This was simply amazing. A Viking longboat, dolphins, pilot whales, swimming in the ocean and drinking beer from a horn. What more could you want! The crew where brilliant and made it that more memorable. I would highly recommend this, as this was definitely the highlight of my holiday.

Great experience! The vikings were very interactive and knowledgeable telling us about vikings and the history of Tenerife as well as pilot whales that we saw very close to the boat. We loved that all music and noise was turned down for the whales in order to not bother or scare them. There was a great viking show and a battle. Perfect for families with kids as they had games for both children and adults. We got there hungry so decided to get food without much expectation for on board meals. We were very surprised with the quality and taste of the burger though. One of the best veggie burgers i’ve had on this island! Havi was very good in his role as an actor, conveying everything, even jokes, in both enligh and spanish and he along with the rest of the crew was very attentive to everybody, speially to those who got sea sick. If I can recommend one thing though it would be to take sea sickness tablets since even on a calm day the boat rocked quite a bit and there were some people who did not feel so well.

We had a great trip out on the Viking boat. Very entertaining and the crew were great in their performance as real life Vikings. We had the 2 hour trip which was plenty of time to take in both the wonderful dolphins and pilot whales. There was audience participation along the way. With war paints and sword fights. My 3 year old was a little scared to start with by the scary Vikings but by the end of our trip she was fully involved as part of the crew. Thank you for a great memory and interesting information about the island and whales and dolphins The Sallis family

Very nice tour! You walk aboard the beautiful ship of Ragnarok where the vikings welcome you! They give personal twists and jokes to the people that are with them on the boat making the entertainment and acting very nice. The music on the ship gives a nice Viking atmosphere. They took us to see whales which was very nice to see! The food on the ship is also nice and overall the experience was worth my time! I recommend Ragnarok for both adults and children! We were 2 adults and had a great time!

We were really excited for this trip, however many people were unwell due to the sea being very rough and one lady was taken very poorly. Due to this we had to cut the trip short and missed on some of the activities advertised. This is completely understandable, however I do feel like some reimbursement should be given as it was quite expensive. Saying that, the staff responded brilliantly and were very caring and attentive to those who were unwell. Only book this trip if you have a strong stomach! :-)

Amazing experience for families! We (2 dutch families) had a great time and have seen the pilot whales close to the ship. The crew, rough vikings :-) were fun, approachable and caring. Three hours went past quickly having fun with some drinks and entertainment from the crew. You can get some food on board, which is good. I get seasick very easy so prepared myself and came out good, even after a viking Skol game ;-) I would recommand pills against seasickness if you are the same. If you are unlucky however the crew takes care for you the best they can. If you are on Tenerife, something to put on your list!

These guys are fantastic. I went with my wife, my son and my daughter. After 5 mins it was clear that my wife was just not a sea worthy creature and after about an hour neither was my son. He was later sick, kids always miss the bag a little. But there was no fuss made by the staff and they couldn't have done more to help. So with their heads down me and my 6 year old daughter enjoyed the trip. We say the pilot whales aka dolphins, the face painting the games and the VIKING atmosphere. She was over the moon. As for the food, it smelled amazing and probably tasted good too but we didn't want to unsettle the other 2 so we didnt have any. This is by far the best experiance on a boat available in tenerife so make sure you do it. Thanks guys keep up the good work.

Highly Recommend Themed Adventure! We loved this three hour trip and one of the best family bonding we experienced since the lockdown! We signed up simply for dolphins and whale spotting but we got so much more back and let me share! 1. Great Hospitality! The team was fantastic, so friendly and nice! As an Asian I don’t normally tip but this time I gave them a huge tip at the end! +unlimited beer! +good food onboard (but don’t eat too much cause seamotion) +great music +games for kids (sword fighting, bow and arrow) 2. Dolphins and Whale Yes we saw both and more. We met a family of sea turtles as well. First time in my life I spotted wild whales and dolphins like in the documentary hunting for school of fish. 3. Swimming in the open sea. I am not a strong swimmer but I had to jump in with my daughter. Don’t worry there are life vest and it’s worry free. We jumped in and had the best father daughter chat and experience ever. 4. The theme Viking experience The host guide explained many things we never knew about the place. We learned about different whales and dolphins. We learned about the history of Tenerife. All these experience in three hours! I cannot emphasize how wonderful this boat ride is! I would go back again. Final tip: +get motion sick pill from pharmacy and take it 15 mins before for better experience. Many folks struggled but I was happy as Larry.

