A place that turns out to be a great jewel in history, after everything that this building has functioned, now more than ever the operation of this place is dignified by being used as a center of culture and fine arts, that and taking into account Note that in the past it was the post office center in Guatemala and today it is a huge history museum.

A good place located in the historic center of the city. A public building that once housed the operation of the country's postal and telegraph offices. You can learn the inside details of how the mail worked I will continue to locate a public relations person of the place to have a guided tour

Magnificent museum, it's free! It has an interesting collection of postal stamps, scales, typewriters, telephones, and many other things. It is an exhibition that does not take up your time and allows you to see how the mail and telegraph worked. Highly recommended to go, the staff is very attentive.

It has a new location, it is always in the Post Office Building but now the entrance is on 7th Avenue (in front of Ibarguen House). Upon arrival, the temperature is taken and we apply gel, we go up to the second level and on the right there is a guide (if he is not there, ask at the offices). The guide is very well trained, he explained to us in detail each element shown in the Museum, they let us take photos and they allowed us to go out to the balconies. The museum is relatively small but one is enchanted with all the WONDERFUL things kept there; It is free for nationals (I didn't ask if they charge foreigners, I forgot), and they are only open from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to 5p.m.

Nice place to visit. Many works are observed, an orderly and clean place is observed. I consider that a better guide is needed to be able to observe the entire construction sector. The basement museum (telegraph) understood that if the manager is not there it is not possible to enter 😅😒 I think they should give other people the opportunity to support it. As for the information provided by the person (👮) who takes care of the basement, it was very helpful to us and people this helpful are the ones who deserve more support. 👍

(Translated by Google) It is a very original museum where I know. Tell the story of the evolution of communications via postal. You can see old instruments and machines. It is a nostalgic trip for those who made letters by hand and sent their dreams and feelings by post (Original) Es un museo muy original donde se. I enjoyed this small museum with the stamps from different eras in Guatemala and a few international ones. They had a video at the beginning explaining the history, and there was an option with English subtitles. Spent maybe 20 minutes here. They opened at 2pm and it's free.

Importante aprender sobre la forma antigua de comunicación. Habría que publicitar más este museo para que más personas aprendan de él. Lo mejor, es gratis.
