Features a massive courtyard out front with typically 100 or so people milling happily about. On Saturday and Sunday evenings there are a bunch of food tables set up including a really good vegan one with cheesecake and burgers.

If you want to buy typical Mexican food, buy real artesian bread and candy to take home: THIS IS THE PLACE. Outside the temple there's a typical Mexican evening life, people dancing, buying, eating. It's a great memory to take back to whatever country you come from. Also, the prices on incredibly cheap and fair! The Temple by its own is majestic and timeless. Definitely a MUST when visiting Guadalajara!

I was browsing my phone searching for some pictures and this lady tells me in a very stern and rude manner that I wasn't allowed to take pictures. My daughter was there to take some pictures by a professional photographer and asked the priest for permission. After taking the pictures the priest told the photographer in the same rude manner "I told you only two pictures!! You need to leave!". Parishioners got upset at the way we were treated and asked us to ignore them, but we just dind't want to cause any trouble and just left.

One key item to look for is the large rear right steeple that from the outside appears as mostly brick and dark glass but from the inside looking up is beautiful stained glass.
