Great local dive shop, much much better than any of the other dive shops within a 25 mile drive. Super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. High quality dive gear, reasonably priced. Excellent quality instruction. Very social as well, with free monthly dive club meetings. Highly recommended for all your diving needs [Updated at the beginning of 2021] I googled In2Deep Diving to get their new address and directions to their new expanded store, and started reading some of the recent reviews. There seem to be a number of different reviews, all recent by people with exactly three reviews, that are less than 5 stars and reference people who don't work at In2Deep, or in one case, a pool location In2Deep doesn't use for confined water training. All I can guess is that some of the other dive shops in the area are trying to lower In2Deep's rating with less than 5 star reviews, because In2Deep is such a great dive shop and everyone is going here instead of other dive shops. I suggest anyone reading the less than 5 star reviews look at web sites for other dive shops in the area, see who their staff names are, and figure out for themselves where everyone is leaving to go to In2Deep! [Updated in early 2022] The shop is doing great with lots of classes and local dive boat trips [Updated August 2023] In2Deep is now one of the leading dive shops in terms of number of divers certified this year!

We recently had several of our scouts participate in scuba certification at Emerald Bay Scout Camp. In2Deep, and their instructor Jake, did a fantastic job with training. They had fun, but there was a great deal of attention focused upon education and safety. We greatly appreciate the dedication of Jake and the rest of the In2Deep diving staff. THANK YOU!

I visited In2Deep yesterday to order a prescription dive mask. It's been several years since I've been diving, so I went in knowing brand names I wanted to look for, but nothing about "current" gear. Fortunately, dive masks haven't changed all that much! Tara helped out by showing me several masks and being patient while testing them all for a good seal. She spent the time to make me comfortable with the process. After trying on several masks, I actually selected the first one Tara showed me. What a pleasant surprise to see it was not among the more expensive options. Shopping at In2Deep was a very fun experience, as a dive store should be. Thanks Tara ... well done! I'll be back!

Best dive shop in SoCal period. Everything you need from rec to tec diving, this is your one stop shop. Highly trained staff, super fun dive trips local and international. Awesome community to be affiliated when it come to diving California or Nevada.

This is what they marked up as $160 in parts. Besides the diaphragm, those o-rings are worth pennies. It’s been a week and I still feel ripped off. $320 for 2 stage regulator servicing

This shop is a breath of fresh air -- no pun intended! The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly and the atmosphere is not hectic and rushed. The best is, they don't push you hard on sales and they really listen to your needs, while still educating you. We recently did a small intimate excursion with them and it was the best boat experience my dive buddies and I have had. We felt well looked after, comfortable, and safe. I can't recommend them enough!

My husband rented equipment to dive while I was working a convention in LA. Easy enough and they gave him ideas for share dives alone. Unfortunately, he was in a non-fault accident on the 405 while heading back to the shop (domino effect with 5 vehicles for someone doding traffic). Luckily, he was OK but he didn't have a chance to rinse the equipment before returning. Taking an uber right from the scene of the accident, he rushes to return the equipment before the scheduled time. Rather than ask even if he was OK, the attendant just let him know it would be a $25 fee for unwashed equipment. No humanity just a bland, blank response. Just wish there was some empathy when dealing with trauma. Don't expect the small business touch.

Soteris is a great instructor that gave me a great expereince diving with him. I started with some fun freediving sessions and ended up doing the AIDA 3 star certification with him (where I got a lot of small tipps for improvement). Soteris did really go the extra mile all the time in being very focused to give me as a customer a great experience. We did not only have nice dives together, but also had a lot of great conversations. I can only recommend this school (and Soteris) to have a few nice fun dives, some training sessions and AIDA certifications.

I got certified along with my two teens. We had a great experience. The instructors were helpful and patient. The Casino Point dive was amazing! I’d highly recommend In2Deep for anyone looking to get their certification and their dive shop is well stocked!

Family run business was that makes you want to dive more! Service, knowledge, support, patience, follow-through. They should be the model for all businesses wanting a loyal customer base. Thank you, Carrie and Nick, for all you do!
