We just stayed in this hotel. We went for a private wedding and beware!!! I'm not sure if it's the same people that work there because we had one of our friends stay in the room. And I guess who ever tried opening the door thought that no one was in the room, they tried opening it one time. A few minutes later someone came and pushed the door like trying to break in.!!!

It is an incredible hotel, I was a little hesitant because of some negative comments I saw here, but I took a chance and it was an excellent option. The hotel is beautiful, large, with a touch of luxury, quite clean and cozy. The rooms are quite large, beds comfortable (I would just add a little more lighting) as they are a little dark but from there the rooms are perfect. The hotel offers buffet breakfast from 6 AM to 9.00 AM, all well stocked and delicious. It also has a Jacuzzi on the terrace on the 18th floor that is delicious to relax for a while. It is located in a very good area and the staff from reception, waiters and cleaning staff are extremely friendly. Definitely when we return to Guatemala it is the first option.

The room we booked was dirty, beat up and noisey -- but when we informed the front desk they were great and upgraded us to a cleaner and very large room on the 17th floor. Great view with a small balcony. The included breakfast was fine. Hotel probably ready for refurbishing. Rpg restaurant pricey and underwhelming.

The hotel is a little dated, but two things stood out: 1. Be sure to get a margarita from the hotel bar (best margarita I've ever had). 2. The staff customer service is top notch!!

Good service. I had to change rooms due to a detail in the shower but they resolved it immediately.

Considering this is a world famous chain of hotel's I was disappointed at my stay. The location was in a great part of town, with great views of the mountains. We could see Fuego erupting over the range. It was beautiful. Service was great until breakfast, which I thought there could have been more hot options for those who do not eat pork. Out of five dishes only one did not have pork and that was plantain in syrup. The service didn't tell me where to find the coffee, I only figured it out as I was leaving. My room had a beautiful view. It had all the furnishings and fixtures that you expect from a Radisson group hotel. However, I was disappointed to find that there were long hairs all over the floor in the bathroom and I didn't have any cutlery or even a stirrer for my coffee facility. Cleanliness and tea or coffee are basics in all hotels, it's a shame that a well known chain such as this could not get this right.

We arrived very late, perfectly easy check in. The room we had 1108 which was enormous. Very comfortable! Amazing view. Great experience and a wholesome breakfast. The only tiny criticism was when we went for breakfast it was a little sparse of food. But really, really good experience!

Overall Our stay at the Radisson in Guatemala City was pleasant and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay went well. They were very attentive to our needs when we raised concerns with our room. We had a couple of minor issues (1) the hot water wasn’t working properly in the bathroom initially but this was promptly addressed and (2) the toilet wasn’t flushing properly but we managed by flushing 2-3 times after each use and (3) the free internet was not working. Breakfast was delicious and after some help from the front desk the Radisson Public Wifi functioned fine. The neighborhood is safe with easy access to amenities.

Very bad windows, you hear everything. People are allowed to drink alcohol everywhere - I didn't want to stay at a place, where you have disrespectful guests everywhere. The beds are confy, the room is big and the breakfast was good. The staff saw us come FROM OUR WEDDING and didn't say A WORD TO US... isn't it normal to get like a "congratulations on your wedding" or maybe something to drink on the house?! Next time I am choosing another hotel, where the stuff and the guests know how to be respectful.

Had a bad experience there. We booked our stay with a third-party website and when we arrived tired and in the middle of the night after our flight was delayed, we were not given the room we paid for. We were told that the pictures were inaccurate and that it was our fault for not booking directly with them. We were put into a tiny room when we had paid for a premium suite. I will not mention the name of the website because I do not believe it's their fault. 2 nights later my daughter hurt her head badly and needed ice on and off round the clock to reduce the swelling. We desperately needed the suite because it comes with a refrigerator/freezer and we had been given a gel pack that would need to be kept there in between uses. I realized that they have a contract with the third-party company we used an therefore, must honor the purchase we made. I talked to a different employee about the issue that night and she immediately corrected the situation. I was able to take care of my daughter and she recovered well. I am forever grateful to Ms. M. Alvarez for her assistance. However, I will not be going back there because we were initially taken advantage of and ripped off. It's too bad because the restaurant staff is great and the food is amazing.

There is a group that pays to review hotels, they say they pay for this and take advantage of other people's time. And they are the ones who win from this. shameless people

Most of the rooms are beautiful. There are some rooms from the old hotel. Those rooms are like dungeons; gloomy, no natural light, old curtain showers, and simply unappealing. I would rate those rooms a 1.5 out of 5. The new rooms although very modern and beautiful, with beautiful views, lack functionality. The showers have no warm water; it's either freezing cold or scorching hot. The showers have no place for putting your shampoo or soap while you shower. You have limited control over your AC. Desk without a chair. I had to request a chair for work. And simply a lot of things that they don't foresee the guest might need, like a second bottle of water, a larger soap bar. They are small even bu hotel soap size standards. Additionally, I had a situation late at night, because I could not find a cab to bring me back to the hotel, and I called the hotel. Even though the staff was there, they did not answer the phone. The staff, although friendly, is not there to help you. They are there to follow hotel policy, even at the expense of customer satisfaction.

