Beautiful Hotel/Casino/Shopping Mall all rolled into one area. As it’s name it’s modelled after, it has a canal “district” in the shopping arcade built indoors complete with architecture, canal, gondolas, singing boatmen akin to Venice n even an artificial sky. Plenty of shopping outlets with brand names for apparel, accessories, food, souvenirs etc. Dozens of food outlets with all styles of cuisine plus a large food court area. Prices are a bit expensive due to the tourist belt and the crowds can be challenging. Nevertheless worthwhile for a visit and walkabout even if the weather is inclement as it’s all indoors. Good for a 2-3 hour visit. Well Recommended.

If only there are more stars than five! It is the most creative structure by mankind. No one may recognize the artificial skies in photos. It provides the openness while indoors. Visitor can stay his whole vacation inside with no need to try another sites. Plus easy exits to nearby hotels.

Our room is big, clean and very well decorated. The hotel is nice and has a good vibe. The check in process was quite long and not very well organized.

Really really huge place. Casino and shops. We stayed there for almost 10 hours. Very nice place what you should visit. Nice at night from outside. Good food court with many choices. The sky in shopping centre is almost amazing!! River inside with gondolas Ig: @paulklima1

Such a grandeur place. Feels like a royalty in wander. A must see for everyone who just visited its neighboring countries. The people and the food and the place itself is incomparable. A must see indeed and experience.

Grand! This is the hotel to stay at when in Macau. Hands down 👐 Superb interiors. Grand Canal Shoppes have something for everyone unlike the luxury brands flooded all over Macau. Hosts the Michelin star Indian restaurant Golden Peacock. All rooms are suites and offer a great view of the cotai strip.

The only thing that was interesting was the ceiling. It is painted and curved so that you actually feel you are standing outside. And the food court had a place called Pizza Pizza that has a brick oven and the pizza is as good as you could get in Chicago. But way too crowded with Chinese tour groups and those who want to use the free shuttle to the airport. Look, I understand that China has a billion plus people and personal space is at a premium in their country, but bumping into people and thinking that is norm for visitors from other countries is not acceptable. They are an extremely rude culture. And the Venetian has 95% Chinese visitors.
