The best of the hostel was the location. But if you want to wait for an hour to take a shower or go to the toilet(as THERE IS ONLY ONE TOILET and shower in the whole hostel) and have back pain the next day (the matress is so bad that it keeps the shape of your body). I'm also not sure they change the sheets, as one of my friends got bed bugs

We had a confirmed booking for a private room but they cancelled it and wanted us to pay double (over 600q) to book the same room. Since we were traveling we had no way to check that it was canceled prior to arriving. When i told the host this, he said "sorry there's nothing i can do " and just walked away. Because it was new year's, we had no choice but to pay the same 300q for a mixed dorm that Priceline had confirmed for the private. In addition the bathroom was really moldy, ther place was too loud to sleep unless you got drunk enough to pass out. Overall, the worst hostel ive stayed in by far. I would never recommend this place

Not recommend. Staff is absent, very dirty/disorganized, extremely loud/bright due to lack of full walls in the dorm and the bar directly upstairs. Kitchen is usually full of the staff and their families that live there. Overall pretty awful experience.

The host is amazing and very helpful. You can book tours there as well and get a breakfast.

Great location and happy with the room, loved the terrace. Downsides were, advertised breakfast was included in the rate, there was no breakfast… when I asked it was kind of brushed off. it very quiet guest wise, but the people looking after the place were noisy and the sound travelled through the thin walls., normal for some noise hostels, but usually it’s the guests, not the people looking after the place! Could be great with proper service and transparency

It is a safe and familiar place. The owners are very friendly and there are a rooftop bar. I really didn´t like the bathroom which was not very clean because it was only one for the two shared rooms.

Nice quite hostal. Friendly, helpful owner. They sell ice creams! And price is really good. Maybe the best price you can find in this touristic city. Kitchen is well equiped but I give it 4 stars because the fridge was a chaos. And someone ate my cheese.

Very nice place to stay in Antigua Guatemala, right in the city center and for a fare price. Close to all the restaurants and main things. The beds are very confortable, the place has an incredible terrace with amazing view to the city and the lava of the Fire Volcano during night and the owner is very friendly and helpful :)

Great place to stay while visiting Antigua and surroundings. It's a family-run place really comfortable and feels like home, they are very helpful and knowledgeable about things to do. There is wifi, kitchen you can use, rooftop terrace with great views, definitely recommended!!

It is a very well positioned hostel close to interesting places (restaurants, beaches, shops), the setting is exotic, very quiet and with a large green space. Ideal for taking your time and chilling in peace. There is access to the lake 5 min walk away for superb sunsets. You have a very good kitchen available with toaster, blender, microwave, oven and coffee maker! It is possible to rent scooters here and the owners are super nice!! Billiards, table football, water corner, place for yoga and soon electro-techno events will be offered on certain dates. This homestay is ideal if you have no luxury requirements. We feel at home, with a great family and generous atmosphere. The positive point is mainly in terms of positioning, environment and vibe. I highly recommend this place ! 🫶🏻
