Bigfoot is one of the top rated hostels and for good reason. It's got everything you could ask for in a hostel with nice clean and comfortable rooms, a bar/restaurant, beerpong and salsa nights, pool and ping-pong tables, but most importantly easily the nicest staff of anywhere I've stayed. Seriously. I have spent 10 nights here total, in the private and dorm rooms and both are great. If you want not just a place to stay but a place that will make your time in Antigua even better, stop looking and start booking before it's too late.

Nice spot, just completely ruined by the unnecessary music that was played at all hours by the staff. The bar only consisted of friends of the staff who hung around until early hours of the morning. If you not really interested in sleep then everything else about this spot is good

Nice hostel! However, all the private rooms face the common/public area. Thus it's very noisy until the early hours of the morning. After a 2 day hike, or a 12 hour, it's almost impossible to relax

I enjoyed my stay here, but the noise aspect really made things tough. As a party hostel, you expect a lot of noise. However, when you got out the night before and the music starts BLASTING at 9AM, it’s pretty frustrating. The staff was awesome, all very helpful. You just gotta turn the music down a bit when it’s not party time!

It is a good place to stay on and the night is very cheap.

Lovely hostel in Antigua, fun bar and great staff. Very centrally located. Great place to meet other travellers but also locals. The weekly beerpong on Thursday has a 100 USD 1st place price, too bad I did not win..Next time!

If you like the idea of sleeping in a bar, with music blaring that starts at 11am, this is the place for you. I was stupid and booked a bunch of nights here cause I thought it seemed quiet during the day (I was there at 1030 am when I booked, just before the music started) and I liked that there was a kitchen; but I got super sick a couple days in and needed somewhere quiet to go so I could actually SLEEP. The staff were totally not understanding at all and the amount of money I lost to this place is probably my biggest travel regret yet. Lesson learned. I would not recommend sleeping here.

Highly recommend if you are looking to meet new people. Staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. They all speak English if your Spanish is lacking. Stayed in a private room which was exceptional. Food is delicious too!

The facilities are decent and the bar can be fun. I'm giving them one star because the manager and the guy that works the graveyard shift there were extremely rude to me and made me pay double for the night because I brought a friend of mine who was not staying there into my dorm room for about 5 minutes so that she could charge her phone. They have really strict policies and don't treat their guests with respect.

This is a great place for those who looking to party and meet new people. The staff at the desk are smiling and helpful, and nothing g you ask of them is too much. Private rooms on the top floor have stunning views of the volcanoes. Also there is availablility to reserve an excellent shuttle service. If you are still there on a Sunday there is great opportunities to take part in fun activities

Great hostel, excellent location right in the middle of the city center. Every night they have different free activities, make sure you join the beerpong tournament on Thursday! Staff is awesome!!!

The staff here are so friendly and helpful. They have bunkrooms AND private rooms. There are always fun activities in the evenings, especially on weekends. Good food too.

I was meant to stay two nights but ended up only staying one night. Realistically this hostel wasn't for me, there was a large speaker essentially next to my bunk bed playing very loud music till late. Bed was comfy, but it was sold as a four bed dorm and it was an eight bed with no AC on either. It's billed as a social hostel but in reality noone really made conversation with me and people kept to themselves. Might be better if you're in a group but not good for a solo traveller.

👍👍 A must-see and do in Guatemala. This is not only a restaurant but also a museum and garden. The food is phenomenal. The views from all angles of this large location are amazing. If there is a long wait to eat, don't worry. It takes about an hour to walk the property and enjoy what it has to offer.

👍👍 We love Luna de Miel and have come here three times on three separate visits to Antigua- we live in the capital. My husband has ordered the Chipotle twice, and the Tejana. I’ve had the Creciente, Parisina, and I honestly can’t remember the first one I ordered a couple years ago, but they’ve all been...

😠 Worst food I ate in Guatemala, avoid this place. Took 40 mins for a deep fried dog food.