What a great 3 hour experience to have on our wedding anniversary. We received a very warm welcome as we arrived and had our photo taken with the Chief Viking (Great Wolf) holding battle axes. 🪓🪓 The long boat and our hosts were authentically decorated and dressed in traditional and convincing Viking garb. Thankfully, only the ores were missing. On our way to see the whales and dolphins we learned some history of the area and the mammals we were about to encounter. It didn’t take long before we had juvenile whales 🐳🐳 coming within just a couple of meters from us and later dolphins🐬🐬. Along the way we we treated to a staged fight between Great Wolf and his cousin, to settle a ‘long standing dispute’, an archery & hoop throwing contest and, my favourite, a beer chugging contest from a deceptively large cow horn. 🫣 Some brave souls also went swimming and snorkelling (way to cold for us to jump into the Atlantic in late January 2023) 🥶 We we highly entertained and cared for throughout our trip by our excellent hosts. The beer and soft drinks were included and the hot food available on board looked both delicious and was very reasonably priced. A big thank you to Ragnarok for treating us to a such an enjoyable and memorable experience. 👍🏻😎

we went there on a Sunday and the wait to start was very quick. I didn't have a lot of pretensions, but in the end I was very satisfied. the completely friendly and always available crew, they help immediately in case of problems with nausea or even when you try to climb the ladder after swimming in the ocean. The bar is awesome, unlimited beer, soda and water and the food is amazing quality at a very low price. Viking entertainment is there and it's not just for kids, who get free candy as well, but also make a lot of references to Norse culture. for the 3 hour trip it is strongly recommended to pre-order long in advance

We had absolutely the best time on Ragnarok boat. From the beginning to finish all staff were amazing. Children loved all games and lots of attention given by staff. Few days has gone but my kids still talk about it and how much fun they had. Food was delicious and reasonable priced. All inclusive drinks were good, too. Both vikings were great fun and put on fantastic show. We were lucky to see whales too. I would definitely recommend this boat trip to anyone, friends, couples or families.

1000% worth it. Not just a boring boat trip the staff are extremely friendly, fun and make the whole family feel welcome. We saw multiple whales and the staff went from keeping everyone happy and having a good time (being Vikings) to telling you facts of the whales. On the way back to port we played a game on which kept everyone happy and I was not bored for 1 second. Prices of food and drink on the trip was great they did not try to rip you off on the sea. Definitely a Tenerife must for anyone who has yet been.

Very easy to book and a reasonable price for a family of 4 for a great day out. We were welcomed on to the boat as the scurvy Saxons we are and given weapons straight away for a family picture with our hosts. The boat was really good and there was plenty of shaded seats if you burn easy lie we Britons do. After a brief safety chat we got some drinks that were very reasonable. Then we set sail. Our host gave us interesting information about a local island After about 20 minutes we were out at sea looking for dolphins and we were not disappointed. Fins at first then 3 or 4 dolphins at a time swimming around the boat you could clearly see them. Then one of the crew gave a really interesting talk about the whales and dolphins found around Tenerife. I'll be honest I was a bit surprised about his depth of knowledge and passion for them being in the wild. Shortly after that we headed back and there were opportunities to sit on the throne, sword fight the crew and play Viking games.

A great attraction and a wonderful experience. A great group of passionate professionals working on customer satisfaction. Wow, Seriously, They tried very hard from the beginning to the end of the 2-hour cruise to interest us, teach us something, entertain the children with various competitions and show us real whales. The main leader of the Vikings had to be born for this role. He not looked like a real viking, but also talked this way. Excellent. Thank you very much.

We decided to go on the afternoon trip and it was great (even though the dolphins didn't show up!) Seeing the Whales was still awesome. The guys on the boat were amazing and put on a fab show which entertained everyone regardless of age. I would definitely go on another trip and would recommend to all

Love the boat Excursion, though I had wished for the show to be a bit longer or battling throughout the boat. The staff was super friendly and absolutely worth every euro spent. So far, the highlight of our Holiday trip. We found several pods of pilots whales, and the onboard food was delicious, cooked on a grill in front of you. (Food was extra €) 😋 drinks were included. ( house wines and beer, soda pops)

We booked the three house trip. Right from the start you have these amazing fun humans in costume and part seeking to entertain you. I fell quite ill, and this is worth pointing out. This is a viking boat and it can get really rough for folk that get sea sick. Lots do. Let me start by saying how I was treated was outstanding. They must see a million sick tourists a year and yet I felt like I was completely safe and respected. Constantly the staff put water on me, checked my health. The first hour, which was all I got before illness was an incredible experience. I witnessed whales as promised. As a group we were offered 30 min swim or 30 min games due to the choppy water making folk ill. The group chose the games and from what my wife and children told me. They drank like vikings and came back with wonderful tales. If you want the best experience on a boat in the canary islands then book this, you won't regret it. This is a personal message to the staff. Yall are amazing, thank you for taking care of me and allowing me space to lie down on your ship whilst ensuring my wife and kids had the best time.

