We made an appointment for my son at Ventura Orthopedics. When we arrived on the scheduled day, we were told that our appointment was for a later date. This was a mistake on the part of the office, as the person who booked us said "for tomorrow". The office staff at Ventura Orthopedics was rude and unhelpful, and they were refusing to accommodate us. I was not willing to pull my son out of school and take another day off work for their mistake and they finally caved. After waiting 90 minutes, due to another patient's cancellation, we finally saw the doctor. The doctor ordered an MRI, and the next day we asked Ventura Orthopedics if there was anything we could do to expedite the process. They claimed that they were waiting to hear back from our insurance company. However, after 48 hours, when we spoke to our insurance, we learned that Ventura Orthopedics still needed to submit the MRI request. The doctor seemed concerned and knowledgeable, but I am very disappointed with the level of service that we received from Ventura Orthopedics as a whole. The business needs to find competent management. Until this happens I suggest avoiding them. Update: While we were wrapping up our visit, the doctor asked us to schedule a follow-up for two weeks saying she believed it would take two weeks to get the MRI approved, scheduled, and the results sent over. When I went to check out and schedule the follow-up, the person at the desk scheduled for three weeks saying she felt it would take longer. She told me "If you can get an MRI appointment sooner it will not be a problem to move the follow-up appointment to when you have the MRI results." We booked the appointment sooner than they expected and now they are refusing to move our follow-up. They lied to my face. They want my son to remain on crutches without any word on what his injury is for two weeks after his MRI. Ventura Orthopedics does not deserve one star, it just gets worse and worse with each interaction.

Dr. De Leon is an excellent doctor. I have seen him several times. He makes me feel good the minute he greets me. All my concerns are answered and taken care of in such a professional and caring manner. I leave there feeling brand new. Highly recommend him. He's the one of the best. Irene Orange

Dr. Turk is an outstanding physician, have had excellent results with all his treatments.he thoroughly explains things, and answers all your questions. Ive never felt rushed. Personable too. And his staff are great as well. Nothing negative to say in my experience

Went in with severe knee almost 2 years after knee replacement surgery at another place with another doctor. Dr. Turk did his assessment, determined my knee was unstable and needed a revision. He is kind, answers all questions and takes his time. Ventura orthopedics, and Dr. Turk are the best.

Always very pleased with the care I’ve received at Ventura Orthopedics. Dr Turk is an excellent orthopedic surgeon and I have had two successful hip replacements and lately a total knee replacement surgery also. Highly recommended.

Dr. Turk is an excellent surgeon. He seriously cares about his patients and precisely explains what is happening and what needs to be done. I had my first knee replacement surgery two months ago and I’m grateful to the professional staff treatment and care at Ventura Orthopedics. The care and help of the Case Officer is above and beyond and I thank all of them. I must mention that the coordination and arrangement between Dr. Turk, his staff and the hospital were totally aligned and made me feel comfortable and at ease. With this very good experience, now I feel more confident that my second knee surgery will be successful as well.

Dr. Assil’s office and staff members are just the best. They made sure I understood everything before I left and what I could expect in the future. Dr. Assil also spent time with me so that I understood all of my options. I highly recommend his services. You can rest assured you will be treated with courtesy and respect.

I am Serina Rosenkjar and Rick de Lone is a supportive clinician who helps find ways I can cope with medical or medicinal care. He does not judge, even if a person needs to take narcotics due to the pain they are in. But he is also honest about the pros and cons of taking specific drugs. His concern for his patients is honest and he reflects a broader understanding concerning long term medical medical. I am grateful to him for helping my husband understand my condition. He also helps my husband understand the treatment reguime the doctor has developed and he monitors my condition on a monthly basis. Without Rick on my side, I am sure that I would feel more uncomfortable discussing the characterists of my medical and cognitive issues. My husband and I are grateful we have him on my team.
