July 14, 3023. I called to cancel my appointment 2 plus hours ago and of course I had to leave a voicemail message. Thousands of people call daily, so I have not heard back obviously. Hopefully the voicemails are getting fixed and my message is heard. 🤞🤞 July 13, 2023 Thursday. Oh my God, I’ve been waiting over 2 days about a refill prescription, from Dr. Falkenstein, that I called and left a message about and also CVS Pharmacy has tried to get a refill. I just called again and was on hold for 15 minutes and hung up to type this. This office is a nightmare. Why? Why management? What is the problem Doctors and management? Why can’t a patient get help and talk to a person within 3 days? Why ? So I call back around 11:15 am. Again Gabby answers the phone. I said you put me on hold for 20 minutes and she laughs, so since you can’t help me I need to leave a message for Dr. Falkenstein. Gabby then can help me. Wow! SO people, do not leave a message for a prescription refill!! They will not call you back!! They will not refill the medication!! They will not help you!! It’s a lie!! Do not leave a message! So she tells me I need to see the doctor. The doctor needs money for an office visit as it’s been 4 months since I saw him. So again I type this as I am on hold for 15 minutes to make an appointment. Gabby refused to help me with making an appointment. She wanted me to be on hold another at least 20 minutes which I was before I hung up. Not nice in my opinion. I did get a call back from a lady who made my appointment. Nothing but excuses about the voicemail system and they are working on it. I don’t believe it. Its employees who sit and do not work. They don’t return calls, they put you on hold and they relax while you stress. It’s inexcusable. If you have to be on hold for 10-20 minutes PLEASE stop the horrific busy music. Thank you. Trying another extension after a long hold. So desperate to talk to the Manager so I can get the correct phone # to schedule gel delivery. I’ll keep trying for another hour :( I wish Alma would call me back but she won’t or anyone else in her dept. :(

The front desk is lazy. The portal has no information in it and it’s difficult to sign up for it. The physical therapy they sent me to did not take my insurance and OSS did not find a doctor that would.

I was referred by my doctor to the orthopaedic surgery specialists due to my back and knee injuries. The first two times I came the doctors for my back and knee treated me very nice. But after I had my next appointment both doctors the knee and back specialist has not been very nice . I try to understand my MRI results and the doctor didn't even explain anything to me . He just said am going to have you get some blood work that's all he said . As if that will explain my injuries. there's a lady who works there she's a medical assistant and she was so rude. She has blonde hair and wears glasses . I ask her if she could open the door for me since it's hard to push the door due to my back pain. She had an attitude and even rolled her eyes at me. The front desk ladies are rude too. There is only one that treat you with respect. But the rest are rude. One last thing if you plan to make an appointment they never keep the appointment they change it without you knowing. Very unprofessional

Referring to forearm injuries and the experience provided by Dr Raymond Raven: If you're looking for a team to sell you on your need for surgery before ignoring you and only treating your chart, you're in the right place. If you're looking for a physician to treat *you* as a human being deserving of more than a 120 second follow up that includes dismissing all of your concerns as being invalid, and when challenged instructs you to get a second opinion from another physician, you would be wise to go somewhere else. I've had multiple fractures repaired surgically here, and I regret that whole heartedly. Most recently I had to follow up with another orthopaedic surgeon to fix the very imperfect hack job repair the physicians at OSS refer to as a great outcome. Learn from my mistake. They made everything so easy. The process, including upfront costs, were explained to me on the phone when I scheduled my appointment. Once I arrived, everyone was nice and professional. They got me in and out quickly without ever feeling rushed.

I would like to personally thank the OSS for their willingness to help in a difficult situation. My dear friend Pamela was having some issues and needed to see them for a consultation and visit..... In dealing with the process, the were considerate of her needs and helped where they could. Specifically Ruby (in accounts) went out of her way to assist. Thank you for your help!!!! :)

From the moment I walked into OSS I felt like I was being cared for in a very personal way. The office staff, the doctor's assistants and of course Dr Falkinstein and Dr Moses were so caring as if I was their only patient. I will surely recommend OSS to my family and friends.

