Montano's was amazing! Every aspect of our meal was delicious, from the queso fundido, to the surf and turf, to the flan. I haven't had a meal where every single thing tasted fantastic like this in a long time. Don't miss your chance to dine well if you're in Zona 10 in Guatemala City!

They will up sell you. They changed me 30 dollars $$$ per shot had 3 so almost $90 for just 3 shots. For myself eating there was over $200. I live in America and ive never been charged that much unless i was in Miami!!! Check you bil when paying!!! The 3 drinks were more than my tomahawk stake!!!!!

I’ve had a lot of steak in my life. I’m used to aged cuts over hardwood - coming from my own kitchen. Good steak is important to me. I can easily say, without fail, that this is the best 28 day aged tenderloin I’ve ever had in my entire life. Yes. Besting Piedmont. Besting Japan. Certainly beating the American Midwest. Highly recommended if you’re in GC for any reason.

If you're in Guatemala city you gotta eat here. The service is amazing and the atmosphere is top notch. Price is very reasonable for the whole experience. It may not be the best steak I've had, however it is in top 3!!! The price here is so worth it. I had the dry aged 12oz. I asked the server and they dry age for 20days. It was extremely tender and flavourful. Would eat here again for sure when I'm back in this beautiful country of Guatemala.

Service was impeccable. Food was really good and atmosphere was 5*. Menu was very diverse, steak, chicken and fish. I had pan fried Grouper (Robalo), my companions had steak. Recommend that you try the corn pie as a dessert.

Alot of staff. For some reason, all male. Food is well presented. Had the tortilla soup and cheeseburger (yeah, I know). Soup had great taste BUT the chicken in the soup was stringy and tough...so it is either way overcooked or very old. Either is not satisfactory for an otherwise great tasting, well presented soup. Burger was good

I had heard many times about Montano's, but I had never had the opportunity to come when I traveled to Guatemala. I went there to watch the game Argentina - Netherlands and even though it was absolutely packed, the service was impressive, so speedy, so attentive, such a great group of people like very few places I have been (I would seriously give them 10 stars for service). The the food came in and it was also superb... we tried severals starters and 2 cuts of meat and it was plenty... portions are good and the quality is impressive. The when the game was over, the terrace ceiling was opened for a great place to have afternoon drinks. I would recommend this place over and over again, but you definitely want to make a reservation before going.

Worth the good rewievs! Excellent service provided by an army of waiters. And the steak - wow! I and my wife shared an absolutely wonderful 24 oz tomahawk steak. Big marbeled tasty and perfectly grilled piece of meat.

Excellent rib eye. Sides were disappointingly small. We sipped in a nice aged añejo that was delicious. By the time dessert came I was ready for a nap.

FANTASTIC RESTAURANT! I had the mendoza cut with potato and veggies and omg I was sooo satisfied. I asked medium rare with a hesitant voice and got a perfectly cooked steak. Like it was cooked with atomic perfection. It was so good. One of the better steaks of my life. I will not forget it. The quest fundido with chorizo was super tasty. The chicken...I know its a steak house but she got the chicken and it was the beat roasted chicken I have ever had the privilege of eating. So crispy and the flavor was like... a real chicken. Dont know how else to say it. I will go back next time I'm in the city. The restaurant was super accommodating. They even bring coat racks to your table for you as well as have glass separators between tables but they do it super classy. The place is huge and has many rooms to choose from. The bathrooms are a maze. Only possible complaint is the menu has awkward translations. Its works but yea. If you speak English you will see. I love this place. They made me happy. My girl left with a smile too.

Overall was good, but french fries were cold and they charged even mustard sauce.

Great restaurant. Large rooms and even more space out back with a full wall TV. Full bar and good beer and win selection. Menu had many good choices. Had the skirt steak which was cooked perfectly and served on a large board and was perfect with the sides. Highly recommend. Will go back next time i am in Guatemala.

Montanos is the place to eat steak in Guatemala. I recommend the imported Lomito. Great value.

Where to begin ? Everything here is so overwhelmingly impressive, it's hard to decide what to mention first. Let me just say that our waiter gave us prompt, friendly, discreet yet attentionate service. Additionally, he gave us the distinct impression that he was enjoying his work. We could see his smile behind his mask and hear the joy in his voice. The American Wagyu was better than the 20 or so Wagyu steaks I have had the privilege of eating around the world. It was absolutely melt in the mouth, super tender, with a perfect, not too light, not too dark crust, cooked to the exact temperature I requested (I like fatter meats like this medium, leaner ones medium rare). This was the juiciest steak I can remember having eaten. The idea to serve the steaks on salt plates is genius, as lightly rubbing the piece you just cut off on the plate is enough to perfectly salt it. Thanks to the chef for preparing this perfect meal, and thank you to Walter for the perfect delivery. I most highly recommend this fine establishment!
