Great landscape! The trek is flat and the difficulty is lower-medium, but can become mid if the trek is wet, where you face some quagmire. Overall it's a nice 8km trek 'til the waterfall. The catchment basin is not that large but it's refreshing and beautiful even so. Quite rewarding journey!

The 8km (one way) trail is mostly flat. However, although it didn't rain the day we went, it rained the day before, and there were several parts that filled up and it was necessary to cross the mud. Water below the knee, but having to take off and put on my sneakers was annoying, and some crossings were slippery. After the perrengue, the trail crosses a river with crystal clear waters and the waterfall is beautiful, with a well with shallow and deep parts. Renting a bike can be a quick option, but it can be boring to cross the mud. If you want to avoid the complicated parts, you can rent a carriage.

This Farofa waterfall is wonderful!! Serra do Cipó National Park itself is magical. Everyone and especially those who live in the Metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte should visit and get to know this conservation unit.

A good hike about 7kms to get the place. Was really cold water so difficult to enter, but still worth it. Free entry in the park but need to enter early to avoid getting restricted

Currently there is no admission charge. The Farofa waterfall has an easy, medium-distance walk with no climbs. Pay attention to rain as the bridge is dangerous if there is a volume of water.