I'm extremely happy with the level of care, knowledge, and professionalism I received while visiting Orthopaedic Surgery Specialists. I was in extreme pain and they were able to treat me as a walk-in. I was able to see a PA named Omar. He quickly diagnosed my problem after a consultation and taking an x-ray. He quickly provided his recommended treatment plan, which I'm currently following with good results. I would not hesitate to use this practice in the future.

Omar is just the best. He has kept my knee functioning for years, and now helped my husband with an emergency injury. Kind, compassionate and knowledgeable, he's a true professional.

To be perfectly honest, when I first walked in to this office, I was ready to bail. It was jam packed full of people and resembled the DMV. But when I handed the sweet woman my paperwork and ID, she was so friendly, and my name was called almost immediately. I was home within the hour, and that included 2 X-rays and a thorough doctor visit. I felt seen and heard, and left with no question unanswered. I felt like everyone who saw me cared about my well being. I would definitely recommend this office.

Visited OSS yesterday very pleasant Check in was a breeze, one of the ladies at front desk had a patient that was complaining about every thing that was requested , but the young lady stayed calm and very professional . I was called back to Xray promptly by someone friendly and made me feel like i was the only patient, no words spoken by technician, but that’s ok Returned to lobby once again I was called back to see Dr Moses. Waited just a few moments til I saw Dr Moses, very informative and he listened. I realize the doctors see so many patients back to back but made me feel unique like he does all patients I’m sure. Dr Moses was very knowledgeable Dr Moses was able to address issue with trigger finger and supply relief all in one visit!! Amazing Check out desk again so polite and so professional Highly recommend OSS Medical Practice Staff are your greatest asset ! OSS is very lucky to have such fantastic staff. I came to this clinic to have a ganglion cyst removed after having a failed surgery that left me with a nasty scar. After doing my own research online I found Dr. Raven who is a hand and upper limb specialist. Our appointment together he gave me all the information needed to make the best decision. I know that there was still a possibility of the cyst coming back but I took my chances. Post surgery I have my mobility in my wrist back, I do not have a nasty scar anymore because he removed all the scar tissue and the cyst is gone. The precision experience, and care at this clinic is unmatched. I am happy and thankful for their services.

Great first impression. The waiting room was pretty busy but the staff were courteous and efficient. The area was clean and well kept. I waited a few minutes past my scheduled appointment time, but nothing that was unreasonable. Dr. Stephan Yacoubian displays the confidence and understanding of what needs to be done to get me back to normal. Missy did an outstanding job helping me understand how to prepared for my upcoming surgery. Looking forward to getting better! I’ll follow up post surgery. ***UPDATE*** Dr. Yacoubian conducted the surgery at the surgery center in Burbank, a short ways from the OSS clinic. Intake was seamless and I was brought back fairly quickly. Something I wasn’t expecting was them to allow me to take my phone with so I could communicate with my wife while I was prepped. All the nurses were professional, polite and while ensuring they had all the correct information for my procedure, they made sure I was comfortable. The anesthesiologist came in and explained everything he would be doing down to the letter, and since I hate needles, he assured me I would hardly feel a thing. He was correct. Dr. Yacoubian came in to confirm again which shoulder and procedure we were doing and reassured me before I headed off to get numbed and put under. All the staff were very professional. I wish I could remember their names but everything was a bit foggy as I woke up. It’s been about a month since my surgery and the recovery is going exceptionally well. I was only in the along for about a week and every day my shoulder gets stronger. I did a LOT of research before seeing Dr. Yacoubian and he comes HIGHLY recommended by myself and my wife. If you need shoulder work done, this incredible staff will take very good care of you.

Oh my god, for a long time I didn’t have such a great feeling being in a Dr. office. Every one Friendly and professional. In no time I saw the Dr and got my treatment. Seeing a hand sergeant, paper work, XRay getting the next appointment getting physical therapy appointment….. all in less than 35 min is unheard. I love this place.

I recently had ACL surgery with Dr. Stephen Yacoubian and I can't say enough good things about OSS and the staff! Every appointment was easy and I found the staff to be friendly and caring. Dr. Yacoubian completed my surgery in less than two hours and I was able to go home an hour later. I have had very little pain and have made a fast recovery. I highly recommend OSS - I have seen both Dr. Yacoubian's, Dr. Mikhael and PA Katie Wang. All of them are experts in their field and take a lot of care for their patients.