We had an absolutely amazing time with the team on The Ragnarok boat tour! Got to see some amazing whales up close and personal and have a laugh with the lads ☺️ We had an amazing sea swim too during and got to experience the Viking life for 3 hours. Drinks where included in our package and everything else including food was delicious and fairly priced.

Superb couple of hours with the Vikings. Excellently pitched to all. Our 3 year old daughter was a little nervous but the crew were superb with her. We had a great time and surly must be the best way to see the whales etc when compared to the overflowing tourist boats . Great value onboard too. Thanks for the memories!

Absolutely brilliant fun for all the family, crew and actors are so welcoming and engaging throughout, a chance to learn and play and of course see the amazing wildlife as it should be in the wild. If you do one activity whilst you're visiting tenerife make it this!

Book this tour! The crew is extremely passionate and friendly, especially with children. They look after everyone and care nicley for people who are seasick (we were lucky and had no problems). Saw a lot of whales nearby and take part in the viking games😄 It's worth the money!

Had the 3 hour tour today. The crew was extraordinarily professional, loving and passionate. They helped the kids watching whales and dolphins. The viking show was incredibly immersive and fun to watch. Not to mention the well prepared games which people of all ages could enjoy. Definitely one of our best experiences ever! We and our kids loved it. Huge thanks to all of you! 谢谢你们带给我们欢乐和美好的回忆!

Just enjoyed 2 fabulous hours on the Ragnarok, the crew went above and beyond for our group of 2 adults and 2 children (age 2&5). Would highly recommend and will definitely return for another trip next time we visit Tenerife. Thank you team Ragnarok for a great time!

Amazing time! The crew were so lovely and great to be around. As someone who gets very nervous of being in the ocean they were great in making us feel safe and comforting. This show was amazing, truly a great experience, was fun for all ages there. If you want a fun and interesting whale watching experience this is the boat you need to be on!

If your going to Tenerife this is a MUST. From start to finish this trip was amazing. Staff were thoroughly entertaining and nothing was too much from them. Few people suffered from Sea sickness including one from our group but the staff were brilliant with them, and were continually checking in on them and doing all they could to help. I don’t think it’s fair to the Ragnor team for the 1 star reviews for people being sea sick on they’re trip. They were extremely knowledgeable on the Vikings era and also the local wildlife. We managed to see a pod of whales and were offered a lot of info about them. The food was stunning, and reasonable priced. Food wise you get what you pay for in Tenerife and the 7.50 cheese burger was worth every cent. The entertainment onboard was second to none and enjoyable for all ages. You get a chance to have a good swim in the sea and wasn’t rushed. I would highly recommend doing this trip. You won’t be disappointed. Many thanks Steve (and family) from Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

We had an amazing experience on the 3hr trip. Everything about it was brilliant even the care they showed to my husband for his sea sickness! Food and drink was lovely! And the best part was the whales, I will never forget that experience! I thoroughly recommend Ragnarok.

We went on the trip as a family Brooklyn age 9 The food was good and you get to play lots of games. There is a king viking chair and lots of viking stuff to dress up in for photos. We saw two vikings fighting with swords and shields. On the trip we saw pilot whales swimming by the boat. We didn't see any dolphins but sometimes you can. If you go on this trip it can by very rocky in the sea and I felt that I might fall off. Donnzz The trip is good value for money with good quality food and the chance to swim in the sea. I was slightly disappointed that there is only one chance to whale/dolphin spot in the three hours. Plenty to do for the kids and very friendly staff.

We took a trip as a group of 7 and loved it. Saw pilot whales and after some time searching slowly we also saw dolphins. We booked the 3 hour trip and the only complaint would be you don't travel very far up the coast as some time is spent allowing people to swim in the sea. You can take photos wearing Viking headwear and various authentic looking weapons. The food is good with unlimited complementary drinks, alcoholic, soft and water. There is a reasonable amount of participation during the trip with the crew members/actors but it's really good fun :)

  • 5/5 Kolbjorn L. 5 years ago on Google
Very funny trip and crew. Good food. And we see Pilotwhale. Me and the viking had same brand shoe and stockings. 😝 Hello to Tenerife from Norwegian VIKINGS.

Amazing day out and great value for money. The staff are very very friendly and the safety of customers is clearly of paramount importance from the moment you step on board the boat. The entertainment is brilliant and everything promised in the advertisements was delivered. We saw whales, we saw dolphins, we saw epic Viking battles. This was the highlight of our holiday
