A paradise in the middle of a crowded and disorganized city. The hot springs are due to the activity of the Pacaya Volcano, pretty close to the place. Because we were arriving in the area after driving for more than 6 hours, we bought an evening package that included 1 hour of massage, hot water pools, jacuzzis, a drink, towels, showers, etc. we paid around 60 dollars each person. It was invigorating. The spa structure is comparable or even better than places in developed countries. My massage therapist was called Liliana. She was very helpful and relieved the pain I had in my body, especially the legs (we hiked Chicabal Volcano), helping me to have better days ahead in my last days of trip to Guatemala. Thank you!

We reserved in advance for a private jacuzzi and sauna via Whatsapp to celebrate valentines day here. We took the day off of work, and drove one hour from our home to enjoy the day here. When we arrived, we discovered they had zero records of our reservation , and had in fact given away our spot to another customer. They tried to offer us other packages, all of which were significant downgrades from our original reservation. Considering we had booked well in advance, and spoken directly with a receptionist to make our booking, This type of error is inexcusable.

If you have to spend some days in Amatitlan or the neighborhood, this place it's worth to stay. Not cheap. The location, on the top of a hill, is amazing, as well as the rooms are. Two small pools, one warmer, availables day and nigth, a massage spa and sauna with small individual rooms. Kind staff. The restaurant is nor bad nor amazing. It has limited choices, but the "churrasco de puiazo" is very good. Beware, the big pools from the site photos are not available for the normal guests. They can be booked by groups of people, 5 or 10, or by families, to spend there a nice time (2 hours). Can be good for birthdays. A little noisy early on the morning, because of the town traffic, down the hill.

A friend brought me here as a birthday surprise and the entire day was overall amazing! I️ love that they escort you to each of your next services and there is always someone close if you have a question. It seemed that every one of their employees spoke English. I️ have to rate this a 4 for a few reasons. It’s in a very strange area to get to! While we were doing the thermal circuit the spa itself had a great feel but was disrupted by the sounds of heavy traffic and honking of large trucks. My friend purchased the Uber package, where they reimbursed for our Uber ride there and doubled that amount to give her cash. I’m not sure the exact cost but that is a cool feature. When it was time for lunch we sat outside and were given a menu for their main restaurant. My friend had me ask to get the other menu as the information she found said there were 2 restaurants. Our server said that no there was only one and as we explained that she saw the other menu he found a supervisor and the other restaurant actually belongs to the hotel at the top of the hill. He was very accommodating and drove us to the hotel so we could eat lunch there, and that truly made the experience amazing. One down point is that our package did not “include” the use of robes. We had to ask 5 times before we received the robes, we didn’t care that there was an extra charge, it was just uncomfortable that every other person had a robe and we did not.

Such a beautiful place! One hour drive from Antigua, assuming no major traffic backups. The spa arranged our transportation to and from our Airbnb. My friends and I got the thermal circuit package which included the thermal circuit pools (wonderful experience where you rotate between pools of varying temps, with a staff member keeping track of when you need to move, at certain time intervals), a 60-min massage (sooo nice), and sauna access (we ran out of time and never found them?). To the latter point, my group of friends had only limited Spanish speaking abilities, so there were a few communication barriers, and we would have benefited from more of an introduction to the facilities, bc we realized there were certain areas we were or were not supposed to access given our package and it wasn’t obvious to us as newcomers. Overall, though, a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend.

So, I'm not sure if they get many international tourists, so be prepared to Speak in Spanish. That said, I loved our time in the pools and our massage. We also had lunch, and it was also solid. It a nice place to spend a little time after hiking a volcano.

I've been to way better hot springs. Only one cold spring and 8 in total. Smoothies are not real and too sweet, food mediocre at best. Wouldn't come back to visit due to experiencing way better spring and I guess I had high expectations after reading all the reviews.

I loved the experience, and the staff was great and very helpful with my handicapped mother. I give them a 10. The food was very tasty also.

No sulfur smell as in real volcano waters. Waters might be mixed with Clorox and sulfur . The feeling between hot and cold and warm pools it's quite an experience as is also the beauty and cleanliness of the place. Breakfast was delicious.

I mean. This place is amazing. My go-to in Guatemala. Clean. Friendly. Safe. Not over crowded. You can tell the owner and staff take pride in their work and it shows.

This place is amazing. We went for a relaxing massage. We experienced the pool circuit. They start you up with a very hot water pool, then to a freezing cold, then to a chilled water pool and then to a room temperature water pool... then repeat. Amazing!! Then, I got the desired massage. It was an excellent experience. The people at the reception were very friendly and very pleasant! The pricing for 2 was the best part. Definitely recommended.!!!

Really nice hotel and thermal pools. We stayed in the habat room and it was very nice and clean. The food was good and staff very nice and helpful. It isn’t in the best neighborhood but the compound seemed safe and secure. My only complaint was the pools and restaurant seemed to close early (4pm) but we were there on a weekday. We would come back!

Everyone is so kind and helpful! The massages were great, but the language barrier could cause some issues. The different sections/levels were nice to help escape the crowded areas. Great service and such a bargain for the price.

Added it on after our tour 300 Quetzales appromixately $40 Included lunch (club sandwich, pizza, bbq chicken, or hamburger) access to 7 pools heated to different temperatures and 1 jacuzzi. There was also a smoothie included. The smoothie was great and food was okay.

Great experience, the spa staff is well trained, providing great service. The saunas work on warm water coming from subterranean currents warmed by lava from a close volcano. Swimming pools are clean. This is the perfect place for relaxation and healing break.

What a great spa and massage! And the food was good, too! This spa is not new, and often seems to not be built for foreigners in terms of ceiling clearance in places, but overall was a great experience. We requested the massage package which included being directed to spend time in some of the pools that were hot and cold and mild. They asked if we wanted a deep massage and they delivered. I felt it for a few days in a very good way.

Amazing place to relax and disconnect from the world. I stayed there for 2 nights and they gave me a complete package at a decent price. First day we woke up early and climbed the Pacaya Volcano that lasted a couple of hours. Our guide was extremely good which i suggest you tip them because they work off tips. Came back to the hotel around 10am and it was time to start our therapeutic pools session. It involved jumping from pool to pool (4 of them to be exact) at different temperatures hot and cold for 10 mins and the final session of 5 mins each. My body felt great and rejuvenated the next day especially after climbing the volcano and Mayan ruins in tikal. After the pools we were escorted upstairs to start our 30 mins massage. The massage didn't disappoint. We followed that with a couple of beers and some really good food and we went to the bar located at our hotel. Our package included unlimited mixed drinks so it was safe to say were done by the end of the night lol. The view from the restaurant won't disappoint since you will have a open view of the volcano while you drink and dine. Overall I will come again next year.

It's kind of a difficult place to get to but it's worth it when you're there. Great place for massage and saun. We've never used the hotel.