I had a great first experience with a new surgeon today, as someone that’s new to California I was scared meeting a new doctor but, he was great. Easy to talk to and explained everything in detail as to what to expect with an upcoming needed surgery

Excellent doctors!! Really quick. I waited 8 minutes for my appointment with Dr. Yacoubian. He really listens to you and he genuinely cares! I was so happy that they were able to see me the day after I called after dealing with insurance hell for 10 days after breaking my ankle! They are really fast and efficient and well staffed. A lot of the nurses/techs here were really sweet and accommodating. Brian was exceptionally good tho! He was really kind and thoughtful and offered to get me water before I even had to ask. He made me feel listened to and cared about, which is so lacking in the healthcare industry these days! I Appreciate you, Brian! The X-ray techs were fast and efficient. Although I liked that everything moved rather quickly and I didn’t have to be there long, I also felt a little hurried through everything. For something as important as doing surgery vs not, I needed more time to think and ask more questions about surgery vs. casting, the healing process of both, pros and cons of both and really make sure all my questions were answered before I was asked to make a decision. I am glad that Dr. Mark M gave me his email tho and said to ask him any questions. I’ll see how quickly he answers! But overall I am glad to have been seen and cared for there.

These people are great, my right knee has been bothering me for the past 2 weeks. My wife got me an appointment to go see the orthopedic specialist on Thursday. Everything went smoothly and thankfully my issue was resolved quickly and painlessly. The Doctor and his assistant were so comforting and informative. I will definitely recommend this clinic to anyone that needs their services.

The staff at OSS are professional, friendly and clearly dedicated to their jobs. I saw Dr Raven, he is extremely kind and personable, he was informative and explained very clearly what was going on with my hands and fingers. He gave me a cortisone shot in my finger and I hardly felt a thing! All in all a wonderful experience, I highly recommend them!

I used to go Glendale office and my dr was dr Bastian which I had great experience but since he’s not with OSS anymore so I transferred to this office, but it’s complete headache, whenever you call it’s impossible to talk to someone, the billing and authorization or any other department never ever answers phone, they recommend to leave a message but never call back. OSS send the NPA to RedNet for my MRI( left knee) I have PPO insurance and I don’t want to go RedNet and it’s impossible to make an appointment in another place and I want to talk to someone in OSS but it’s a unattainable , since my insurance approved it from RedNet, i satisfied with the dr and np but I believe I need to find another office

Dr. Shahan Yacoubian and his office staff really go the extra mile. Dr. Yacoubian followed up with me in person twice on the day of my surgery and called me the next day. The office provides a way for you to communicate with questions, even on the weekend. Everyone is nice and, unlike a previous doctor I considered, the wait time in the office is either right on time or wait (maybe) ten minutes. I've been really happy with the care I've gotten and I'm healing up great. Two weeks after surgery and I'm up and moving with very little pain!

I didn’t have to wait very long to get an appointment as I would have for other doctors. To my surprise this was a very busy doctors office. However, it is very efficient, organized, and professional. Patient forms were sent in advance so I was able to complete them comfortably and adequately. Moreover, in this time of Covid-19 they have taken excellent precautions to ensure that patients, doctors, and staff are safe. Dr. Raven is very professional and thorough. Within an hour I had an x-ray, ultrasound, and the necessary next steps to scheduling surgery.

My husband had a hip replacement by Shahan Yacoubian October 2019 and I have to say every time I went went him to his appointments, this place was very professional and clean. When he actually had the surgery Dr Yacoubian and his staff went out of their way to make sure that I was just as comfortable and checked on me regularly. So when I broke my foot recently and my doctor wanted to refer me to an orthopedic I didn’t hesitate and asked to be referred here. Again, the staff is amazing. From the time you walk in the door to all the assistants and the PA that treated me Omar was great. Answered all my questions and explained everything perfectly!!! Always feel very well taken care of here!!!

From the beginning the receptionist was very engaging and pleasant. When my name was called and taken to the examination room I never felt in the dark. I was always told what would be happening and why. The x-ray technician was efficient. Dr. Raven explained everything and told me my treatment options. I have been going for 14 years now for various problems. I always leave feeling better and knowledgeable about my condition and how to care for myself. Furthermore I wouldn’t hesitate to follow up with questions I may have down the line. Stephanie