In general good hotel for business purposes if one is traveling to Guatemala City. It is relatively close to the airport. It has good service and attention to guests. Perhaps, restaurant meals and service could be improved. As, in my opinion, better restaurants are at a walking distance from the hotel and hence hotel restaurant loses guests frequently.

I'm confused how this Radisson is a"4 star hotel". I, as my profile shows, I have reviewed more than a dozen hotels and motels. I'll be frank: I've been to motels, having nicer rooms than this Radisson. My experience of this particular one, was that the room was EXTREMLY outdated. Conclusion is 2,5 stars. Sorry, but I have to be truthful.

I have been visiting Guatemala City for business trips in the last years, and I have been using other facilities services. In the moment I discovered Radisson Hotel and Suites I new this was the place to stay. Even if you are looking where to stay with your family, this is the place, rooms are huge, and huge it is huge, breakfast is very good, room service is fast even in hours not common to order a meal. There is a coffee maker inside the room, ❤️ with a very good Guatemalan Blend, water bottles are there when you arrive in the night. Internet service is really fast.

So you may not be aware but there are panoramic views on the 19th Floor as well as a jacuzzi. The executive suites and balconies are breathtaking. The rooms are spacious. The aesthetic is amazing. You must stay here at least once

I recently purchased a prepaid one-night stay for the radisson on Expedia. The next morning I noticed an additional $45 charge on my credit card. Upon checkout I reported the problem to the front desk and was told it was a room upgrade charge even though I showed her that the picture of the room on the expedia confirmation was identical to the room that I stayed in. She called her manager (who was not present in the hotel) and they agreed that it was a mistake and that they would issue me a refund later that day. I was asked to leave my email address and they would send a confirmation. 10 days later and after multiple messages left at the hotel, I have not received a refund and have not received a reply from anyone at the hotel.

They charged me for services I didn't use. The business center costs $10 an hour. I used it for one hour. They charged me $65 on my final bill. Also, the free internet doesn't work, so they force you to buy the $10 a day high-speed internet. Both of the treadmills in the gym are broken.

I stayed in January 2022. And I was really skeptical after reading the bad reviews but I had a really nice experience with the radisson. When I check in the clerk upgraded me to a suite for free, the room was beautiful, clean, and everything was new, free breakfast and very friendly staff. Thank you Radisson!

Very large and modern room, very good free breakfast buffet. Ice cold AC and super quiet while inside room. The location is great, so many things to do within walking distance.

Went for drinks at the bar. Asked for an aperol spritz and was brashly told they didn’t have all the ingredients to make it. All this while I can see they did. The bar tender was really rude I’m not sure if someone else ruined his day or what but it was took out on us. Lame!!

Our room's window was glazed over. Two light bulbs were out. The room was very dark. Our original type of room was out of service. We waited and were not greeted upon arrival. Basic customer service was lacking.. Restaurant service was excellent.

Bad service. Kept me waiting hours for my room, ran out of masks, repeatedly asked the same questions, very rude comments, just not well managed.

Huge suite, could have been a bit cleaner as I noticed hand prints on doors, handles and such... thankfully I travel with my own wipes.

Many (most?) Rooms are updated and top notch. Beautiful views with the floor to ceiling windows. Faux hardwood floors. Huge TVs. Sadly the WiFi is slow at 1 Mbit and the water pressure is the lowest I have ever seen. Just a trickle - couldn’t really shower. Reception also charges you 22% tax (that’s fine but too high) and a 8% currency conversion fee that can’t be waived if you pay with a credit card. Staff is not exactly helpful.

What you see in the pictures is not what you get from my experience. I stayed at their premium studio suite. The room did have a patio with patio furniture but the patio wasn't outside l, it was an extension of the room. There was no sunlight since the room had no windows. It was spacious yes. But it felt like a prison. Now let's talk about the amenities. On the website of Orbitz and the hotels listed website it stated that the room had a coffee maker, free water and a refrigerator. It only provided the water. I had to ask for the refrigerator and for the coffee maker. I only got the refrigerator. The staff was nice but I wouldn't go back there. My stay there was far from enjoyable. Honestly I would just stay at the Holiday Inn next door if you need to be in that area.

We stayed here during our last visit in Guatemala City for a couple of nights. The hotel is ok. The service needs to improve a bit more. Rooms are clean, they have a little terrace with a small pool. With nice views of the city. Breakfast was included and ok 👌🏻

Service here was downright dangerous. Promised in house covid testing then cancelled at last minute causing me to scramble last minute to get tested before my flight. Overall hotel is dingy, poorly lit and not worth the price. So many good hotels in the city be smart and pass this one by.

For what they charge and comparing to the other Radissons, this one was pretty sad. Walls were dirty, carpet was damp and sheets felt plasticky. Staff was nice.

Once arriving to the hotel I was obligated to pay an additional $45 fee for my mom who was traveling with me. I was told this is for extra breakfast. We were checking out before the kitchen was even open. I was never disclosed this in the booking and this was a non-refundable room so either I lose $140 and book elsewhere or fork up $45.

The rooms were so clean, large and beautiful. The service was TOP notch. The breakfast was amazing and we even had lunch waiting on our room to be ready. The cafe had top star food and the service was outstanding. The room has spacious areas and the view of the city is outstanding. We will be back again.
