Such a fun place! Didn’t know there’s a zoo connected, that was a nice addition. Some of the concessions take card, but I think it’s easier to just use cash. Plenty of rides & games for small children. I think it’s worth getting the unlimited bracelet because you can ride the rides more than once.

Second trip to Petapa, great location, good food (fair food), awesome rides (both kids and adult rides), a very nice zoo located on site as well and open all year round. If you are visiting Guatemala City, this is another must see while you're here, never a dull moment and fun for the whole family. This park is reasonably priced and offers alot for your money, definitely recommend getting the unlimited bracelet for the rides and make sure you bring quetzales for the arcade games but there are ATMs on site. All in all, loved our experience both times and will be going back.

The park’s parking had huge line for the garage. If you can take an Uber or get there to park it’s best. —the individual ride tickets can be used another day so maybe that is the way to go. We rode about 6-8 rides total between 9:30-1:45 with a lunch and playground stop.

I would not recommend going if you are a tourist. We were harassed by the workers the entire time we were at the park. They kept insisting our son needed to wear a mask even though he was under the age where it was required. There were several other kids that were even bigger than him not wearing them and no one said a word while in line for the same ride. If they were asking everyone who maybe was on the border of being too old it would not have bothered me but it happened on every single ride… would not go back…
