Where do you start hiking to Pico Viejo. The hike is tough and takes around 7h round ways. 60% plan 40% pretty steep. Prepare yourself with plenty of water and food

Quite a remarkable place .... It's size and scale and the atmosphere is amazing. The drive up here did get a little hairy, with some right roads, but once you are in the national park it is fabulous scenery. I would recommend taking a trip and not driving yourself, for those two reasons ... Let someone else, who knows the roads drive, and free you up to view the spectacular scenery! Our younger daughter was also captivated by the fact that it is still active. And it was really interesting to know more and the visitors centre really helps here. The cafe is ok, if a little soulless, but if you sit on the terrace, you have all the atmosphere you need! Well worth the trip!

Wonderful place to watch a sunset. Can go by car, not a big car park, we went on a coach trip, very easy

Wonderful place with delightful views, but be aware that access to some areas is restricted. Overall, a positive experience, so my rating is 4 out of 5

Amazing! My second time visiting Teide Mountain this year. I booked the tour on getyourguide (Teide with Cablecar and Teide, Masca island tour) and I really loved both experiences. Can’t recommend enough. Beautiful nature, great view, cable car took us to the top in 10 mins or so. Breathtaking view 😍😍😍😍

The trip and guide were fantastic the only thing letting it down was that there were no toilet facilities not so good on a 6 hour trip.

We followed trail 9 which is well signposted. The paths are very visible for the most part however, they do disappear in places so keep a keen eye out. The hike itself isn't too bad at all. Some deep sandy areas to get through which make it a little tedious. The main struggle is water. It's hard to carry enough and there are obviously no water sources so, take as much as you can carry. Worth every bit of effort with spectacular views.

Definitely recommend leaving the beach and booking an excursion for a day or two and exploring the national park. The volcano was cool, the lava fields where cool, the nature amazing. Nice guys, new equipment and very knowledgeable.

This place is for people who want to camp and hike. In winters on ground temperature is above 20 but here it is below zero so do take winter jackets, hiking shoes, prepare well. Lovely landscape for amazing pictures

This was our last stop around the national park with the summit in the distance. Small parking area with wonderful views. We could see the clouds moving up the valley. Amazing to observe

Great spot to park and watch the sunset and stars come out. One of the star gazing tours take place from this point given the great view of the sky. Make sure you come when the moon isn't out for best visibility of the stars. Unfortunately, our trip was during the full moon and there weren't many stars to see with the naked eye.

Great spot for a high-up sunset over La Gomera, if it's not too cloudy (it was, hence the lack of photos this time),also incredibly busy, so get in early to be able to park!

Absolutely stunning views of the Island as well as the volcano 🌋 (Mount Teide). The roads are fabulous to drive up and there are stops along the route at various place to take pictures.

Beautiful viewpoint near some impressive black, volcanic moon landscape. You can see several of the neighbouring islands from here, like La Gomera, El Hierro and La Palma. When we visited they were peaking out the ocean of clouds in the evening and it was a beautiful view.

Spectacular views all around, the sunsets here are truly breathtaking. We took an excursion with Tiede by night and it was worth every penny. The climb up to the mountain top by coach supplies amazing views in itself but reaching the viewing areas approximately 2000meters up is definitely something I would suggest. After the the sun has set, it well worth hanging around for the stars to show themselves. The views of the night sky are so incredibly clear and out guide Bepe was very knowledgeable and was able to highlight the various constilations and planets that can be seen. A good camera is a must!
