blood works and EVERYTHING! she then wrote me to get more blood work done which I stated to her that I am anemic and I did a whole blood test in my home country. I called the school to find out if I really needed to do this blood test and they said no, only a simple physical. anyway, I still did the blood test because I already paid that 75, right? well guess what? on the day, she wanted me to pay ANOTHER 75 dollars to read the results to me that I already knew!! listen! at this time I was livid! cos what???? I already know that I am anemic but apparently you wanted to know so that you could sign off on me being healthy or not. she then stated that she have to tell me what's on the report. I tried explaining to her that I already know what's on it because I am aware of my anemia and I am taking medication for it. she demanded me to pay or go elsewhere but I ALREADY PAID THE FIRST TIME!! anyway, at this time I just couldnt be bothered as i really needed that signature. I just paid her the money. guess what she wrote? she thinks that I am okay to continue with my education as a nursing student. OFCOURSE!!! you did not need that anemia blood test because we already knew I was anemic! you already knew i was anemic. other than that, she shouts at people, has a few dogs in the office (I love dog but c'mon, this is a drs office where people comes with allergies) . please, do NOT waste your time and I will definitely report her to officials. you don't work in these places and be a horrible person! even if she took "consultation fee" shouldn't she state these things? but she did not, I asked: how much for physical? she stated: 75 dollars. YOU ARE A SCAM! DO BETTER!

DO NOT GO HERE, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Hours of operation posted: Mon-Fri, 8a-5p and after driving 70 miles, arriving at 2pm, the office is CLOSED! Called the "Doctor" on the phone, and she said she has another job and she only works until noon Mon-Fri. I suggested she change her sign and business card to reflect her ACTUAL hours to avoid driving long distances only to find the office closed, she raised her voice angry at me for such a suggestion and said she wouldn't do that. Very Unprofessional if you ask me. She's got at least one dog that has free roam of the building. It's a small dog but I would consider that UNSANITARY! We came here for an Immigration Physical and we got an education in how NOT to run a Doctor's Office.

If it's true, don't go to that clinic. I went for the first time and I had a bad experience. I paid $375 for some tests. He told me that he will call you to find out the results and he doesn't want to give them to me. He wants me to make an appointment but his clinic is very dirty. He has the dogs in your office that seems unhygienic to me Why do the dogs climb where the patient lies and in her chair where she sits there the dogs walk and the dogs look at her feet... DO NOT GO THERE
