It’s a scam. I payed Q$600 for Acatenango tour when all around town it costs Q$350 (I asked 18 other people in my tour). Not only this, but they didn’t have enough tents for us, so me and another guy from spain had to sleep in the storage. When I came back to talk about my experience they told me they can’t control those types of things and only gave me back Q$100…. Please try to avoid at all cost, also they only pay local guides Q$250 per group (mine was 19) so more than promoting local economy, it’ promoting local exploitation

Good prices and good service, the others were trying to lie all the time to us. These fellas were clear since the beginning so we felt better not only for the price but because the man in charge explained to us every detail. The tools us to Pacaya Vulcano, and later back to Antigua. The other service they gave us was taking us to Panajachel. Both trips were quiet and relaxing!

If you need to take a shuttle and you are more then 2 people it’s cheaper to just take Uber. Please do check the prices before booking shuttle with these guys. You will spend an hour driving around in town picking people up. Their bus is super hot they have air conditioning but they don’t use it to save money. Their prices are redicilous. If you want to climb a volcano There is about 15 companies who go there, if you book with local agency like everyone else through an agency in Antigua they take most of the money from the local guide who actually deserve the money. I did my research and I would strongly recommend you do it with a company called Expedición Volcán Acatenango they are based where you start the hike just contact them straight and do the hike for 350 and 550 for fuego included. They contact details are +50233262454 You can contact them via WhatsApp and they will collect you form your hotel/ hostel I strongly suggest you support the local people then these agencies.

Worst experience I had in one year of traveling. First, the shuttle arrived on time and we were on on our way to the airport. After 20 minutes of driving the the driver told us that we have to go back to Antigua to pick up more people. Back in Antigua we were told every 5 minutes that we are about to leave, but nothing happened and they made up stories of why we could not leave. Every guy was saying something different, so we knew they were not telling the truth. We told them we have to catch our flight but they did seem to care and said we can pay more for a private transfer if we want to. In the end (after being 70 minutes late already) we took an Uber and they refused to refund us.

Not bad .... often a little late to pick you up, and uncomfortable if you are one of the last passengers to get on, and you get one of their more worn out vehicles. But they get you there!

This guy's are great, fenomenal service and professionalism. Always on time and courteous. They do run a little higher than others but they make it easy and convenient to explore.

Very punctual and the drivers drive with a safety first priority. Adapted easily to changes we proposed

Edit: After leaving this review, Atitrans promptly reached out and reimbursed the second charge. Will increase score to 3 stars for making things right. I recently purchased transportation through Atitrans during my time in Guatemala. When purchasing my ticket online, my transaction somehow went through twice. Despite multiple conversations with the company where they said they would rectify the issue, they have failed to provide reimbursement for the second incorrect charge. While my shuttle experience itself was fine, I am very displeased with their poor communication and customer service and would not consider using them again.

Worst experience ever with a transport company. We had to catch a flight and the shuttle left on time. Then the driver told us we have to go back to the office because of some accident on the road. There, they told us different stories of why we are still not leaving Antigua after almost an hour ("we have to wait for three more people", "we have to take a bigger bus, because 7 more people are coming", "there was an accident and the only road to the airport is closed") After an hour, we said we'll take an Uber, but they refused to give us the money back and didn't believe "that we paid that much" (125 quetzales per person). So we took an Uber in the end and, surprise, the road was clear.

The transport itself ended up being fine, but the customer service experience for us was terrible and very confusing. I made a reservation and paid online (which I do NOT recommend) and in order to get a confirmation of the time and place of pick up and drop off I had to search for the Atitrans WhatsApp number myself, and wait for an answer which was just a text saying the time and the city name, not the actual pickup location. I then had to ask again for the location and clarify if they could pick us up at the AirBnB or not, to which I had to wait 3 days for a response (the answer is no by the way...) #1) It's frustrating to pay for something online and then have to go out of your way to get the information needed. The person who attended WhatsApp was reluctant at best to even answer my questions, and never actually sent me a confirmation or "voucher." #2) The first ride from Antigua - Panajachel they did NOT drop us off where they originally said they were going to. Their Panajachel office is NOT "2 blocks from the pier" Not walkable with luggage. So therefore, since we were at the office in Panajachel, I finally was able to ask in person for said receipt with locations for pick up and drop off because at this point I wasn't sure if the next scheduled ride was going to be from the location that I thought or somewhere else. When you're in Guatemala and don't know the area, you want to be sure of where you're going. #3) The man that attended me named Miguel immediately raised his voice and asked me what my reason was for distrusting them....He treated me with disrespect and I was very disappointed to be received in this way as a paying customer. I had to plead my case for him to give me a receipt and confirmation of a service I had already paid for. VERY disappointed in this customer service and we will not seek Atitrans services again.

Reliable, safe and trustworthy, Atitrans will get you from point A to B anytime you want to travel in Guatemala. I used them several time and they were always responsive, nice and delivering a great service. I even forgot my bag in a bus once, with cash, a camera and a kiddle. We'll, they brought it back and nothing was missing. Hence the 5 stars of this review.

They are accurate and collect in time. Only problem the price is higher than others. For example a trip to Monterrico is 525 q but other two companies do the same trip for 430 otherwise correct company, l recommend it.

Atlitrans made our trip to Atlitan super easy. We set up a private tour on short notice and they still managed to give us a great experience. Great service from the very beginning. Thank you to Angel who set up the trip. Byron our driver and Elias was our tour guide, Elias is the best tour guide. Update: We also did the Pacaya Volcano tour with them and they had a great price, tour guide was really helpful and nice her name is Rubí. We saved a lot of money choosing Atitrans.

👍👍 We did the ATV coffee tour and would totally recommend! The tour started promptly and the guides were helpful and explained how to use the ATVs. My friend rode by himself but I went with a guide because I didn’t want to drive one. We drove around the city streets and then to the coffee plant. They e...
