This is the third time we have dropped into El Refugio. Very friendly welcome, unequalled views down the valley to the sea whilst you eat home made beef in red wine, cannarian potatoes, guacamole, and drink their house wine. With apple pie to follow. Perfect!!

Lovely, very enthousiastic people. Easygoing and caring hosts. They helped with planning the hike to the top of Teide. Beautiful room, beautiful place to eat. And the food is awesome.

Delicious food and wonderful location, however relatively expensive

We popped in after going up into Mount Tiede to view the stars at night. Must place to visit, very welcoming, great pricing & just a great venue.

Very knowledgeable and friendly hosts. Ask them for things to do in Tenerife! We had a great, relaxed time here. Very nice breakfast, dinner and lunch. The rooms are also enjoyable. Must visit.

Best meal we had in Tenerife. The owners are so kind and you truly feel the food is cooked with love. I could watch as the chef prepared our meal and you could see how much she cared. I had a bbqued boneless chicken thigh and homemade chips and salad. Perfect. Sooooo good. The homemade dips they brought to start with piping hot homemade bread was also awesome. I’m still at the restaurant but didn’t want to leave without telling you all how good it was 😍

Nice stop on a hike. a little pricey, but after a long hike a coffee is worth the money
