Westin Camino Real hotel is absolutely a five star hotel. In addition to upholding a high level of service it also offers unique amenities not commonly seen in other hotels, I.e., squash and tennis courts, a gallery, etc. The rooms are spacious, well-designed, comfortable, and clean. The service is excellent - staff is helpful and assures that hotel guests’ needs are met. The hotel’s lobby is beautiful. The spa, swimming pool and exercise areas are pleasant and large. Highly recommend.

It's a good hotel, very standard for all Westin hotels, rooms were nice, beds were good, some small things may need refurbishing, but nothing major. Breakfast is one of the best buffet breakfasts I've had in many years... It's absolutely amazing!!! Only for this, it's totally worth it. Location is also super central.

An excellent hotel with convenient location in Guatemala City. It’s in the safest area of zone 10 in Guatemala City and it’s only 10 minutes from the airport. We love the hotel as it’s clean and modern. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean and fresh. The famous Westin comfort beds helped us to have a good night sleep. For those of you like to have big breakfast in the morning, El Cafetal has a very extensive breakfast buffet to feed the hungry guests. We just love their fresh coconut drinks and the local and french pastries. By the time we finished our breakfast, we were stuffed and didn’t need to eat lunch. Like many of you, I like to work out in the morning. This hotel has a very big gym with comprehensive weight sets and machines. I was surprised with the size of the gym in this hotel. It’s like a regular membership gym in our neighborhood in the States. The staff are also amazing. They were very eager to help us to make us feel at home. we love this hotel and we will come back to stay here for our next visit.

The rooms are dated. Beds are rock solid/firm. Funky smell from the cleaning solution used. Otherwise the staff goes above and beyond with any request. This is a full service property with on-site dining and laundry services.

There are so many nice little details about the Westin from the beautiful interior, to the pool, to how the rooms are cleaned and even your things are neatly laid out. The gym is very nice and the breakfast buffet is probably the best in town. If you are in Zone 10 stay here.

I Love this Westin in Guatemala City. It has a very classic decor with a modern and upbeat vibe. Very close to the Airport - my Uber was less than $7 USD. Two restaurants and bars that feature local cuisine as well as the basics. The emphasis on wellness is superb. Get the energy drinks handmade from seasonal ingredients. The swimming pool and spa will help you after a hiking tour or site seeing tour. And the coffee - oh yes!

Beautiful hotel. Has a wonderful bar located on the main level. The pool is very beautiful also and matches the aesthetics of the hotel.

This is a solid 4-star hotel. The room was a bit dated with a very noisy A/C, but the bed was comfortable. There are a bunch of other hotels nearby, so it felt relatively safe walking around at night. The fitness center/sauna was a big plus! We didn’t want to to use the outdoor pool as it was too cold, but it looked nice. The breakfast buffet was great, though it was a bit pricey. Hertz rental car is located inside the hotel. It was a solid stay - I’d recommend it if you are in the area.

Phenomenal location ~5 mins from the airport. Accommodated us last minute when our flight was delayed and greeted us with such kindness and professionalism. The amenities can’t be beat (the pool is a must swim) and the restaurant is A1. Couldn’t recommend more

The hotel is better than it looks in the pictures. Location and service is great. We stayed there for five days and were truly impressed. Even room service would come in 5 minutes. The pool are is nice, and breakfast spread is decent.

Location was superb, right outside there's a trail for biking, running and walking. Walking distance to Oakland Mall and several Starbucks. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of choices to accommodate everyone. They made waffles, pancakes and french toast to order. The omelet station was awesome and quick. Overall I will definitely be returning for a longer stay. Loved that we didn't have to pay for an extra night, we had a late flight (11pm) and with my Marriott status got late check out until 3pm. We still had access to the entire resorts and ended up leaving our luggage with the front desk, swam in the pool then showered in the fitness center. The ladies room in the fitness center has a steam room and hair dryers along with relaxing chairs to rest.

I will stay at Westin again, food is great! Kinda expensive for locals but it’s good, rooms are great, amenities and service. Overall, this is a great choice regardless your visit to Guatemala. Definitely recommended !!

The hotel is already kinda old, but the reality is that the service, the food, the staff, the attention to every detail makes you feel like a 8 star hotel!!! So yeah ! Way over the 5 star hotel! People was so nice!

The hotel is excellent. The staff are amiable and helpful. The spa services and gym area are excellent. The breakfast buffet at the hotel is absolutely worth it.

Top notch Professional, safe and comfortable stay. Includes a delicious restaurant. Don't forget your bathing suit to relax in the seemingly heated pool and hot tub. The location is very near many restaurants and bars as well. I will be recommending this to others when staying Guatemala City. I was there to work at the extremely modern Oakland Mall which was only a 15 minute walk down the street.

