😠 We had a really terrible experience with the service here. We got a seat right away and were able to check out the menu, which had helpful markings, including gluten-free. Unfortunately, the only item actually marked was the gluten-free bread. So, I checked out the buffet. I let a waiter know about... People often mention good, gluten, service, buffet, staff, restaurant,

We had a really terrible experience with the service here. We got a seat right away and were able to check out the menu, which had helpful markings, including gluten-free. Unfortunately, the only item actually marked was the gluten-free bread. So, I checked out the buffet. I let a waiter know about my allergy and he said he could show me the items in the buffet I could eat. He started to translate the names on the cards (“pork,” “vegetables” etc) but I told him I needed to know what items contained gluten. He popped over to the kitchen to ask the chef what contained gluten. This is where it started to get bad—the chef said that everything in the buffet contained gluten. I asked the waiter to ask about specific items, like the plantains or the vegetables—what ingredients had gluten in those? (80% of the food in this buffet looked gluten free unless the chef had a strange way of preparing them, doubly so for traditional Mayan recipes.) The waiter refused to ask again and said I could order off of the menu. We showed him how there were no foods marked gluten-free except the bread. He insisted that many it was the only item without gluten. I tried to explain where gluten came from—flour, bread, etc. In order for all of the items from this kitchen to contain gluten, the chef would have had to have sprinkled flour over every item before it came out. The waiter again insisted that the chef had told him everything contained gluten and it must be true. He would not ask the kitchen again. The waiter suggested I stick to the salad menu and we could see if the croutons could be left out. We had to leave because it was clear they did not want to serve me food—there was no guarantee even that salad would be safe for me to eat. I cannot tell you how demoralizing it is to go to a restaurant with beautifully prepared food in a French fusion style with well-educated staff who refuse to serve me because of an allergy. We were lied to at this restaurant because the staff did not want to put in any more than the basic effort to keep its guests safe. This food may look good, but the restaurant is not concerned with respecting its customers or supporting their health. I hope they make serious changes here.

Really good food! We had dinner. Ambience and service was amazing. We had as many as 3 wait staff helping us due to the smaller crowds at Sunday dinner. I built my own fettuccini Alfredo. Large portion, very good. Q117 Wife had a California salad, very good with papaya. Family had churasco plate. Pricing was reasonable for the portion and I will definitely eat here again.

I had a lovely meal here. They have quiet an expensive buffet which looked very inviting but I came for the house made pasta. This was delicious and perfectly cooked. The seafood ontop was also very good and not over done. For dessert we tried their creme Brule which was perfect. Both the main meal and the dessert were very large portions. I would not recommend their ice cream. The restaurant can be busy and moments the service slow but come to enjoy the food and you will not be disappointed.

People with allergies or food sensitivities beware. I tried to eat here with my girlfriend who has a gluten sensitivity. The staff seemed unsure if any of their food, except gluten free bread, was gluten free. It made me uneasy how little the kitchen staff seemed to understand the ingredients that go into any given dish. I would not trust this place to prepare any dish for a person with a food sensitivity or allergy.

A great experience from when we walked in. The servers and hosts were excellent, showed us to our seats and checked up on us often but not overwhelmingly. The menu has items marked for spicy, vegetarian, and local as well, which I thought was very neat. I ordered the chicken poke bowl, but I felt it was lacking in flavor, but presentation was very nice. The person I was with ordered a chicken dish with cheese and mashed potatoes blended with basil, which was great in both taste and presentation. Would come here again.

Belongs to an hotel and is an ok for us which had breakfast. You can have the buffet option which may be a good option but if you are not too hungry and have something simpler is good enough a la carte.

Lovely place, not crowded and quite good food. The restaurant is very American modern. The open kitchen allows everyone to see the cooks and food being prepared. Nicely decorated and comfy seats The food is solid good. I had 2 soups... which was a mistake on my part. Each bowl, although doesn’t look that big, they are filling and perfect for a full meal. Seafood casserole is a nice tomato broth over seafood, Kak ik (I think) is a local meat based soup on rice reminds me of gumbo in a Latin way. All very good. Happy eating

😐 The food is good, but the service should improve, the staff doesn't like to assist, you need to call the waiters several times.
