This is the best espresso in town. Believe me, I’ve tried the other good coffee places.

Best coffee shop we found during our trip to Antigua Guatemala. Went there twice. Quiet, calm atmosphere when we were there. Enjoyed their cortado and capucinno.

Our last class fee shop on our last day of our vacation. Wished we had stopped sooner. Coffee and service was excellent. They had an awesome game shelf for the kids to keep them entertained. Lots of places to work even a conference table type room.

Really good coffee and awesome environment. I mostly stick to black coffee and even then they have a variety of options of both origin and the way they make the coffee. Great other coffee drinks too, and the chai is really good! I often try something different and it is always amazing in both flavor and presentation. I also buy the coffee they roast there. It is very good in my coffee maker at home. The open mic nights are fun too!

Some of the best coffee we’ve ever had. My wife had a slow drip for the first time and was blown away! A small shop, but one with a big heart. Highly recommend stopping in here vs. the other cafes and coffee shops lining the more tourist lined streets.

Best coffee in Antigua! My wife and I tried about 20 cafes in our time here and this is the only one we returned to time and time again. They take coffee seriously and it shows. I wish I could buy their Atitlan beans back home. The owner is also a pleasant guy, donates some profits to charity, helps local communities, and speaks English, which always helps us non Spanish speakers. When we come back to Antigua, this will be our first stop.

I know the owner and operator of this good coffee shop. High integrity sums it up. They roast their own and I challenge you to get a better coffee anywhere. La Vid is casual and not intended for those in a hurry. It's a place to hang out with friends and be old school; that is, to visit. And your purchases here helps support very good works in and around the city.

Great atmosphere. Local art for sale. Alex, the owner, works with small farms to empower them. He helps them certify and "cup", the process by which their coffee can be ranked and classified. He hand roasts at the shop. All pour over versions, espresso drinks and cold brew are here. Staff is bilingual. Small courtyard out back, open mic on Fridays, and free wifi!

Yep, I came because the espressos here were acclaimed and they did not disappoint. 10/10 espresso, service, treats (get the cinnamon bun!) wifi and work spaces. I highly recommend this place.

Great coffee shop! Their coffee is one of the top in Antigua, which is already saying quite a bit which is reason enough to go. And where it really stands out is in the kindness of the staff! Been there a few times and they were always just naturally personable. They also gave us a recommendation for a coffee tour with De La Gente which was one of the best experiences we've had in Guatemala. Finally it has a great area to lounge or work and some outdoors seating. Wholeheartedly recommend this place!

This was my favourite place to get some work done in Antigua. Great wifi, nice layout for work space & very nomad friendly. Plus their coffee is amazing!

Very lovely barista (with good spoken English) and amazing coffee from their own roastery! If impressed, you can take their coffee home with you. Speciality blands, dark espresso roasts or lighter ones for filtered coffee.:) Plant based milk options. Great place to study/work.

Excellent coffee, well priced, fast wifi, and overall just a great coffee shop! The cold brew and flat white were outstanding. Highly recommend having a coffee or three here ☕️

Great location, great coffee carefully and professionally made, great staff providing great services. What more can one expect from a coffee shop?

Amazing coffee and cinnamon bun, but you get all the pollution from the traffic outside coming in through their giant doors

I wish I discovered this place sooner during my stay in Antigua! Seriously, the best cafe/work space here. Great coffee, excellent WiFi, friendly staff, and a nice quiet environment.

They roast local coffee and make great coffee drinks that are beautiful, tasty, and very reasonably priced. I am looking forward to returning during my next visit to Antigua.

Absolutely fantastic place! I ordered a pour over and the honey late which were both perfect. Great place for people who take coffee “seriously” they really do it right here!

If you are remotely interested in properly done coffee, come here. La Vid makesTHE best tasting espresso in Antigua (and I'm picky about my coffee). I've sampled almost all the other coffee places in town and this one consistently comes up on top. Ask for an 8oz double ristretto flat white, it's as magic as the name.

Absolutely loved it here. Cozy and friendly environment. All staffs are amazing. Has a perfect workspace. Wifi is good. Coffees are perfect.

Tried almost all the speciality coffee spots in Antigua and there's many good ones, however this one is definitely the best price/quality ratio.

Best coffee of Antigua! Pity it is closed on sundays 😅 I feel a bit like a coffee junky, but the place serves spectacular good coffee!

This was by far our favorite coffee shop! Alex is a coffee professional. I’ve had a lot of good coffee, but their locally sourced beans and in-store roasting is 💯. Each cup of “slow coffee” or pour over is like a piece of art. Each element is warmed first and timed. Amazing level of detail- watching the grounds bloom, using precise water temperature... I wish I could come here every day! The latte is also fantastic.

Fantastic coffee. Service was really friendly as well. We came here a few times during our trip and loved our coffee every time.

Excellent service excellent coffee. There’s many different coffee choices, I opted for the honey latte which was spectacular.

👍👍 Great place to get lunch! The sandwich tasted great and the lemonade was amazing. Also, the staff was so sweet! I loved that they made some nice conversation. ❤️ I do feel like the 15% surcharge is a bit excessive.