This is a 5-star hotel in the heart of Zona Viva. I went to business gathering. The food was amazing and the service impeccable. I would whole-hearted recommend this place for parties and social gatherings

Rooms are spacious but with old furniture and bathroom had a bad smell (from either the plumbing or the toilet). Breakfast is pretty decent with a lot of choices (healthy and unhealthy) with good quality. The gym ia pretty good. Spacious and with complete set of equipment and even some classes (cycling, cardio etc...)

Every time I go to Guatemala city for any reason, this is my place to stay. From the front desk personnel to the crew that cleans the rooms, these folks make me feel at home. I've heard from friends that there are nicer hotels in Guatemala city and I don't doubt it. But if this hotel meets my demanding needs with a smile on their faces why change it? Great hotels and great service doesn't come together too often. This hotel meets both.

Very nice hotel, with great staff,, in a decent area with lots of different restaurants and shopping. My only complaint was that the included breakfast was a little lackluster. Other than that, the amenities were above par.

I was here for breakfast only. They offer omelette and several additional options, like beans, slides of fried banana delicious bread and fruit. Friendly people.

I recently booked a hotel room at the Westin Camino Real in Guatemala. My booked date was for a 1 night stay from 6/13/21-6/14/21. I notified Marriott (since they cover for Westin Hotels) that I ended up getting COVID-19 so I could not travel and stay at the hotel. I did not contact the hotel directly since my cell phone plan does not allow me to call outside the USA to Guatemala. Marriott informed me that they would cancel my hotel reservation and also stated that I would not receive a refund or any credit voucher for a future hotel stay. The lady that I spoke to was rude in her demeanor while relaying this message. I was shocked by Marriott’s refund/hotel credit denial response especially since there is currently a pandemic and I was being responsible by not traveling and following my quarantine recommendations. I currently work on the frontlines at a hospital putting myself at risk to help others during the pandemic and this was disappointing that Marriott did not help me when I ended up getting COVID-19. This resulted in me losing $125.66. Given my experience, I will not be recommending any hotel chains owned by Marriott especially Westin.

So overly luxurious that it becomes really tacky.

Great Place for hosting Expos and Parties, there is a nice and cozy restaurant inside the hotel that serves good food, it is close to the pool. The granite in the corridors and walls makes you feel in a Royal Palace, it gives an elegant touch to the place

Well run hotel. Nice tropical-like pool area. Everything clean. Friendly staff. Nice rooms. Great area to walk around safely until about 7 PM. Nice mall 15 mins away on four. Lots of restaurants and fast food around the hotel. Only semi-negative is the buffet breakfast is pretty average.

Loved this hotel and its people. Super clean, very well located, great service, beautiful installations and great food. I got sick during my stay (nothing to do with the hotel) and the restaurant made food specially for me. 5 out of 5 stars, totally recommended

Great customer service. A lot better than the rest of the hotels in Guatemala. They always try to help with anything that you asked for. Love it!

This is probably a 3 star and dfntly not a 5 star. PROS: decent breakfast spread. Great greek stake restaurant on premise. CONS: absurd policy of not sharing points with customer, when the booking is done with assistance from travel agency. Not clean room and small one. Amenities not provided in room. Coffee maker with no supplies. Not the right bathroom supplies.

This is such a beautiful hotel with an amazing staff. We are so grateful to have stayed here and recommend it to everyone. The rooms are gorgeous and the lobby is stunning. The service and room service is amazing. They noticed it was my partner‘s birthday and showed up at our door with cake and a hand drawn card. Total happy surprise. Juan Pablo & his staff were so welcoming. Can’t wait to come back!

If I could put a -0 review I would. My husband went out on an excursion all and returned late at night. He took pictures of how he left his room and put a tag outside the door for no one to go in. It turns out they did go in. They took his stuff and wanted to charge him again at the front desk (which they did I checked the bank account). I called to ask for a refund and they told me to email the MANAGER! I don't understand why they can just do it over the phone. All I want is my refund for the other two nights he booked, thinking this was a trusted place to stay. Sometimes the places that look the worst are the best places to stay because at least they have morals.

Rooms are in need of a refresh. Beautiful entryway and lobby. Their breakfast buffet has no equals in Guatemala City. Large complete gym. Centrally located.

After traveling to Guatemala City for a few years can say this is easily the best hotel I’ve found. Not only that but it’s one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Friendly staff, clean rooms, accommodating amenities, everything one would want away from home while still retaining that Guate charm.
