Beautiful place! (Original) Que bello lugar, con mucha historia dentro de sus paredes, si vas a la Antigua es una visita que debes hacer, hay parqueo justo detrás de las ruinas y hasta se pueden hacer eventos. Precioso lugar!

I personally found it a little underwhelming in comparison to some of the other sites on offer in Antigua. The entrance free is also very high in comparison to some other places on offer (40q). However, my girlfriend did manage to get some great shots from around the grounds.

A nice peaceful park and a good sunset view with the Agua volcano, not much else to see. I did see local teenagers doing a fun team-building game which make it more lively to enjoy. Not worth the ticket price.

Would not recommend coming. The price is too expensive for foreigners and there are no signs etc explaining the site

Although there are many church ruins in Antigua, and some grand, this one stands out for its beauty. The grounds around the ruined Jeronimite Monastery are impeccably kept, more like a garden. Flowering bushes and trees drape everywhere. There is plenty of space to enjoy solitude off the busy street next to the Public Market.

(Translated by Google) The Ruins of San JerĂłnimo are recommended to be with the family, as a couple or alone. They are quiet and very spacious. The entrance costs only Q5.00 for national tourists. (Original) Las Ruinas de San JerĂłnimo son recomendadas para estar en familia, en pareja o en solitario. Son tranquilas y muy amplias. La entrada cuesta sĂłlo Q5.00 para turistas nacionales.

I really liked this place. It is small, but the fountain is so beautiful and peaceful I thought it was worth the international tourist price.

It is quite an impressive ruin nicely overgrown with some weeds and flowers but the 40q entrance are a bit of a rip off.

Tourist trap! The price for locals go from q5 to q20 as for foreigners the price is q40! Just some small ruins with no info! Also, there is an open gate at the back that you may enter without paying! Not worth the money at all!
