I thought I'd try a different hotel than the one I usually stay at when I come to Madrid. I was apprehensive since it is in a different area from which I am familiar, but I am glad that I gave it a chance. This hotel was excellent in every sense of the word. The location was great just steps away from the metro, staff was friendly & helpful, the hotel itself was beautiful, rooms excellent, etc. Even the affiliated Botania restaurant was amazing; probably the best meal I had while in Madrid. I will definitely stay here again and would recommend anyone considering it as an option to select it, you won’t be disappointed.

One of the best hotels we've stayed in Europe! Highly highly recommended! The room is big and quiet, spotlessly clean, with blackout curtains, a super comfortable bed and pillows. We had the best sleep! Breakfast is awesome, with a huge selection of choices. Service is perfect. All the staff are super friendly and keen to help with everything, from front desk to room service. Thank you so much for looking after us so well. We look forward to coming back again soon!

Amazing and perfect location. It’s close to everything- walking distance to El Palacio Real. The staff is absolutely wonderful and the hotel is everything you would expect from a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! The breakfast- exquisite! The view from the sauna overlooks la Plaza de España. Simply perfect. Lux & Modern.

We only stayed here one night on our way back to the US but wow this hotel impressed. Beautiful lobby and super friendly staff who helped us at every turn. The rooms were truly luxurious, especially the bathrooms with beautiful marble everywhere. My wife noticed that they even iron the pillowcases! Location is very central, close to royal palace. Also check out the sky lounge on 12 for nice drinks and appetizers.

We did not arrive at the hotel because unfortunately our flight was canceled due to weather conditions. We tried to contact the hotel by phone, but we were told that the manager was not available. We wanted to cancel the paid room because we couldn't arrive. We tried via email and were told that it is not possible to cancel the room and get a refund, not even half of the amount. We paid for two nights and did not stay in the hotel. We probably won't book a reservation to this hotel in the future.

Ginkgo Sky Bar is a part of the VP Design hotel. Although I have not been in the hotel itself, the sky bar is absolutely stunning, with the best design, food, personnel and views from everywhere where I have been in Madrid.

Fact: on January 29th, 2022, this hotel hosted a convention of extreme right parties, including guests like Abascal, Orban and Le Pen. Nice bunch to hang up with 👌🏼.

A fantastic hotel direct on the Plaza Espana and just a few steps from the Royal Palace and the Cathedral. You can start shopping in the Gran Via directly in front of the hotel. We visited Madrid just before Christmas and enjoyed the beautifully decorated hotel. Breakfast was very good and the staff extremely professional. This is the perfect hotel for a nice city trip in Madrid. We'll definitely come back.

First stated here Monday & Tuesday was amazing… got a regular room, ac worked, food amazing…. Pristine! Stayed here again Saturday night when I came back to Madrid, had a suite this time, but the ac wouldn’t cool the room… they had a tech come out twice and he said it was working to its full potential… but the room wouldn’t get cooler than 75ish at best… made no sense, despite mentioning the room I had earlier got nice and chilly…

Excellent hotel, service was perfect, nice staff, almost brand new, room are large, clean and modern. Location is perfect. I rarely write a review but this hotel exceeded our expectations by far so I decided to write this review.

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The hotel is modern, luxurious and beautifully located in central Madrid. Very close to the Royal Palace and other attractions. Our room was spacious and bright, overlooking the Plaza Espana. So modern. Touch controls for everything. Extremely comfortable king size bed and luxurious amenities. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The sky cocktail bar was amazing - especially the music and atmosphere. Really looking forward to our next trip to Madrid at the VP Plaza.

Exceptional 5 star hotel - the staff went out of their way to be friendly and supportive. The rooms were clean and tidy. The location is great- you are in walking distance from all major attractions or you can use public transport.

Perfect place in Madrid, very central and easily reachable with the metro and having the royal palace and the entire city center within walking distance. Madrid is a beauty of a city and despite its vibrant and crowded attractions comes across as very well organized, clean, and friendly. The hotel was everything we needed and offered even more (free spa visit) had we had more time. It was chic, modern, and everyone was charming. In the morning, there was a wonderful breakfast buffet with multiple selections – just perfect to get ready for a long run in the city.

Well designed high tech modern hotel in the heart of Plaza de España. We've stayed here on 3 separate occasions over the past 13 months, very quickly became our favorite place to stay while in Madrid. Their rooms are very well appointed, functional and comfortable. Service is excellent and their breakfast is super good!

Good products , good service, good location. I would like to especially commend on the staff service. In particular, Miguel from the concierge service was very helpful and recommended good dinner locations and helped us to book and provide directions to the restaurant. Also, if you have time, visit the Sky Bar next to the hotel which provides good tapas with cocktails which accompanies the good view!

First time in Madrid and we couldn't have dreamt of something better. Luxury, high tech room with outstanding service. Premium quality food at the rooftop restaurant. Super friendly staff, they even offered us drinks at the bar while our rooms were getting prepped. Corpo cyberpunk level experience :D

Disappointing Experience with Refund Policy I recently had the displeasure of dealing with the refund policy at VP Plaza Espana . Despite unforeseen circumstances due to the war in Israel that led to my cancellation, the hotel refused to refund my money. This experience has left me dissatisfied and frustrated. The lack of flexibility in accommodating genuine situations reflects poorly on the customer service standards of the establishment. I hope the hotel reconsiders its policies to ensure a more customer-friendly approach in the future.

Simply an amazing experience at this hotel. It is beautiful, modern, in the center of everything. Special shout out to the staff, Carlos and Francisco helped find us great places to eat around the city.

True 5-star hotel! At the Spanish Plaza, and walking distance to the palace. The room is big and well designed to maximize space. Love the big open shower space! Housekeeping is great!

One of the best services I’ve had! Great location! This hotel is so clean and well managed. The staff is super helpful and friendly. They provide an amazing service. The hotel itself is very high tech. The breakfast buffet has great options. The pool and the bar is so fun with a great view. And the restaurant next door, Botania, has an amazing food. They checked us in early and updated ours rooms for free since it was available. Honestly I haven’t counted but they cleaned our rooms at least twice a day. Only thing that was not up to the hotel level was the gym, it’s small and basically equipped with cardio but nonetheless I’m sure you will love staying here!

VP Plaza Espana Design is a fantastic hotel in all respects. The staff is amazing and so kind and helpful. The hotel and the rooms themselves are truly beautiful. There is no detail overlooked. One of the nicest and most beautiful hotels I have stayed at ever!

Beautiful, all brand new hotel with excellent service. We came to Madrid for a first time for our anniversary and staying at VP Plaza really turned it to a memorable trip. We unexpectedly got a room upgrade for free and a bottle of champagne. Everyone in the hotel is extremely nice and professional. The breakfast is delicious with wide selection of fresh tasty food and fruits. The location is very central and all the main sightseeings in a walkable distance. Thank You VP Plaza for such a wonderful experience! When back in Madrid, definitely staying here again.

A solid 5 star hotel in a great location! The staff is very nice, friendly and polite. The room was very spatious and nicer than in the photos. We were on the 16th floor so the view was nice, too. We loved the big bathroom with a huge shower and bathtub. There’s an underground parking garage with a charging station for electric cars (parking with additional charges).

New hotel. Comfortable room. Every facility of the room is easy to access and use. Service of breakfast is not that good due to lack of staff.
