Where the edges of zones 4 and 1 come together is where you'll discover the Conquistador. More tourist friendly than local friendly. Really nice brunch on Sundays. They let me charge my cellphone while passing by. Thank you.

My recent stay was remarkable. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor made me feel welcomed and well-cared. The location is a great advantage, in a prime area of Guatemala City.

Very spacious Hotel, currently remodeling to even have greater bedrooms. But overal before that, was still and excellent choice for a place to stay at.

Horrible, its rooms are very old for the price they have, the air conditioning didn't work and the lighting in the room was very bad. I would never return and its staff is very bad

Older hotel. Large room. Bed was good, but on the smaller side - I'd say a double, not a queen. Beautiful wood floors. The internet was down most of the time we were there, which was inconvenient. It worked only in the lobby, so we sat in the lobby to finalize some travel arrangements.

Clearly an older hotel (1979) that hasn't been updated since built, but clean. They do appear to be renovating their resturant. You are however fairly close to a plaza with several restaurants and a grocery store. Does have some mold issues in the bathroom that should be resolved in my opinion. Addressing some reports: claims it has black out curtains and it doesn't, they don't even cover the window. Not soundproof, could hear people in hallway. Balcony basically contains AC unit, although some rooms look like they may be bigger. I was supposed to be in a standard double with two beds, but I only had one bed and it wasn't a king, so not sure what room I had. Wifi isn't great, can lose service at times. Pool area doesn't have lounge chairs, but does have chairs and tables. Overall for the price its not too bad. Like I said the room itself is clean, just clearly dated.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, can’t complain at all based on standards of a developing country like Guatemala. Hotel personnel does their best to be professional and to present the hotel as a professional venue for conferences and hospitality. I wish rooms had a coffee maker. But 7th floor does have a free purified water dispenser, so that was good. Wifi was a bit slow but then it got better. It’s not a complaint; just an observation. I really didn’t suffer with the wifi. Hot water DOES work but give it about 6 minutes to heat to satisfaction and it heats nicely. The location is perfect. It’s about 1 block from Migracion (walking distance.) if you REALLY like to walk (like me) then you can walk up to Parque Colon (3km) and back. Parking is in the parking deck attached to the hotel and is super convenient (free too as long as you don’t lose your voucher 😄) Check out is 12pm but I was allowed to leave the car there until 2pm while I went to run some extra errands. VERY SAFE 😄

The staff were helpful and good. It's close to the immigration office and not very far from the airport, which they offer a free shuttle to and from. Our room had a nice view and was a reasonable price. There's a couple of nearby restaurants and they have a pretty nice restraunt inside, and a sports bar in the back.

Great customer service. Rooms are a little outdated but for the price of the room, you can’t complain. The hotel has a great location. Get the $9 breakfast, it is totally worth it!

My four days stay was good. The "chapin" breakfast is delicious ($8 per person). The standard room is very basic. It has no mini fridge. The bed is comfortable (average). The spa was not avaliable (despite they said to me it was) I went directly by instructions of the front desk guy and there was nobody to attend the guests. The pool was closed (covid reason). I got what I paid ($50/night)

I loved our experience. Staff was kind And helpful food was decent. Within walking distance to a grocery store. Room was big with room to set our dirty stuff outside.

Our experience was extremely delightful, full of friendly and helpful staff. We were welcomed from the beginning and were greeted with much enthusiasm. I was with my family and our rooms were together and the rooms were very nice and spacious. The front desk service did all of the work for us that includes: driving us to the airport, ordering us food, providing COVID-19 testing information, and simply being above and beyond. We all felt safe in our Hotel and during COVID-19 times, they were following safety precautions. THANK YOU!

Great location, nice rooms with lots of space, nice staff, it was a shame rest and pool were closed due the pandemic

Although the hotel is a little out dated it has the best staff which is the reason why it deserves five stars. My husband and I have stayed in several hotels and the service we recieved here does not compare to any other hotel. They have the nicest, most caring, and respectful staff always willing to help. The hotel itself was very clean and so were the rooms. The location also made it great. If we are ever in the city again we will definitely stay here.

Service and employees are very polite and helpful. Hotel is a 3 star. Rooms are old. Pool is nice. Hotel food is very good but portion size is small and very pricey. Breakfest buffet is alright. Pool is nice. Fitness center is nice but closed on the weekends! For the price of the room per night I would return.

It was a great stay amazing price and food. We were on the second tower and my sister was going down to the lobby to grab the food that we ordered, then of course she whent to the floor we where on but it stopped on the 4th floor. She got out looked around and it was pitch black and red from the exit signs. She got back in the elevator and when to our room to tell us so we were asking the rest of our family to come so while theyvwere doing that, me, my brother, and my cousin where all the way at the back and thats when my brother noticed that the 4th floor button was already pressed.

It’s a Guatemalan icon dating way back and it has the old feel charm. It brings back memories of the past. The staff is amazing, they were incredibly helpful. The event was quite large and they were very accommodating.
