This place is super big, lots to walk around ! It is nice to learn about the history. For me, it is amazing to see how the ancient architecture existed many many years ago. The design of this house is probably better than many houses nowadays! The gardening, the house, the fish... amazed me ! Tips: you probably need at least an hour to two hour to really walk around. Also remember don’t get lost !!! Give me a like if you like my review. It is always nice to have your support!

Thirty-five years of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1607), Huang Shijun, a high school student from Xingtan Town, Shunde, an official to the Ministry of Rites, and a bachelor. For the reign of Emperor Guangzong, in the first year of Tianqi, the Huangjia Temple, Tianzhang Pavilion and Ling's Pavilion were built at the foot of Fengshan outside the south gate of the city. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, the Huang family fell and the courtyard was deserted. The 21st Dragon of the local Dragon's Bijianhai Branch won the junior scholar at the right time and purchased the Tianzhang Pavilion and Ling'a Pavilion. After the hospital was returned to the Long family, it was passed by Long Yingsi and his sons Long Tinghuai and Long Tingzi, and later Tinghuai and Tingzi separated. The middle part of the courtyard was owned by Long Tinghuai, and the left and right sides were obtained by Long Tingzi. Long Tingzi will turn the left and right parts of his courtyard into a garden dominated by living rooms, known as "Long Taichang Garden" and "Chujing Garden". After the owner of the garden declined, he was sold to Zeng Qiuyi, and his son Zeng Dong was here to run a silkworm breeding business, and the "large" signboard was put on it. In the eleventh year of Jiaqing (1806), his son Long Yuan hired the Jinshi of Wujin, Jiangsu, and the calligrapher Li Zhaoluo wrote the three-character book "Qinghui Garden" above the main entrance of Yuyuan Garden to symbolize the kindness of his parents, such as sunlight and light. The garden has been built many times by the five generations, including Long Yingshi, Long Tinghuai, Long Yuanren, Long Jingcan, Long Yonghui, etc., and gradually formed a Lingnan garden with complete structure and rich characteristics. The original site of Qinghui Garden was originally Huang's Garden. Nice park in the midst of the urban area. Don't need to pay admission for the public park area which locals enjoy.

Such a beautiful place. I was amazed at the fact that it was built by a scholar family in Qing Dynasty. It showed the brilliance for architecture design in ancient Chinese people. The garden is currently open for public as a museum, which shows history of the scholar families who were residing there for hundred years. You may also learn some Chinese art and culture, such as calligraphy writing, especially from famous artist QiBaiShi. You should visit there once you arrive at Foshan, Guangdong.

(Translated by Google) The famous Chinese garden architecture that began in the Ming Dynasty was managed by the masters of the past dynasties. The windows of the buildings are designed differently. There are ponds and water fountains in the garden. There are many strange stones and rare plants. It is indeed a wonderful place. A very well-maintained 400-year-old Lingnan garden with beautiful grounds. The garden is very well designed, with fish ponds, waterways, and covered corridors connecting all the various main halls. You can sit down and enjoy different views of the garden. There are lots of old, beautiful fruit trees. It's a joy to visit, and I love their colorful stained glass the most. Highly recommend.

Beautifully preserved garden and buildings. There are stepping stones in the water garden and they let you use them (that would not happen in North America). Very busy. Very little parking. Pay using a QR. Close to lots of shops and restaurants. A must if you enjoy history and gardens.
