It was a great experience to visit, easy to get to. Parking was ok, got there Friday night. We stayed in a hotel inside because we wanted to have extra time to explore without the crowds. There’s some restaurants, lots of stores , few hotels. While dining, there’s live music in different locations. They have construction going on for expansion. The shops open late, we had hard time getting breakfast because restaurants open late around 9:30 and check out was at 12:00. Consider couple of days to get to explore all it has to offer, we definitely will visit again. Staying in has an advantage to take pictures early in the morning or late at night, but it’s inconvenient if you want to have a good night sleep. Walking shoes is a must, heels are nice but it’s hard to walk on stone pathways. Or just have extra shoes. It’s family and dog friendly, more dog friendly than kids really 😁, my daughter is 12 and didn’t have a lot of fun. Don’t know cost of parking since we were staying there. Different types of restaurants, we tried a couple but nothing special really. 😊☀️

It's a nice place to stroll and enjoy the Tuscany Italy like setting. Many restaurants to choose from as well as ice cream and coffee shops. Little boutique type shops add to this unique experience in Mexico. There is adequate parking. The road construction on the way to Val'Quirico is a bit of an inconvenience right now and some parts of the road are very rough with pot holes....so be careful and enjoy the scenery...there is also a lot of building going on as you walk around...will be stunning once all that work is finished.

Dont waste your time and money visiting this place. Only if you want to take a selfie and pretend you are in medieval Euro Disney. There are many real places nearby with more history and real Mexican traditions. No this pseudo Italian, corporate fake town.

I'm giving survey on entire place NOT HOTEL. Don't be mistaken, this is not a "town". This is more of a amusement park with a carousel and small ferris wheel than a town. It has good not great food. Wine choices were ok but I didn't see any actual Italian food.

A touch of Italy in appearance. Sunday was quite full. There was a big bicycle event before we got there, if I remember the map showed 2 laps of 36km. Something worthy of a visit with many restaurants and activities. Some would say a tourist trap with prices as if you were in California (almost). I asked at one hotel and it was about 3500 pesos / $180 per night. Some people with the money would like spending there. Parking on the weekend was 100 pesos and 50 during the week. It is very large and easy to feel you could get lost, so plan to walk at least 2 Kms. A feeling of a safe place.

It is a nice place to take a stroll and take photos of the medieval-like Italian architecture. You can also have a diverse culinary experience. The best time to visit this place is after 3 pm.

A wonderful Italian style town with many restaurants, stores and constant street and Plaza entertainment. Streets are narrow, pedestrian only except for the occasional bike pedaled "taxis", horses and scooters. Mainly for tourists there are full-time residents and a hotel, even apartments for rent. A delightful place to visit and spend a day.

Nice place to visit. They have done a great job at bringing the style and atmosphere of Spain and Italy.

Amazing "amusement area" with many great amenities, restaurants & bars, Tuscan style in the state of Tlaxcala, very close to Puebla city and close to Mexico City 🇲🇽

Great location, but I'm afraid this place is not thought for the working class. Prices are a bit too high including the parking fee of a $100 for a day I would say it's a bit pricey 😔

Amazing place to take pictures. It's inspired by Toscana, Italia. You will find tons of restaurants and stores while you walk in a little piece of Italy in Mexico.

It is a beautiful place with a lot of potential. They must be careful with the training of their staff, in hotels and restaurants. If they don't take care of the customers, the experience is not as pleasant.

What an interesting fake town! Modeled after the style of a small European village, this place has restaurants, shops and even hotels. Free to enter, free parking for motorcycles (there's a charge for cars to park). I did find the prices for goods and services to be rather high here, but not unexpectedly so.

This mystic, cozy, and adorable place is like a little escape from busy city life. A place to relax, dine with family and friends, and listen to variety of music. I like to come back here to enjoy more time someday.

Nice place, still under construction. Crowded with people not sure what they were doing there. Several good restaurants and cantinas were open and some neat little shops too. Will be interesting to go back when more complete.

I arrived late and it was raining so I didn't see too much. Plus all the restaurants were closed due to the rain, so... That said it looked amazing. Just don't go at night when it is raining.

Beautiful place, lovely landscapes, nice architectural composition, plenty of restaurants, stores, live music and variety of activities you can do to spend a good time with your family. People is friendly and helpful whenever they can. It tends to get crowded on weekends, but it is totally worth it. Just an advise, you can visit the place for free( no entrance fee) and the parking is about $50 MXN(free time) However, food, gifts, handcrafts, services and anything you can buy inside this place is expensive, here some examples: - The avg ticket per person for a meal could reach easily 450 MXN - Hats and other handcrafts are 3X the price you can pay for them elsewhere - Some paid activities could be twice expensive than other places. However, you can eat and buy whatever you want in the nearby towns if your are going on a budget I have read comments about racist and discriminatory behaviors in this place, but there is no such thing, it is just that some people may feel that way given the overall high prices inside the venue

This place is absolutely gorgeous!! If you are visiting nearby, this place needs to be a must visit. You’ll find different options to eat, drink or stay. There’s a big parking lot not expensive at all. (60 pesos 24hrs) I really loved it and will definitely come back.

ARTIFICIAL and BEAUTIFUL!!!! it’s a fake city. Don’t know how exactly to describe it. Perhaps compared to Tombstone, AZ but Italian in Mexico. So none of the buildings are historic they were just built to look that way though. None, that I know of, of the residents are Italian either. Someone thought of building a shopping center with homes to go along with antique Italian architecture. The place is beautiful and Instagramable but most businesses were closed. There’s no admission fee just a $50 pesos parking ($2.50 USD). There are free restrooms. Most restaurants are pricey but McCarthys has standard pricing with food specials.

Nice place to visit near by Puebla. It’s an old village constructed on Italian architecture style. In day time usually not much crowded. Parking is available here.

Val’Quirico, a colonial town about 2 hours drive from Mexico City, that provides a different experience in scenery and architecture. Coffee and Bars, cuisine restaurants and Roman /Italian like buildings are aplenty. An exquisite place to take a break on a roadtrip towards Puebla. Definitely must stop to spend your weekend.
