Good location and great view from the room. That is pretty much it for the positive feedback. Room was not clean especially the toilet. Toilet smells bad and this is because of not wiping the floors with soap. Smells like dried urine and it is so strong that i had to close the toilet door and bathroom door to sleep at nights. Food at the restaurant for breakfast was just ok.

First class hotel befitting the Ritz Carlton name where everyone we met was extremely helpful and friendly throughout for the tiniest queries we had. The room was large and very inviting, with classic style furniture. We were upgraded to a high floor room with a superb view of the Guangzhou IFC and Opera House, especially at night. The hotel was very well located for Guangzhou's iconic attractions, the Guangzhou Museum, Opera House, Library, and Canton Tower. We were treated with nightly breathtaking laser show of Canton Tower. The hotel was also surrounded by posh malls big and small, and there was an underground mall with literally a hundred budget eateries! Highly recommended as the hotel of choice when in Guangzhou's super modern Tianhe area

One of the best and most luxurious rooms to stay at in Guangzhou. I got upgraded to the suite at level 27 and it is extremely spacious although definitely pricey. The room is super spacious and there is a fantastic view of the canton tower. The breakfast options are also pretty good but if you wake up too late, you might have to queue for the breakfast as the restaurant is pretty small. A couple of good restaurants within the hotel as well, including a fine dining Italian restaurant which we dined at. My only complaint is there was no bathtub in the suite which seems a little weird to me. There is a bathtub in the normal room but no in the suite? Kinda weird.

Stayed 3 nights during Christmas, and we loved the room. It was really spacious and the housekeeping was very detailed. The facilities were amazing, pool had an amazing view, the breakfast buffet was great. It was easy to cab to everywhere.

1. My room is on the 23rd floor facing the river with great view. However the room looks abit old, but well maintained. Cost around S$400/night with 2 buffet breakfast. 2. The service is great. Ask the staff for any info and they answer well and also politely. All the staff says hi when you walk past them, even the bell boys. Very hospitable and well coming. 3. Right smack in the middle. A few minutes walk get you to 兴盛路 where you get all the mid range restaurant options like braised goose, bbq skewers, bubble tea etc. The hotel also has a Michelin star Chinese restaurant and many others.
