I
did
the
Pacaya
Tour,
I
had
a
blast!
It
was
an
amazing
experience!
You
meet
your
guides
at
their
office
and
then
they'll
take
you
to
San
Vicente
Pacaya,
which
is
a
1
hr
drive
from
Antigua.
The
first
stop
it's
at
their
office
where
they
give
you
a
demo
on
how
to
use
the
ATVs
and
do's
and
don't.
Then
you
drive
for
20
mins
or
less
to
the
National
Park,
leave
the
ATVs
there,
check-in
at
the
Park's
office
(the
ticket
fee
is
already
included)
and
they
give
you
a
ride
on
their
pick-up
very
close
to
the
summit!
You
hike
for
30-40
mins
to
the
crater
where
you
can
rest
and
heat
your
pizza
and
panini
on
the
volcano
vents!
Also,
a
full
lunch
is
included
with
Gatorade,
a
bottle
of
water,
snacks,
pizza,
panini,
chocolates
&
marshmallows!
The
view
from
there
is
AMAZING!
After
that,
you
go
back
to
the
ATV's
and
drive
to
the
petrified
lava
rivers
(you'll
be
impressed!),
the
way
to
get
there
is
the
best
part,
because
the
road
is
meant
for
4WD
vehicles
and
the
ATVs.
Thinking
that
last
year
was
over
1000
or
more
degrees
burning
everything
in
their
path!
(you'll
see
it
in
my
shared
pics!)
You
do
a
little
hike
and
appreciate
the
volcano
behind
you
and
the
sunset.
And
the
last
part
of
the
tour
is
visiting
the
wind
mills,
the
view
is
breathtaking!
You
can
see
the
huge
wind
mills
and
in
front
of
you,
the
Fuego
and
Acatenango
Volcanoes!
It's
quite
a
view!!!
I
totally
recommend
it!
The
guides
were
nice
and
friendly,
I
loved
the
full
service:
the
transportation,
food,
entrance
to
the
park
and
local
guide
and
equipment.
