Clean, spacious, pleasant B&B situated close to La Aurora (GUA) airport. Wonderfully comfortable bed, delicious fresh cooked breakfast, and comfortable lounging areas. A great option if you are arriving late into La Aurora and don't fancy trying to do middle-of-the-night travel to other parts of Guatemala.

Great hotel, really nice rooms and they were very accommodating when I needed to leave luggage. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Guatemala City

Wonderful host! I arrived with bad food poisoning from El Paredon and Magdalena was so supportive, going above and beyond to make sure I was ok and messaging me when I was in hospital. I was so impressed and would highly recommend.

Because of roadblocks and protests, I didn’t get into Guatemala City until 1am. I had to make a last minute reservation with them, and they allowed me to do it at 11pm. I called them just to be sure someone would wait for me and the lady was super nice and said she’d wait for me. I was given a great room, (shared bathroom which I don’t love but it caused NO problems). Room was clean, amazingly quiet despite the airplanes overhead. The bathroom is an olive green color which, in the pictures, is not very attractive, but it was clean, had HOT water (I had an amazing shower) and liquid hand soap and shower gel. Breakfast was served at 8:20. Eggs, refried beans, plantains… simple, you know. They didn’t have milk for the coffee which disappointed me but I guess those are things we just have to deal with and move on. The hostel offers courtesy rides to the airport (3 minute drive) during the day. This is a COURTESY so the driver should not charge you. You can tip him if you wish. If anyone tells you it costs 50 quetzales for a ride, this is NOT true if you were a guest at the hostel. So don’t be mislead. Do tip if you wish.

A hidden gem. Good service and love the little eating area. A very nice garden and nice view from the room.

Excellent place to stay to get to the airport. The owner is wonderful. She gave us suggestions and helped us order food delivery for dinner. The place was clean and comfortable! We used a shared bathroom. The water was nice and hot! Wifi was good! She offers a free shuttle ride to or from the airport.

The rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. They have a lovely patio that you can eat breakfast in. Wish we could have stayed more than one day, we’ll be staying there in the future!

The owner is so nice. I felt like she was my mom. Taking care that I woke up for my 6am free drive to the airport and gave me a bag of breakfast. The rooms are standard and there is a nice common area. Recommend if you need a place to stay near the airport- it’s 4 min drive and you get a free drive to/from.

OH Espana was one of the best stay we had in Guatemala for several reasons. First, the establishment is very nice, clean and located in a gated community, thus very safe. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. We had to extend our stay due to an issue with our flight. OH Espana was fully booked but they help us to find another place to stay 1 block away for the same price and conditions. The room was big (we had the "Madrid" one), the bed huge (fat king size) and super comfy. They have free shuttle to the airport (5min away) and you can use the kitchen. There is also a small terrace and a garden. The propriety is sparkling clean and freshly renovated. As it's close to the airport, it's obviously a bit noisy with the planes taking off and landing. But this is the price to pay if you want to be 5 min away... So fundamentally nothing to complain about here.

We felt right at home. The place was very clean and comfortable. We had to check in early and that was not a problem. When we had to leave early for the airport a nice breakfast with fresh strawberrys, cereal and yogurt was packed for us. Love this place.

This little hotel is a great option when traveling on a budget. It is located very centric in Guatemala City and the proximity to the airport is a major plus. The staff is wonderful - Magdalena who runs it is very nice and goes out of her way to make you feel at home. The hotel was super clean. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Guatemala City. This is my spot for all my future visits to Guatemala City.

😠 This the worst hostel I've been to in Guatemala and the owner is one the worst guy I've ever met. We booked in advance two beds in a dorm but when we arrived the owner rudely told us to wait without willing to tell us why. After 1h30 waiting, thanks to a nice volunteer that was working there (the ow...
